Has there ever been a less-convincing title threat
IWD replied to AnonymousBroccoli's topic in The WWE Folder
That's my pick for one of the least-convincing. Terrible match too. -
...yes, because it was co-produced by WCW. Cool.
-
I would imagine they could get it licensed. Did they have rights to the AAA PPV for Rey Mysterio's DVD?
-
I'd like to see the cage match vs Kerry Von Erich on there too. I think it was around 1982, but it's out of this world coolness.

In no particular order, 8,17,20,25,32,40

In my opinion, from best to worst... Royal Rumble 1991 Royal Rumble 1989 Royal Rumble 1990 In Your House 18: Bad Blood In Your House 5 Survivor Series 1989 In House House 9: International Incident In Your House 4 D-Generation X

Seems like an idea with potential. No wonder McMahon didn't go with it then...

I read this quite a while ago, perhaps a year or thereabouts. I thought it was quite good. Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Fuck - don't let him over here!!!!!
-
Fantastic - much appreciated.

Unfortunately, it still appears to be suspended when I look at it.

The best wrestling book ever is still Pure Dynamite.
-
Dynamite's book is the best wrestling book ever written, period.

How many Clashes were commercially released? I seem to remember the first 4 coming out, at least, but I don't know if they were cut or not.

Post deleted.

As an aside, I've often wondered if Benoit has any heat with the Rougeaus for the incident between Dynamite Kid and Jacques.

Ex-actly. Unless WWE comes up with the card to end all cards I'm not buying Mania when I had it free last year. If the PPVs on Box Office were the price of say, a football match, I'd consider it. For £14.99 they can go fuck themselves. My sentiments exactly, especially when you can wait a month or two, and get it on DVD for the same price.

At StarrCade '88, JYD and Ivan Koloff wrestled the Russian Assassins - anyone know who they were? Also, at Great American Bash '88, there was a Russian Assassin in the Tower Of Doom match - anyone know who that was? Cheers.

I may be really behind the times here, but I never heard anything official that either Big Boss Man or Haku were released from their contracts, so I was wondering if they were perhaps working as road agents or trainers. Big Boss Man was last on TV in 2002, jobbing to Tommy Dreamer, whereas Haku was last on TV in 2001, jobbing to Shawn Stasiak. Anyone?

I'd like to see Royal Rumble '88 being released eventually.

Including WCW, I count Ric Flair as 66, and Hogan as 61.
