Interesting matches we've never seen/heard about
IWD replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I've heard that JYD won a Rumble prior to that but have no idea as to when / where. Maybe there's just some confusion over who won this particular match. I got the results from both Inside Wrestling and the Observer so it's accurate. Thanks. Just for the sake of my confusion, can you clarify if you mean you got the results on the site from The Observer, or the fact that JYD won from THe Observer? Cheers. -

I remember being very impressed by Greg Valentine vs Smash on Prime Time Wrestling (July 8, 1991 according to http://www.100megsfree4.com/wiawrestling/p...fprimetime.htm). It went about 18 minutes. Not sure what I would think of it today though. Cheers.

Marty is 45. Shawn is 39. Cheers.

He wrestled Doug Furnas on one PPV event. He was supposed to wrestle someone else...I think Kanemura, I dunno, my memory isn't great...but Kanemura pulled out so Furnas replaced him. Anyway, long story short, they had a terrible match. His first PPV against Awesome was Heatwave '98. He appeared before that in a couple of big cards: Living Dangerously '98 vs Doug Furnas, and at Terry Funk's WrestleFest where he tagged with Jinsei Shinzaki and Hayabusa to defeat Jake Roberts and The Headhunters. Last time I saw him was at the Ring Of Honor show where he tagged with Ohtani to defeat Corino & Loki. Cheers.
