Thanks for that. Will e-mail the site and let them know. Also noticed that their record of Heatwave '95 shows: The Pitbulls (1 and 2) and Tommy Dreamer defeated Raven and The Dudleys (Buh-Buh Ray, D-Von, and Big Dick) Can anyone who has this event on tape confirm whether this is incorrect? Cheers.
-
I haven't been to a FWA show in nearly a year. Used to enjoy it, just been real busy. This weekend's a busy one too. Cheers.
-
Hardcore Heaven '95 had The Dudley Boyz (Bubba and D-Von) vs The Pitbulls, so I guess they were tagging together at that stage too. Source: http://www.100megsfree4.com/wiawrestling/p...ecw/ecwhard.htm Cheers.
-
Barbed wire was barely used. Cheers.
-
Main event should go 20 minutes. Plenty of time left. Cheers.
-
Unless I imagined it, there was a HBK chant in the match. Cheers.
-
I agree with you...London also just went over 5 guys (even defeating the reigning champ first) and people still complain...geez. London winning would've been miraculous and he was so close then Chavo (whom I'm glad is back to dick status) steals it just like he did last year...I love it, good booking. Hell, my only complaint was that, just like Mania, the individual matches still lasted like a minute each WHERE THE HELL IS KIDMAN!?!? Technically London went over 4 guys, but get the point. Kidman's last house show was 3rd January, so no idea where he is. Not injured as far as I've heard. Cheers.
-
Could happen, but I think that might get in the way of keeping Cena over. Cena needs to go over clean here if they want to keep building him. Cheers.
-
Joy wins if anyone gives a flying fuck. Cheers.
-
Somewhere out there you know a 12-year-old kid bought the event to see this diva shit. Porn would have been far better. Cheers.
-
Tombstone. Game over.
-
Reigns has got snot all over his mouth.
-
I may be wrong here, but I don't recall ever seeing Ricky Steamboat vs Nikita Koloff. Did The Steiner Brothers ever face The Dudley Boyz? They were in ECW at the same time in 1995. Cheers.
-
WrestleMania VIII was '92, not '93. Shane would have been 22 as he was born in January '70. Cheers.

The one WWF show I've been to in 20+ years as a wrestling fan. Insurrextion 02 - London, England - Wembley Arena - May 4, 2002 (9,308; sell out) Mr. Perfect pinned Goldust with the Perfect Plex Pay-per-view bouts - included Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler on commentary; featured footage from the previous night's 2nd annual Make a Wish Foundation charity auction / dinner in London: Rob Van Dam defeated WWF IC Champion Eddie Guerrero via disqualification at 11:24 when the champion grabbed the title belt and shoved the referee; after the decision, Guerrero chased the referee around the ring and into the ring where RVD dropped him with a spin kick, hit him in the face with the title belt, and landed the Five Star Frog Splash Trish Stratus & Jackie defeated WWF Women's Champion Jazz & Molly Holly at 7:43 with simultaneous pins, Trish pinning Jazz with the bulldog and Jackie pinning Molly with a DDT X-Pac pinned Bradshaw at 8:49 with a low blow and the X-Factor after Bradshaw missed the Clothesline of Hell, instead knocking Scott Hall off the ring apron; prior to the bout, X-Pac came to the ring wearing a Kane mask; late in the bout, Hall came ringside as X-Pac appeared to be on the verge of losing Booker T pinned WWF Hardcore Champion Steven Richards to win the title with the Bookend at 9:50; immediately after the match, Crash Holly ran ringside and pinned Booker with a roll up to win the title; seconds thereafter, Booker hit the scissors kick to regain the belt; Tommy Dreamer and Justin Credible then came out but were beaten down by Booker; as Booker was celebrating the win, Richards returned ringside alongside Jazz, with Jazz hitting a low blow on the champion, allowing Richards to put Booker through a table, pin him, and regain the belt Matt & Jeff Hardy defeated Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) & Shawn Stasiak at 6:42 when Jeff pinned Stasiak following the Twist of Fate / Swanton combo; after the bout, Lesnar hit the F5 on both Hardyz, then - at the instruction of Heyman - hit a spinebuster and a spinning powerbomb on Stasiak WWF European Champion Spike Dudley pinned William Regal with an inside cradle at 4:56; early in the match, Spike appeared to have injured his ankle while attempting the Dudley Dog; moments later, the trainer came out and took off Spike's boot to check the ankle; as the champion was being helped to the back, Regal came from behind and attacked him on the floor, and threw him back inside the ring to continue the match; after the bout, Regal knocked Spike out after hitting him with a pair of brass knuckles; Spike was eventually carried backstage by referees Steve Austin pinned the Big Show at 15:00 after hitting a Stunner on an interfering Kevin Nash, who came out of the crowd, and then hitting two Stunners on Show; minutes earlier, Ric Flair - the special second referee - chased Scott Hall and X-Pac backstage with a shovel after they came ringside and pulled Flair out of the ring as he went to count Austin's cover on Show; after the bout, Flair returned ringside and sent Nash backstage before sharing in a beer with Austin, with Austin saying that the recent problems between the two were forgotton and he would let bygones be bygones; moments later, as Flair went to drink his beer, Austin kicked him in the midsection and dropped him with the Stunner Triple H pinned the Undertaker at 14:31 by hitting a kneelift as Taker ran the ropes and following with the Pedigree Cheers.
-
There was a Rock/Austin vs Hogan/Nash/Hall match on Raw in 2002. No singles matches though. Cheers.
-
No matches to date, in WWE at least. Don't recall any ECW matches. Cheers.
-
Probably over 30. He debuted in 1990, so had been wrestling 10 years before he showed up in ECW in mid-1990. Cheers.
-
It's a horrible match, unusually horrible for Doom since they were a good team actually. It's strange that they picked this match considering that Wrestle War '91 was a great show and this was one of the few bad matches to be found that night. Yep, this match was rather dull compared to what they put out regularly. This was a few days after The Steiners won the tag titles if I remember correctly. Good card though, with an excellent War Games and a really good Luger vs Spivey match. Cheers.
-
Steamboat was in the first WrestleMania too. Dory Funk Jr also deserves to go in. He held the NWA title for over 4 years. Cheers.
-
It really was quite something. Great Rockers vs Rougeaus match at that event too. Cheers.
-
If you're asking around *the world* you would also get people saying Keiji Mutoh, Giant Baba, Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada, Jumbo Tsuruta, and others. Cheers.

I meant North American promotions, which has been the crux of the HOF so far. It would be nice to get Inoki in there in the future though. I'm sure that a lot of guys say he was one of the best wrestlers, but I feel that too much of his career was out of the North American spotlight, which is really what this HOF is centered on (presumably to make the fans care about the inductees). Otherwise, you'd think Inoki, Tenryu, Dr. Death, or Vader would have already been considered, and not even fans discuss putting those guys in. I think they all have a strong chance at some point (Tenryu being perhaps the least likely though.) Sure, very unlikely to be this year, but if they keep the Hall Of Fame going then I would expect them to enter it in the future. Cheers.

Make no doubt about it, Dynamite Kid deserves to be there. The British Bulldogs were the number one tag team in the WWF for a substantial amount of time, main eventing several large shows for them. Dynamite was also the Junior Heavyweight Champion, is heavily referenced on WWE TV today, is still legendary in Japan, and was one of the figureheads behind Stampede Wrestling. Cheers.
