Vince is about crowd reactions? LOL!!! Then I wish he would explain the lack of crowd reaction the DX skits and Kelly Kelly have been getting plus the push of Chris Masters (before the roids). That hasn't stopped him before so why is the crowd so important to him now?

From PWInsider.com's news Hot News Hotline: A meeting was held before last night's Smackdown/ECW taping with Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, and Paul Heyman. The decision has been made to pretty much break away from all the old ECW characters, ideas, and style of booking. The new plan is to make the show a full fledged third C brand of the WWE. Vince McMahon was really let down by the reaction of the crowd at the ECW Arena house show, last week's 15% ratings drop, and the so far low ticket sales for the Smackdown/ECW tapings especially for the July 4th taping at the Wachovia Center. Those things were said to be huge factors in this decision. Paul Heyman now has even less control over the product while Tommy Dreamer has none. Heyman did script last night's show but alot of it was re-written by the WWE writers. Also for the first two weeks Heyman was in charge of running the shows backstage but that all changed last night as the show was ran pretty much like the usual for Raw and Smackdown. A decision has been made starting with last night's taping to only fly in the ECW wrestlers that are scripted to work on the show. Only for the house show events will the entire roster be flown in. Also the old ECW referees are expected to get the axe very soon like former ECW ring announcer Stephen D'angelous did last week. I don't know why Heyman is putting up with this.

WWE released Mikey Batts, a former TNA undercard performer, from his WWE developmental deal today. Batts had been working in Ohio Valley Wrestling of late. No word yet on why Batts was released from pwinsider

From WrestlingObserver: Writing change at WWE David Lagana has been replaced as lead writer on Smackdown by Alex Greenfield. Lagana will move to being a writer on ECW.

WWE News: Ratings in for ECW debut on Sci Fi, well above TNA, but below Wednesday special By Wade Keller, Torch editor Jun 14, 2006, 16:25 -The first episode of ECW on Sci Fi dre a 2.7 rating with a 2.6 in the male 18-49 demo and a 3.1 in the 18-34 demo with an average audience of 3.4 million.

I think real reason the show will be taped now is because Sci-Fi saw how the ECW crowd was like on Sunday.

So did people have the same feeling when Eddie beat Lesnar? Because all that did was help set up Goldberg v Brock.

-Trish Startus hasn't been entertaining since 2000 and also was better to look at -Goofy Kurt Angle was more entertaining than intense Kurt Angle -Kane should've held the title longer than a day -Besides his WrestleMania match against HBK Jericho has never a good match in the WWE.

WWE should only do Raw in Chicago, New York, Philly, Texas, and Canada. These last two Raw crowds have been horrible.
