Your top 10 films of 2008

Every single one. I don't rank movies that I don't see in theatres. I'm actually up to 116, just haven't ranked them yet. How do you do it? Do you only go on discount nights/get in for free? Do you have nothing else that you find worth spending money on? If this is something I should know about you, forgive me for not paying enough attention to the more prominent posters here..

But you saw The Love Guru..? The Love Guru involved the Toronto Maple Leafs. If Zohan involved the Leafs, I'd see it too. Ok, ok. How many of those 114 movies did you see in theaters?

Your top 10 films of 2008

I don't know if I'd say that. Last year was the year of Part Threes: Spidey 3, Pirates 3, Shrek 3, Ocean's 13, Rush Hour 3..and while those were all a little disappointing, they were still decent movies. The Bourne Ultimatum was awesome. We also had Transformers, Superbad, Juno, Ratatouille and Knocked Up..plus HP and the OotP, There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men. I'm not saying 2007 was better than 2008 (I can't really make a definite decision on that), but I certainly wouldn't say that 08 was much better, if at all.

Comments that which don't warrant a thread

The Famous Jett Jackson wasn't really really rich and I didn't hear him complaining about his name..

If you take all the capital letters it probably spells something out.

2009 TSM Poster Tournament: The Round of 64

I should probably start paying attention to who posts what around here. The only people I really know enough about to vote for/against in one of things are the few people that I tend to disagree/argue with.

The Dark Knight Wall-E Iron Man Forgetting Sarah Marshall Tropic Thunder Role Models Burn After Reading Zack and Miri Make a Porno Get Smart Pineapple Express I think I only saw 13 movies in 2008, the other three being 21, Harold and Kumar, and Cloverfield. Oh and I saw the first hour or so of Seven Pounds online but was so bored with it that I didn't bother to watch the end. I read what happened though.

    OaO WWE Raw - January 5, 2009

A thought I just had: I know I said that HBK vs Undertaker has to happen this year because it's Wrestlemania 25 in Houston. But that match is so big that no matter when it happens, it's going to be huge. Plus, Deadman Taker isn't even billed as being from Texas. Let's just say that they do go with HBK vs JBL (Personally, I'd rather the title not be involved, let Orton and Punk fight for it). I don't want to see Undertaker's WM25 match be against some random big guy like Koslov or Umaga, so how about this: The Brothers of Destruction vs. The Legacy (Rhodes, Dibiase, and whoever becomes the 4th member). Orton wants his guys to prove themselves by doing what he couldn't do at WM21. Stephanie/Vince or whoever decides that 3 on 1 isn't fair, so they add Kane into the mix. This gives Kane something to do (I can't think of any other enticing match for Kane to be in) and allows Taker to be in a bigger match than one vs. the Monster of the Month. Thoughts?

Tell me you don't honestly think that JBL should be in the main event of Wrestlemania 25. I like JBL and all, but COME ON. There is no reason whatsoever that the title match shouldn't be Cena vs. Orton, unless one of them ends up facing Austin instead.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

I thought about that too. The only thing is, I figure Trips will want to win the title at Mania rather than at NWO. And I can't see two faces (HHH and Cena) defending and retaining at Wrestlemania. There's gotta be a title change.

I'm glad Deuce is out of Legacy. I really hope it just ends up being Orton, Dibiase, Rhodes and a fourth that isn't Manu or Deuce.

ECW really needs a few new superstars. Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry tomorrow night..again. I swear these guys have had 10 one-on-one matches in the past 6 months.

This match has gone on longer than Punk vs. Regal. Something is seriously wrong with the WWE.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. I think it looks terrible. In fact, I won't even considering seeing it because of that retardedly long preview.
