Thoughts on the Draft: Rey Mysterio - to Raw, from Smackdown: I wasn't very excited about the first draft pick last night. I think that Rey's size and style make him a much better fit for Smackdown and after his "do it for Eddie" title run two years ago, I don't want to see him anywhere near a World title again. I'm not really sure what he'll do on Raw, but I would like to see him in matches with HBK, Jericho, and Punk just for the hell of it. Jeff Hardy - to Smackdown, from Raw: I was hoping we'd see this happen. I unfortunately can't see Jeff Hardy ever being the champion on Raw, but a title run on Smackdown seems not only possible but probable. He has a near 10-year rivalry with Edge that can be taken to a whole new level, and I can't wait to see what happens with that. Hopefully it will lead to a ladder match at some point. I was also excited that they were going to have Matt and Jeff on the same show to be used as a team every once in a while, but.. Matt Hardy - to ECW, from Smackdown: What the fuck? That was my initial reaction to this move. I just don't get it. Matt Hardy is good and all, but I really don't see him being the face of a brand and I don't know why they couldn't just keep him with Jeff. Plus, he has a Smackdown title. Hopefully, he will retain the US Title at Night of Champions. Then when Big Show (a Smackdown superstar) wins the ECW title, Vickie can trade TBS for Hardy and the titles can be back where they belong. Big Show would then be the main face of ECW for a while. CM Punk - to Raw, from ECW: A big loss for ECW, but hopefully a big win for Raw. Punk's popularity is really getting up there..hopefully it won't die and have to be rebuilt up as a result of the move (see: Mr. Kennedy). Jim Ross and Michael Cole - switched: I hate Michael Cole and JR IS Raw. Fortunately, this is the only draft pick that I really didn't like. Batista - to Raw, from Smackdown: Anything that gets Batista away from Edge is a good thing. I'm very glad to see Big Dave back on Raw. I see the championship in his near future, and hopefully a full-blown heel turn until Orton is ready to come back. Umaga - to Smackdown, from Raw: I really was hoping for Umaga to go to ECW, where he could get back together with Armando and play the heel monster to Big Show's babyface monster. I guess Smackdown is good enough, though he's still on the same show as Jeff Hardy. Their matches have been decent, but way overdone. Kane - to Raw, from ECW: Thank you. I hated when Kane was drafted to Smackdown and I'm glad he's back home. I don't why, it might be because he wears red and black, but I've always thought Kane should be on Raw. Hopefully he will give the title to Big Show at Night of Champions and start a new monster run on Raw. The mask coming back would be great, but I don't see it happening. Mr. Kennedy - to Smackdown, from Raw: I guess this is a good thing. Kennedy will have a chance to really shine on Smackdown and hopefully get a title reign sometime in the next year or so. Plus, he's got the feud with Edge all set up and ready to go. I'm also glad to see Kennedy and MVP back on the same show. I'd love to see a feud between those two. Triple H- to Smackdown, from Raw: I don't know if I really see this lasting. I was hoping it would be Cena rather than HHH moving to Fridays, but I'll take what I can get. It'll be interesting to see if Smackdown finally gets the recognition it deserves as a separate but equal show. I see Triple H retaining (and Batista winning the WHC) at Night of Champions to do a title switch. All in all, I'm very happy with how the draft switched things up. Now the main event scenes are: Raw: Cena, Batista, Jericho, Orton, HBK, Kane, Punk Smackdown: Edge, Kennedy, Triple H, Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Umaga, MVP I can't wait to see what happens on Sunday and where things go after that.

Is there really a list of suspects on wwe.com? I can't find it anywhere.. I didn't really get the feeling after the accident that they are going to go with a Whodunit angle. I think it's just going to be that there was an accident and now Vince changes somehow.

You do realize the draft has always been a "random lottery" right? It's not really a draft. The only time the "draft" effect is really used is when the GM's did trades on WWE.com. It's also a work, the GM's have no control on who their picking. So how would feelings even get hurt? All Vince has to do is tell one wrestler "yeah...we're gonna put you on Smackdown now." and then that person would be on smackdown. I understand it's always been a lottery, but it was supposed to be a draft the first year before it was switched because it would rank the wrestlers and cause some to be buried if they were not drafted. Say the bookers didn't want HBK moved, how do you not draft him as a rival GM and explain for storyline purposes - you didn't think HBK was good enough? That's why each GM submitting a list of those they want to keep would be a good idea. It's basically taking the whole roster off their shows and re-distributing, but with only a few (10 or so) changes.

I read two of Carlin's books before I ever actually saw him perform, and I have to say..I enjoyed reading his work more. However, he was hilarious in person and in print. RIP.

With so many of my top picks gone, I've almost given up on getting a great set of games, so I'm just gonna start picking the first games that come to mind.

I didn't intentionally not PM him, I just forgot. I'll make sure to do it from here on out. I just don't think everyone should rely on PMs, they should check the thread themselves too (and you only have to once every 12 hours, come on now).

Well, I really don't know what I should pick now from a strategic point of view, so I guess I'll just keep the draft moving and pick a match that I wanted but was going to save til a later round. The 2005 Royal Rumble There were a lot of things I loved about this match: Benoit and Eddie being the first two, Benoit/Eddie/Holly vs. Puder, Hassan's elimination, Raw vs. Smackdown, London's elimination, Rey's ironman performance, etc. I knew I wanted to have a Rumble with me and this was my favorite one (since 00).

Man, I didn't think it would be so hard to make my first pick. I don't necessarily want to pick in the order in which I enjoyed games, because it would be smarter to play strategically and hope I don't get screwed. With that said, my first pick is going to be a game that I first played on Nintendo 64 and later bought for the DS because I had enjoyed it so much the first time around. It is perhaps the best Mario game ever, though many of you may disagree. All I know is that I could play this game over and over and have just as much fun each time. My first pick is Super Mario 64 - Nintendo 64

DAMNIT! I never thought Team Austin vs Team Bischoff would get picked..it probably would have been my 3rd or 4th pick from now. I love HBK's almost perfect comeback at the end, and Austin's speech after the match ended.
