If there ever was a WWE PPV to get, this is it. Not true. It wasn't great, just good. Jeff-Umaga was boring, Triple H-Orton was boring (though it wasn't their fault that it had to end so abruptly), and Cena-JBL was lame.

I bought and tried all 3 at the same time. Two of them (I don't remember which, though) tasted pretty similar. The other one was the best of the three, though they're all good.

I had thought about Luger and Backlund, but still, nobody has picked the main guy I've been talking about and waiting to see picked.

The picture I used for Cena vs. Umaga isn't actually from the match I chose. I just couldn't find a better pic with the two of them.

This next pick is so incredibly hard for me because there are about 4 matches I want and I know that the other three will all be gone by the time my turn comes around again. I guess I'm going to go with my 2007 Match of the Year: John Cena vs Umaga - Last Man Standing - Royal Rumble 2007

AGH. I really wanted Foley vs. Edge..though I guess now my second pick is a little bit easier. For my second pick, I choose a match featuring two of my favorites ever. Although I was hesitant to use HBK again so soon, I doubt this match will make it back around to me if I don't pick it now or a few picks from now. Therefore, I choose: Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 21

I really wish I could get in this draft just so I could take the one guy who shockingly nobody has picked yet. If he survives through the first 100 picks I'm going to flip out.

To those of us who are enjoying reading this thread but aren't participating..is it me, or is there one guy left that surprisingly has not been picked? I assumed he'd go in the first 50 picks for sure..

I've only been a WWE fan since around Wrestlemania 15, so even though I know some of the greatest matches ever took place before then, I'd feel bad taking a first-round pick that surely means more to you older fans than it does to me. I never watched a Bret match or a Flair match (before 2002) on its first airing (but thanks to YouTube I've seen a bunch), so I'm gonna leave some of those classics up for grabs, for now. Instead, I'm going to choose a modern classic. One of, if not my favorite match of all time. A match that had no build-up whatsoever but still had me excited when I learned of its participants. The match with perhaps my favorite ending of all time. A match that I would be lost without. For the third pick in the Desert Island Draft, I choose: Shawn Michaels vs. Shelton Benjamin - Gold Rush Tournament - May 2, 2005

This should be fun. Third? Not bad. I got my top 30 or so matches ready to go. Let's hope nobody else is going with the same kind of strategy I am.

While I do like the idea of putting most of the bigger ME guys on one show and the smaller ones on another, it would seem odd to have HBK, Jericho, Rey, etc. fighting over the World HEAVYweight Championship while guys twice their size are on Raw. I can't see the WWE championship going back to Smackdown, but I certainly wouldn't have a problem with it. If I had my way, I'd have the main event scenes look like this: RAW: John Cena Batista Randy Orton Chris Jericho Triple H Mr. Kennedy Jeff Hardy SD: Undertaker Edge Shawn Michaels JBL Finlay Big Show MVP ECW: CM Punk Umaga John Morrison Kane Rey Mysterio Tommy Dreamer EDIT: I'd also send Trevor Murdoch to ECW, Carlito to Smackdown, and Shelton and Natalya to Raw.

YES. Since this morning I've been hoping that you would pick Benoit. I don't know why, I just thought he would fit great on a roster with Sting and E&C. Yours is definitely in my top 5 so far.
