The Worst offender of this is Holloween Havoc 1999. That whole PPV is

The state of the WWE tag team division is even more greatly exposed here. Not like it wasn't apparent before, but still. They couldn't get a tag title match out of EITHER side.

30 Man Battle Royal to take place at Wrestlemania
MikeJordan23 replied to Placebo Effect's topic in The WWE Folder
--There will be a 30 man Battle Royal, with 15 wrestlers from Raw and 15 from Smackdown, added to Sunday's Wrestlemania show. I don't know if it's fully decided, but the working idea as of this morning was for this match to be on Heat and not Wrestlemania. - WO.com -
Nobody got mines yet and they were not even that difficult.
-
If they really wanted it to get over and run a great rematch for WM 5, he should have beaten Hogan with interference from Andre. Oh and I too am glad Savage won 'Cause Savage> Ted Dibiase at everything.

Smells like something New Jack would say (or maybe Axl Rotten). No. Brian Pillman

Does SOME ONE, ANYONE have the Owen return at Degeneration X PPV? PLEASE. Not sure what's been posted but Steiners vs. Sting and Luger for the WCW Tag Team Championships SuperBrawl I http://s42.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0V049EI...BM1TLFY6YBYM4ID

That is fucked up thinking about. I'm just imaging Bret Hart in WCW in the mid 90s. Probably get the Bulldog like push for a few months, then wrestle in obscurity for the rest of his WCW career.

What are your thoughts on Bret/HBK Ironman?
MikeJordan23 replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Boring for the first 30 minutes then good for 31 minutes. -
One of my favorite PPVs. Classic Flair s. sting (Not necessarily the match, but Sting's first World Title) plus it was good to see one of Vader's first matches ever (In WCW).
-
What a retarded comment.
-
John Cena's song is dope. And that sounds like Lil Fame at the beginning. *shrug* Somewhat entertaining SmackDown, surprisingly.
-
His return in 1993 up until his face run in WCW. But liked him from the early 80s until then, then from the nWo era until about 1999 when he really got annoying again.
-
Don't hate him, but don't find him the least bit interesting or entertaining.

Just a few questions for you to answer, as it's always interesting to see different people's points of views: 1) What is your favorite WM, top to bottom, of all time? WM XVII 2) What is your least favorite WM of all time? WM IX 3) What is your favorite WM match? Bret vs. Austin (favorite match ever) 4) What is your least favorite WM match? Nothing stands out, maybe Kane vs. HHH WM XV 5) Name some honorable mentions for favorite match: Razor vs. Shawn, The Rocks. Austin WM 17, Randy Savage vs. Hogan WM V, etc... 6) What is your favorite WM venue? Madison Square Garden 7) What is your least favorite WM venue? That 3 venue nonsense at WM 2 8) Going in, which WM card do you think looked the best on paper? WM 20 9) Going in, which WM card do you think looked worst on paper? WM XI 10) What do you think is the most underrated WM of all time? WM 5 11) What do you think is the most overrated WM of all time? WM 16 12) What is your favorite WM moment? Bret Hart celebration after beating Yokozuna 13) What is your least favorite WM moment? Hogan beating Yokozuna 14) Who would you pick as the top three Wrestlemania performers of all time? Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Randy Saage 15) How many of the previous 20 Wrestlemanias have you seen? All 16) What was the most surprising WM moment to you? Ultimate Warrior's return 17) Who was your favorite "special guest" at a WM? Bob Uker i would guess 18) Which WM have you seen the most times? WM X 19) Which WM commentary team was your favorite? Jesse and Monsoon 20) Above all, what do you want to see at WM this year? Batista win
-
Yes, Bret Hart was on his way to WCW in 1992. But in his contract he has to give the WWF notice by a certain time in the year, or he's stuck. Obviously, he missed the date. This all from Dave MEltzer.
-
How did you get that from that promo? Randy is jobbing, end of discussion.
-
Yeah but he did it in a way that made sense. He set up the theme of his promo which was decisions and he executed it perfectly. What was he supposed to do? Come out and put Benoit over? That would of made alot of guys around here happy. No, but he didn't have to completely bury the other show's top two competitors for no reason other than for kicks. It was just a long winded promo full of regurgitated statements with a couple of decent lines.
-
Huh? He basically buried the SmackDown Champion and Challenger before a WM Mainevent and basically just put himself over for 25 minutes.
-
Markish impressions you had as a youth
MikeJordan23 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
Ricky Steamboat really almost died when Savage attacked him on Saturday Night's Mainevent. -
I thought Luger was supposed to beat Yokozuna and lose to BRet at WM X.
-
What reasoning do you have behind this?
-
Seems like he just slipped it/forgot his line and had to improvise.
