McGahee receives a 4th down pitch and runs 30 yards for his 3rd TD 31-3 Bills
-
I think the Bills can still make a run at a spot in the playoffs. If not, a 10-6 season. Here's their remaining schedule: Dec. 5 at Miami Dolphins Dec. 12 CLEVELAND BROWNS Dec. 19 at Cincinnati Bengals Dec. 26 at San Francisco 49ers Jan. 2 PITTSBURGH STEELERS Pittsburgh's the only question mark - but those are all easy wins otherwise.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
GreatWhiteNope replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
How many times did Russo shut down the company in order to plan out storylines? I want to say 2 - the first one resulted in the exceptionally good episode of Nitro where he stripped Sid and everyone else of their titles. I forget the second - but there was definately at least one more time that happened. -
It would be fairer to compare screens from the full-screen edition of the DVD trilogy with the widescreen edition.
-
For *SOME* movies. Before the 1950's, widescreen was not common.
-
It depends on the original aspect ratio of the film. But for newer movies, widescreen is better than full screen just because it contains all the image data. I know older people prefer full-screen because they're used to watching television that way and are threatened by change. Commonly heard: "Those black bars are annoying!" But we know better.

What's the worst WCW Nitro Ever?

I think it was the side of a highway. But yeah, that was terrible. -
I honestly think that's been his best WWE match. Not to mention, RVD wins the match, and the crowd is ABSOLUTELY and undeniably rabid the entire time for RVD. Even the setup for the match -- when RVD, unknowingly, is the first wrestler to walk through a door and receive a title shot at Steve Austin later in the night -- was a markout moment. That was my biggest markout moment ever. The crowd went INSANE when RVD came through the door.

Download.com is a terrible site. Because it is? I meant in regards to someone describing what advantages Firefox has over IE. That's all they ever come up with. That, and tabbed browsing, which has been a feature of many other browsers for years. People are acting like Firefox is innovative when it just copied everything else and still lacks in some areas. Mainly it's rendering engine. And like I said, the odds of someone's browser being compromised is slim to none.
-
Any pathetic software developer does this. Edited for accuracy. Then why does everyone always answer "it's more secure than IE"? Maxthon is simply a frontend for Internet Explorer that adds features it lacks. The odds of IE being compromised is slim to none. 99% of web pages today are developed with Internet Exporer-based rendering in mind. You hate IE because the linux geeks got to you. Admit it.

The Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox (it's gone through several name changes as just about everything is copyrighted by someone else these days) project has been about stripping all the waste and garbage out of the Netscape/Mozilla engine to make it render pages as fast as possible. And it doesn't matter since it still uses the Netscape Gecko engine as it's core - and that hasn't been updated to adhere with new browser technology in roughly seven years. Which is why the pages load like crap. The latest version of IE along with Maxthon both have ActiveX blockers and pop-up blockers. Maxthon has had tabbed browsing for three years now. I don't get why Microsoft releasing security updates for Internet Explorer makes it an unsafe browser. The reason faults don't exist in the Gecko core is because it's poorly made and primative. And the only reason Firefox has had this recent wave of popularity is because they publically announced a grassroots campaign to flood software websites with artificial reviews praising it. Firefox is shit. There's better alternatives. Don't believe the hype.

My friends are hardcore U2 fans, but even they admit U2 isn't exactly rock. I call it pussy rock. But they've paid their dues so i respect them for making semi-decent music. The ending last night was indeed very cool.
-
There's only one problem with that...Maxthon works off of Internet Explorer and therefore faces the same security problems that IE does. On the other hand, Mozilla's based off Netscape and has slow, awkward page rendering.

Howard Stern playing the sound clip until it wasn't funny anymore.

This Sportscenter episode should get an emmy or something - great stuff.

I'm sure that 60+ year old woman that ended up on her back would disagree. Probably that damn plant granny from those wrestling videos. And after the game, the players invited her to the locker room where they enjoyed a hearty laugh while eating cake and tea.

After further review - Artest did go after the right guy. Right before Artest reaches the guy in the black shirt, you can actually see the guy's hand extended and arced like he just threw the bottle.

From the one angle, it actually looks like that black girl in the Pistons jersey tossed it at him.
