Rate these American TV shows for me please

I would have liked to have heard the pitch to network execs. "Ed Asner and Haley Joel Osment as a family with a gas station in their living room." GOLD. -

The obscure TGIF shows from my childhood are INVADING BRITAIN! -
My son, never question the integrity of your divinity and it's missionaries. You are blind to true enlightenment, and that is why I'm here. To guide you towards the path one can not comprehend through mere thought alone. Come, what troubles you?

I bought a LD player off eBay like a year ago, mainly so I can have films/shows that aren't out on DVD in good quality. Sadly, I don't have the cables to hook it up so I haven't actually used it yet. From my experiences - the resolution is lower than DVD, but the picture is pretty damn good. My high school science teacher surprised us one day about 3 years ago and started playing a laserdisc. I was cracking the fuck up because I was the only one who knew what it was. I guess most science material was distributed on LD back then as it was the "next big thing" and science class was an obvious way to show off the technology. A downside to Laserdiscs was that they could only hold roughly 1 hour of video on each side - so it had to be flipped if it was longer than that. Some players did that automatically, some didn't. Like mine. But my player has a backstory at least - it was used at Universal Studios to play the videos people saw while waiting in line at the rides. I found that pretty cool.

My child, there is no shame in your lust. Taking a page from Luke 4:56, "If thou chooses one as an eternal branch, thou must express these feelings to that branch". Nurture the branch. Embrace the branch. Let the branch ream your soul and consume your humanity. Your being a cheerleader confirms your constant and untamed love for branches. Assist the boy in conforming to your ideals. Great pleasure will be found if you are successful in this conversion. May the force be with you.

Simpsons was on Thursdays up until the mid-90's. Right after In Living Color. Now there's an awesome block.

Remember that one tournament on WCW Saturday Night where the ring posts were decorated like Slim Jims?

Give it time.

"USA Live" on the USA Network in the mid-90's. People's Court and Love Connection for three hours every weekday afternoon. Oh yeah.

I was watching it with some friends last week - we were amused. He had an insanely popular show in Britain called "So Graham Norton" but decided to leave it and come to LA for a change of pace.

The youhavebadtasteinmusic.com guy is at their show in LA tonight. He's gonna get killed.

Whatever one it was where they were shilling something and Nash goes "first 5000 callers will receive one and after that NOBODY WILL HAVE ANY!".

Added "self-proclaimed" into my vocabulary at a very early age. Also added the phrase "assume the position" which made for some awkward moments in elementary school.

I liked the stuff he did with D'Lo post-Nation. Sadly, that's all I can say.

I love that name. Apparently he came here after the DVDVR guys got sick of him. So...who wants to apply?

The next version of Windows is codenamed "Longhorn" and it's currently in beta. It will be out in 2006 at the earliest. Intel is still stretching the life of Pentium 4's. They've pushed back the release of 4 GHZ P4 processors until 2005. I don't care about AOL.

And it's got Stern. I had WBLK set as my radio-alarm last year. Their morning crew was truly something to behold. Let's just say trying to intersperse political talk with "YO YO CHECK OUT DA NEW SIZZLA JOINT!" is a bad idea. Anyone else find it funny that our major urban radio station has the call letters "BLK"? We do.

A few new pictures of Tammy "Sunny" Sytch.

I found this from an interview Missy did with TheMayhem.com on 5/28/03: So she's been like that for over a year. -

She first posed with Missy Hyatt for wrestlingvixxxens.com in mid-2001. -
You mean the "Nick Days" ones, right? They used to air between commercials. Like they'd say "Today, August 24th is National Friendship Day in Japan! - Go help a friend, or make a new one! Everyday is a Nick Day!". That was annoying as hell. Especially since they always aired the "Stay Tuned For *insert show name here* On Nickelodeon!" spot right before or after the Nick Days ads.
