I might agree with you if Benoit had any charisma at all. Or if he could cut a promo. The only reason he got the title was because HHH saw Benoit as no threat to his spot. Not because he deserved it more than Jericho, Booker and RVD all of whom were buried. Not because of some "connection with the audience". Benoit belongs in the upper midcard.

DOI is a shitty, shitty website.

Any competant writer could do what Kreski did. Too bad he's dead but don't act like he was the only hope.

The WWF writing team from the time Vince bought the promotion untill about 1992 or so mainly consisted of a combination of Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Gorilla Monsoon, Arnold Skaaland, and perhaps a few others. Vince put his input in, and all final decisions always passed through him, but he was mainly concerned with the buisness end of the promotion, and making money with Hogan then he was with whatever was going on with the Undercard at the time. I'm pretty sure George Scott was in there too for a period.

than to post? He should.

Warrior ran slower and more controlled if I remember correctly. But I was still surprised that he didn't fall. That would have been hilarious.

The RAW Thread for 05-02-05: Show Comments
what replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
This is for a Raw title match. There's quite a bit of time between now and Vengeance. -
Ugh, Cena is the most over guy in the company. Why don't people understand this? His fan support is not dying down any time soon.
-
I think Christian is a guy who shows should be based around. He's so much more interesting than HHH.
-
Maybe because HHH and Batista are fighting on Sunday and in the middle of a feud?
-
Switch Batista/HHH and Piper's Pit and I agree.

Million Dollar Man's, The Quebecers, Hogan's WWF and heel WCW (voodoo child was really cool, i loved hogan's entrances), Rick Rude's WCW, Sting's original WCW, Razor Ramon's, nWo's C team entrances (the one Muta got)

but the WWE is a Pro-Wrestling Company. your saying the only way fans will be able to see any kind of wrestling at all is by paying for it?. If there arn't any matches on Raw or SmackDown than there will be no reason for fans to attend the events or watch their programs. taking away matches on a wrestling show is really a dumb idea IMO. might aswell not have a ring on the shows than. You're a bit of a fucking idiot, aren't you? and judging by some of the bullshit you came up with in this thread, your calling me a fucking idiot? so I misread your post. calm fucking down. I didn't go down that path with you, don't go down that path with me. IZZ PRO WRESTLER LIKE BABY RUFF? You shouldn't be telling anyone about bad posts ever, dude.

I WUD COMPARE DA UNDATAKA TO BASEBALL PLAYER BUT THERE NO PLAYER GOOD NUFF! Terrible post.
-
Don't compare Hogan to HHH. Hogan was 10x the star HHH is.
-
MAY BEE IF DA UNDERTAKER WAS GIVEN A 30 MONTH TITLE REIGN BUY RATEZ WOULD SOAR?!? HHH will be the center of the show until HHH retires/dies/suffers a career ending injury/whatever. And while that is occuring, wrestling will never be hot again.
-
The only way I see another boom period happening is if HHH suffered a career ending injury. As long as he's around, he's going to stay the #1 guy on Raw and nobody will discover wrestling if HHH is the top dog.

The point was that Hunter got chance after chance after chance to try and get over, even when the fans still weren't taking to him at all. If everyone got that kind of effort, things would be a whole lot better. By late 1996-1997, HHH was pretty over as he was straying from that blue blood shit and was becoming more of an arrogant heel. In 1995, he was Godwinn fodder. And I always liked Rhyno. He was never going to be a main eventer in the WWE but could have been a credible monster if they kept pushing him like they did when he first came in. He wasn't a typical WWE hoss but his gimmick made up for that.

How I'd do the draft. To Raw: Angle, The Undertaker, Heidenreich, Charlie Haas, Big Show To Smackdown: Christian, Tajiri, Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho That way Batista can be given hosses to feud with, Haas and Benjamin can reunite, Eddie/Benoit/Jericho/Christian/Booker/RVD could put on great matches and have entertaining feuds, Angle can have more matches with HBK and a Cena/Orton match can be built up to next WrestleMania.

Generally speaking, everybody brings something of their own to the show sooner or later. Either ring skill, or mic skill, or both. RVD brought his self-styled offense and arguably a new type of laid-back cocky on-screen personality that could be seen as cool instead of heelish. Raven has been spoken of so many times as a guy with great ring talent (although I don't see it myself) when he feels like using it, and there's no denying he's got a unique style on the mic. Rhyno, on the other hand, is the most easily identifiable case of "go out and do what Paul tells you to do while Paul works the crowd into reacting to you." In the WWE, the guy's lone marketable phrase is more commonly associated with Paul than with him. He is the Heyman equivelant to every generic big guy the WWE puts on our TVs because they're sure that they can book anyone to get cheered or booed by the crowd as long as they're put over strongly enough. Except that in WWE, whenever they remember that they can't make the crowd WANT to see a guy no matter how strongly he's booked, they put that guy on Heat. In ECW, that guy gets a World title. Yeah, because absolutely nobody ever wanted to see Rhyno in ECW

Your posts are for the most part stupid and annoying. Evil McMahon or not, with the Rock and Austin leading the WWF, they weren't going to fail.

That joke doesn't work when there are only two titties dumbass. The number of tits is irrelevant to the joke, therefore the joke works. It's not a "tits:thumbs down" relationship (cf. the Simpsons "worst rating ever: 7 thumbs up" joke). You need to STFU because you've obviously never seen the Chappelle's Show where the joke was used. He did fuck the joke up.
