Wrestlemania 1: Wendi Richter vs. Lelani Kai (Woman's Title Match) - Nothing outstanding from the first Wrestlemania so I figure that I'd put this on here because I can't think of any women's wrestling classics from any WrestleMania. Wrestlemania 2: Don Muraco vs. Paul Orndorff - Filler. Liked both of these guys and there's nothing else to put on here from Wrestlemania 2. Wrestlemania 3: Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat (IC Title) - One of the greatest matches of all time. Wrestlemania 4: Rick Rude vs. Jake Roberts - This would be my chance to get Rude on the card and he's one of my favorites of all time. Same for Roberts. I loved their feud. Wrestlemania 5: Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard beat Tito Santana & Rick Martel - Wanted to get the Brain Busters on here. And if I remember, this was the match where Martel turned and became the Model. Historic shit. Wrestlemania 6: Bad News Brown vs. Roddy Piper - Wanted to get Piper on the card and I really liked Bad News Brown. Enjoyed their feud too. Wrestlemania 7: Virgil vs. Ted Dibiase - Had to get the Million Dollar Man on and there were no better choices. Wrestlemania 8: The Bushwhackers vs. The Beverly Brothers - This will be the necessary dark match/opener to warm the crowd up. Oh, those Bushwhackers and their wacky antics! Wrestlemania 9: Mr. Perfect vs. Lex Luger - I forget how this match was but I needed to get Perfect on the card. I remember the Headshrinkers/Steiners match being good but not good enough to take Perfect's spot away. Wrestlemania 10: Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart - My second favorite match of all-time (next to Bret/Taker from Summerslam 1997). Can't see having a Super Wrestlemania without it. Wrestlemania 11: LT vs. Bam Bam Bigelow - Not a bad match and a celebrity has to make it on here somewhere. Plus, this was a horrible WrestleMania. Wrestlemania 12: The Undertaker vs. Diesel - I remember really liking this match when it happened. It probably sucked but I must have liked the buildup or something. Diesel really started to shine toward the end of his WWF run with a heel turn. Wrestlemania 13: HHH vs. Goldust - I don't remember this match but both guys were very good workers so I'm sure it wasn't bad. Another case of having other guys tied up for the future. Wrestlemania 14: Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels (World Title) - Great match with great buildup. Started the beginning of the Austin era. Would main event this card. Wrestlemania 15: Bob Holly vs. Al Snow vs. Billy Gunn (Hardcore Title) - There has to be a Hardcore match doesn't there? Wrestlemania 2000: Dudley Boyz vs. Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian (Tag Team Title TLC) - Hell of a spotfest. Three extremely over teams in their prime. Great match. Wrestlemania 17: Eddie Guerrero vs. Test (European title) - Necessary to get all the titles onto the show. And Eddie too. WrestleMania 18: The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan - Would be my favorite match of all-time if Hogan would have won. Awesome match. WrestleMania 19: Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle (WWE Title) - Going with the two world title defenses theme. This would be the co-main event. Good match. Had to get both guys on here. WrestleMania 20: Cruiserweight Invitational (Cruiserweight Title) - Only to get all the titles on the card. Shit, that was tough work.

Yeah, I'm sure you'd kick Steph right out of bed. Not up to your standards! No no.

because they had women that actuallly could wrestle, Jazz and Gail Kim and they dropped them so these bims can come in and twirl their pigtails and skip down to the ring. if women wrestling sucks then guess we know why trish molly and victoria matters to you... dag nabbit jethro look at them hooties yeeeaahhhawwwww Gail Kim was a shitty wrestler. Jazz was so unattractive that putting her on TV was almost always a bad idea. Nidia was also a shitty wrestler. The WWE should use its women as valets/T&A with the rare (very rare) women's match done to settle a feud. And shouldn't you be off defending Undertaker's awful WrestleMania commerical and the Taker/Heidenreich "classics"?
-
Well, since he took Douglas's gimmick, he should mean something to H. HHH has always, to me, been a poor man's Douglas. Douglas was never boring to me like HHH is now.

Christy didn't come off bad in the interview. I didn't hear her lose to the 11 year old in trivia though. Women's wrestling generally sucks and the three womens wrestlers who were worth a shit (Victoria, Molly, Trish) are still employed. But people just have to bitch about everything, I guess.

Great thread. I'm jonesin for some Macho Man. Could one of you guys post some of his stuff? Most specifically the Hogan/Savage match from Wrestlemania V.

No longer exists.

I'm not even a Hogan FAN you fool. It's just that I, unlike you, don't let bias get in the way of determining whether a match is good or not. Once again, you don't try to show WHY the matches aren't good. I request you leave. Don't reply again. Yeah, I'm not a big Hogan fan but by the end of that match, I was Hulkamaniac #1. That was a great fuckin match. I don't see how you can be a wrestling fan and not love that match. Although, I think it did need more HBK.
-
It's not that Austin's overrated. It's just that he's not HBK. HBK HBK HBK HBK

Hogan shud b mor liek Benwa then he cud have gud match !

Raw to SD: Orton Jericho Benoit Val Venis Hurricane SD to Raw: Angle Undertaker Heidenreich Big Show Charlie Haas Trade afterward: Tajiri and Rosey for Reigns and Jindrak This would allow for a lot of hosses to feed to Batista on Raw and give John Cena a chance at a successful title reign on SmackDown by being able to feud with guys who aren't as limited as Show and Taker. Haas and Venis could compete for the IC and US titles easily with a fresh start. And there could be a series of Michaels/Angle matches.

What does a movie spoof have to do with being champions? Humongus wouldn't be happy unless RVD held every title in the WWE.

It was a combination draw even though the Hogan/Sid match was the last match of the night, I believe.
-
Anyone who says Benoit was presented strongly must not have watched must Raw last year. It was undenyable when the focus for the Benoit/HHH Vengeance match was on Eugene not on Benoit that he was being booked as a second tier champion.

Yeah, Trips will give it up so he can win it back and keep working toward Flair's record.

Both challengers can't win. This is one of those 'diminishing by compositing' things. JBL has been champ 9 months, so two more months won't hurt things, and hopefully Cena taking the title is 'special' enough to focus the next SD only PPV around. It would mean a lot more than to expose SD for the B-show that it is by having him win a midcard match that'd be forgotten by the end of the night. Cena can wait. Batista, on the other hand, has to win the title at WM 21. They just can't afford to have Triple H holding the title at the end of the pay per view. Sure, they let a heel retain at WM 2000 when the WWF could do no wrong and could take those risks, but things have changed. They can't piss off that much of their fanbase on the biggest night of the wrestling year. If both challengers don't win, WrestleMania will be a disaster.

His reign was horribly mis-booked after the first few months. They made him look like shit. Gave Eugene the #1 face spot over him.

You know they've already lost money once during the past 5 years, right? You know that once they incur the costs of the film projects they will more-than-likely post a loss as well, right? Because of the XFL and Resturant. And WWE Films should make them money.
-
There's no way they'd lose Raw and Smackdown. The ratings are just too good. Even if they drop below 3.0, a company will still want them because that's still a top 10 cable rating. People said there was no way WCW would lose Nitro either. It can happen, if Vince or Kevin Dunn goes that little bit too far with some crazy angle. And regardless of what ratings Raw or SD get, if something insane happens that sees WWE image drop, it won't matter what ratings they get. WCW was apart of huge Time Warner and bleeding all kinds of money. If the WCW was an entity like the WWE is today, they could have easily gotten on to another network. Barring something unbelievably ridiculous happening, the WWE isn't losing television. If they keep pouring money into shit like movies, football and resturants while neglecting development with the writing continuing to suck and guys like Benoit, Jericho, Christian, Batista, Edge, etc. retiring, that's when they'll fold. They have 5-10 years, easy, before they start losing money.

The only way the WWE folds is when the talent well runs dry. It's ridiculous how little money the WWE puts to developmental when the long term future of the WWE is so dependant on that.

Yeah, I wonder how much money Vince is blowing on his movie division. The guy just cannot accept that outside of wrestling, he is the biggest business moron of them all. Wrestling- Marketing genius Other- you are better off buying stock in Billy Beer The good thing is he has 250 million, the bad news is his projects are getting bigger in terms of spent money. Bodybuilding- Cheap football- little more costly movies- very costly What's next? WWE Airlines? I don't think the movies are nearly as bad of an investment as the XFL or the resturant.

hahaha, watch as HHH beats Batista cleanly at Wrestlemania

Eddie would have to "go straight" in order to become a heel. Turning on Rey would confuse the fuck out of the audience and be a disaster.
