If America does ever get nuked, Canada is fucked too. Radiation fallout can be carried for hundreds of miles on the wind. And nobody ever said that ICBMs had perfect pinpoint accuracy. Toronto isn't that far from the border.

Stop stealing my gimmick, Czechy. I've got a cat who's, uh, I dunno, maybe about 12. She's got a couple of small bald patches under her chin and around her ears, and is generally kinda cranky and listless, but shows no overt signs of aging.

Yeah. In the comic, Constantine is a blond Englishman who used to be a punk rocker, is bisexual, almost always ends up getting all of his friends killed, and is generally a self-described "nasty piece of work". He's not a gung-ho action hero, he's a coldblooded manipulator who depends as much on luck and lies as he does actual magic. The Hellblazer series depends heavily on its setting in London, its backstory of old English occultism and its various weird British characters. I haven't seen the movie, but I just can't imagine it taking place in LA with Ted Neodore Logan and being anything like the comic.

That movie was before he got REAL fat.

No, it's my fault, as usual. Muggy shoulda never said yes to that Three On Tue thing with me being involved. Rando, stock up on canned food and shotguns, cuz apparently you're next. -
T-Mobile needs to update their security systems, stat. I hope the chick was underage. Durst deserves all the shit that the universe might pile on him. swan, isn't it against board rules to have a naked chick in your avatar?

Some people just don't like anyone that damn weird. A clown is dressed in garish clothes, bizarre makeup, are usually real loud and obnoxious, and specialize in often-cruel practical jokes. Perfect nightmare fuel for the average kid. Interesting side note: Matt Borne once told me that his real inspiration for Doink was Cesar Romero as the Joker on the old Batman TV show.

Tough call, cuz they're both damn good, but had some differences in between them. Cornette "entertained" me more of the two. He was funnier, had better one-liners, and generally stooged and overacted more than Heenan did. He was also the better commentator in my opinion, since Bobby tended to make jokes and put himself over while Corny tried to stress the importance of the matches and the angles in between his funnies. However, Cornette always seemed like he was just trying too damn hard; a streak of insincerity ran thru everything he ever did or said. Heenan was much more realistic; he got you to genuinely believe that he really was that kind of quick-witted asshole. He was more understated and subtle in his managing, doing much less of the goofy scenery-chewing that Cornette favored. (To put it another way: which guy could you see as a cornerman for a boxer?) He was also a far superior bumper, willing to launch himself right onto his permanently-broken neck at the drop of a hat. So, to sum up: I prefer Cornette behind the camera, and Heenan in front of it.

<--- really likes Tori Amos IDRM, the song you're thinking of is "Leather".

It's not a joke. Example: The only wrestling show I've been to in the past few months. One of the matches was much better than all the others. I waited around to talk to the guys involved afterwards, just to congratulate them on the great performance. While I'm talking to him, his girlfriend (pissed off and tired of waiting in the lobby) charges into the room and starts a screaming argument that is obviously a prelude to their breaking up. Tell me I'm not fucking cursed.

What, there were people who didn't know that Hussy=Banky? The sad part is, I HAVE gotten the best ending, the frog ending, and the secret ending. I don't know if that disqualifies me from being able to laugh at CronoT, or if it gives me special VIP laughing privileges.

Unfortunately, I've never gotten around to buying much old Jumbo stuff. But what I have (mostly tag matches against people like the Funks or Brody/Hansen) does support the people who list him as one of the best of all time. Damn, but sometimes it seems like that guy could do anything, possessing amazing grace and speed despite his size, which for a Japanese man was proportionately equivalent to being the Undertaker.

This afternoon, in front of my patio, I found this

Anyone who remembers that one story I posted in General a loooooong time ago knows that there are some demonic goddamned squirrels on this planet. -
I drove to the grocery store yesterday afternoon and POW bye-bye rear passenger tire for no apparent reason. This is the first time I've gotten on the computer since then. So if my absence is why the gimmick failed... my bad. Apparently my Touch Of Death has an even wider range than I thought.

There is an appalling lack of shoutouts for TRITEC in this thread. Does anyone else miss both Marney and Alina? Anyone else remember when Dames had a girlfriend who posted here? Whatever happened to that Indigo chick?

The fact that I'm a Libra is the only thing I'm sure about... which further reinforces that I'm a Libra.

What's that album in your avatar? Who's that guy in your sig? Why Little Mermaid?

...people are arguing over different interpretations of my words now? Wow. Between this and my ability to cause death & destruction wherever I go, I'm like a Bible made into flesh.

The first MSG gets a bad rap because of what massive disappointments the sequels were. It's still a damn fine game.

Monster: 7/10 Still not sure how I feel about this one. On the one hand, it's a very well-crafted movie and Charlize Theron deserved all those accolades for her gripping performance. HOWever, the movie is a very subtle Hollywoodization of the real story. (The real-life girlfriend looked nothing like Christina Ricci, for one thing.) Ignorant viewers might come out of this film thinking that poor ol' Eileen was just misunderstood, and not the batshit-crazy cold blooded murderess that she really was.

Well, at least it sounds like much less of a disaster than all those ludicrous Christian-themed shows that Sting is always working. Who was Joshua?

I'd try to do something constructive with a suicide note if I snuffed myself. Like, claim that Vince Russo had been breaking into my house and molesting me for years and I just couldn't take it anymore.
