It's just that Britney projects the image of "naive young kid who is out of control and doesn't know better", which is a helluva lot more sympathetic than J-Lo's rep of "calculating greedy egomaniacal perfectionist bitch". As for the marriage: who the fuck cares? She still doesn't write or play most of her own material (or even sing it, depending upon your level of conspiracizing) so I doubt it'll have any effect on her music, her videos, or any other part of the entire world.

I don't know, when they released Version 3.0 is about when my interest in gaming waned. I think there was a 3-part novel series about solving the whole assassination, but I stopped buying the books once Nigel Findley died and the rest of their good authors seemed to just disappear, replaced by random hacks. Or a semi-strapping semi-balding twentysomething, anyway; and I'm sure her English is better than my German (about half of which I learned from repeated viewings of Das Boot.)

The writer gives the artist the general outline of what to draw: along the lines of, "Cyclops blasts a Sentinel" or "Rogue and Gambit bitch and moan about their relationship in an angsty way for ten pages". It's up to the artist to fill in the details and make that outline come to life. Although some writers are more controlling than others, it just depends on the individual team.

That game's had a bunch of different titles, but it's usually just called Kung-Fu. It was one of my old favorites both in the arcade and on the NES. You take your generic fighting guy, Thomas, and brawl through five levels of a giant pagoda to rescue your girlfriend Sylvia from Mr. X. My favorite opponent was the Magician on the fourth floor; if you jump-kicked him it DECAPITATED him, but his head grew back and it did no damage. Heh. Fun memories. ...yeah, like I said in the cosplay thread, I wasted a LOT of my youth on gaming.

Most entertaining match ever? Oh, that's easy: the Lex Luger/Bruiser Brody cage match from Florida in '87, where Brody just no-sold and beat the SHIT out of Flexy Lexy. I don't know if HBK/HHH HIAC was any good or not... both times I tried to watch it, I fell asleep halfway through. Oh, and I wouldn't describe any of CM Punk's movie-length matches as "entertaining". Biologically impressive, sure; enjoyable on a popcorn level, hell no.

I've certainly enjoyed my share of questionable chemicals, to the point of having problems at times, but nobody ever forced me to do them. The ultimate responsibility lies with the user. On the other hand, you can blame a dealer for selling to someone who's obviously hardcore addicted to the stuff.

Right now in TN and GA it's hovering around 1.90. Which is weird, considering that a few weeks ago it was down to 1.70; why would it be higher now, with all the prices down?

Looks like a fairly decent set. I wish they'd put commentaries on more of them, but oh well, you take what you can get with these deals. I'm guessing that the last three Jason movies aren't included because of some copywright/ownership problem?

I'd say Angle's best match ever was the one with Austin at Summerslam '01 was close, but still no cigar. Having a non-clean finish pretty much disqualifies any match from being considered for all-time greatness. (Not unfairly trashing Kurt, he's one of my favorite American wrestlers today, but he hasn't ever had that one definitive match.)
