I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss KVH. JYD is hilarious. Houston's new name? H-2-0.
-
So I was looking at this site, www.82games.com, which is a stat site about the starting rotations for each team in the NBA. And out of ALL the Knick rotations, look which has the best +/- in points. Marbury-Crawford-Ariza-Sweetney-Williams + 21 or Marbury-Crawford-Hardaway-K.Thomas-Mohammed +23 Notice something? NO TIM THOMAS. The starting five, with Thomas, is -8.
-
Seriously, FUCK Tim Thomas. Let JYD start.
-
100 walks in 172 innings? Jesus Christ.
-
RJ, Moose, Pavano, Wright, Ishii and Brown in middle relief! The hell? How does Ishii have a 4.71 ERA when he gave up only 155 hits in 172 IP?
-
Yes, thats what I meant. Anyhow, the stories next year for Yanks Sox is going to be crazy. Schilling/RJ, Wells in NY, Empire Strikes Back, ect ..
-
Wouldn't that just show the D-Backs were really stupid, more than the Sox being smart?
-
I didn't look at his stats, but I've always heard he was very inconsistent in Chicago. I guess the wind could have a lot to do with it, but playing in Boston can't be any easier.
-
Wow. Yankees/Sox stuff next year is going to be AWESOME.
-
Sox get Clement. Oh well. He couldn't handle Chicago, theres no way he can handle Boston, right!?
-
Knicks, down by 19 in the 3rd, come back and get it down to two, thanks to Stephon Marbury. So, what do they do with a chance to tie? They give it to Houston, who airballs it, as the Knicks lose. EDIT: Houston redeams himself, and hits the game tieing three. BTW, Jerome Williams is a FUCKING beast. Seriously. This guy is so good on D, such a good teamate, and had decent offense too. Why did Tornoto let go of him?
-
So, basically, who gets the worst out of it $$$ wise? I know all you have to do is minus the money from what each team got from who they gave up, but I'm to lazy to do that.
-
Question. Are the Yankees paying Javy's contract? If they aren't doesn't that mean they save a ton of money?
-
Do the Mets play the Sox next year? God thats gonna be fun when it happens. Awesome interview btw, the whole managment conspiracy thing was hinted at.
-
Schilling is just as good as Johnson and much better in the post-season. Wells I'd take over Pavano for one season, easily. When healthy, he's great in a big game I'll give you Mussina over Clement But I'd rather have Arroyo then Jarett Wright, and the 5th starter is pretty irrelevant on big offensive teams. Just has to be decent and you're fine. If Pavano plays well, Yanks have a slight edge(Saying Boston gets Clement), but nothing unbeatable. If your going to consider Pavano a one year wonder, then can't I argue Arroyo might turn out to be a bust aswell?
-
If Green uses his no trade clause, NY is going to riot.
-
I don't see how that is posssible, even with Clement. Schilling, Wells, Clement, Arroyo and Wake over RJ, Moose, Pavano, Wright and Brown? No way.
-
Phew. That was a close one. And on the Beltran issue, if we happen not to get him, which I doubt we won't, is Atlanta really serious on trading Andruw Jones for Kevin Brown (we pay part of Brown's salary obviously)? God I hope so.
-
Site won't load, but if it says it isn't happening, it is. ESPNews is saying right now the "cold feet" thing was bull, and he wants to NY.
-
How? Not like we need any more offense. The D is a key factor, but were not going to DIE with Bernie in CF. Honestly, Torre should put Bernie in rleft, and move Matsui to center.
-
I hope we gave up Grahman. My god was he horrible. We give him a 9-0 in his first start, and he blows it.
-
If you didn't look at the money issues, or the fact that any of the players were declining, if you told a Arizona fan they'd hve signed Consuel, Clayton, Sexon, Ortiz, and gotten Brazylton, Green and Penny in trades, they'd be pretty happy. But if you look at the big picture, they overpaid a pitcher on the decline, an injury prone 1st baseman, and gotten a VERY injury prone SP. I know you can't tell by September, but Navarro hit very nicely in the ABs he had. Duncan on the otherhand, I don't think was called up.
-
I was too very angry with the Knick loss. Buts its not like they blew the game late because of their play. The lead got put down to like five near the end of the 4th quarter. The Knicks held off the Pistons for the WHOLE 4th quarter. Being a Knick fan and all, I was waiting for someone to miss a couple shots, and for Detroit to go on a run to take the lead. But we hit all our shots, until Kurt missed a key free throw, and dumbass Crawford took a horrible shot.

Moose has defintley earned his stripes. Hes basically been the stopper against Pedro since he came to the Yankees. I swear they faced each other like five times on year, with Moose winning them all. Moose won game three in the 01 ALDS at Okaland, saving our season. Saved our lives against Sox in 03 ALCS with the awesome relief work. Was the stopper in the playoffs this year, should have beat Santana, nearly no hit the Sox in game one, and should have won game five at Fenway. Hes defintley earned his pinstripes.

There's the sell for the Subway Series next year.
