Not exactly. Added Torre: "I'm a positive person, but after a while it was hard to be positive. We were beating ourselves, basically."

I don't understand what happened to Prinz. He started the season off so good. Now he can't get ANYBODY out.
-
meh, we've still got 4 innings to come back. EDIT: Nevermind, were done.
-
Strurtze fucking gives up five runs on a walk, wild pitch, balk and a three run homer, and were losing 8-3. unbelievable.
-
This is patheic. We have 8 hits through 4 innings, and we have two runs. We've already left like 10 guys on base already.

Brian Anderson is the luckiest pitcher alive. Jeter gets a hard hit single, A-Rod has a hard hit double, Sheff has a lazer groundout, and Posada hits a lazer grounding into a DP and we don't score. ugh. EDIT: With a runner on second, Olerud hits a ball going into center for a hit. Luckily, it hits Anderson in the foot, and goes right to the shortstop. Then Sierra hits a rocket, but it goes RIGHT to the CFer. Jesus christ.

On Fox today, they said Coughlin fined Straham of all people for showing up at 3:23, at a meeting that started at 3:25. what an ass.

So the Sox absoltley murder Okland, Anaheim and Texas going 8-1 against them. Then they go 2-2 against Seattle. Baseball, such a odd sport.
-
For us against the Sox, if the rotation stays the same, it'll be El Duque, then Lieber, then Hasley. But I think Mussina might take his spot that day.
-
Sheff comes up huge again. Man, it seems like everytime where tied in the 9th inning, he hits a home run.
-
I happy with the offense so far. Warner's looked pretty good.
-
Man, my Giants might have the worst D ever.
-
A-Rod is like a completley different player in the 2nd hole. And Sheff, well, he just hits the ball really really hard.
-
If I'm Kurt Warner, I'm already in agony. And the game hasn't even started.
-
The thing is, he's better in clutch situations. Yes he blew one game against the Sox, but he always gets the job done. One game comes to me from earlier this year. Yankees lead 5-4 against Okland in Okland in the 9th. Rivera gives up a walk and a hit to start the inning, with Chavez and Dye coming up. He struck them both out. Then theirs the 2nd game of the series where they swept the Sox. Yankees take a 2 run lead in the 9th, and Rivera strikes out the side on like 11 pitches. I don't care if he gives up more hits, or more walks and less strikeouts. He gets the job done, and thats why hes still the best in the biz.

That's because hes throwing the two seemer this season. And who cares how many base runners get on base as long as they don't score? Sounds like more of a statement to be "kool" by making fun of the Yankees, despite being as good as they were last year in the W-L columns. They lead the league in home runs for the first time in decades, but the pitching, like mentioned, hasn't been too great, even from Mariano Rivera, the best closer in the majors, has been having a little more trouble this year than years past. Mo's had his like best year ever. He doesn't K guys as much, but he still gets the job done. He had under 1.00 ERA for like 2/3rds of the season, and he only has like a 1.84 ERA. He has47 saves, only three blown. He's struggled once during this entire season, the two blown saves in a row against the Sox and Jays. Other than a cheap hrmer by Benji Molina, he's been awesome.

I can't believe Edmonds doesn't win. I swear, every freakin time I turn on Sports Center, I see him and that retarded cocky swing bomb a home run.
-
Soriano should have had 40/40, but he choked and went like the last two weeks of the season with 39 HRs.
-
3-0. jesus christ. Will they ever fucking lose?
-
Please Okland, just win one!
-
Consider this. His first start was against the Dodgers, in LA, in front of 50,000 people and he pitched good, 5 two 3rds, one run. His second start, against the Mets, in Yankee Stadium, in front of 50,000, he pitched bad. Then he pitches in front of 55,000 against the Sox. So he pitched goos 2 out of three times.

Whats wrong with Halsey? The whole extra inning part of the Sox/Yanks 13 inning game this year overshadows the first part, in which Halsey outpiched Pedro.
-
I don't really care anymore. Were winning 5-1. And not to brag or anything, but and lineup change Joe has made latley turns to gold. First Jeter, now A-Rod.
