Thanks to Charlie Manuel for taking Abreu AND Howard out of the lineup against ultra unhittable Randy Johnson.

Its just utterly pathetic he explodes and dies once he hit the 6th inning, regardless of his pitch count.

Wright and Chacon suck so much at even given the Yankees innings, that Torre has been forced to stick Wang in between them to rest the bullpen. I can give Chacon some slack because hes only had two starts since coming of the DL, but Wrights been fine for awhile now and for some reason can't build up enough stamina to get through even 6 innings. And while everyone continues to say Wang is a fluke, I think its been proved that he really isn't. Hes not going to K alot of people, but he gets so many ground balls, and his BABIP has stayed the same, that I really think hes going to continue being a good number 3 guy in the MLB.

    2006 NBA Finals

Anybody hear Wade's postgame interview? Damn did his cousin prepare him for that foul shot.

And A-Rod can't get the game winning RBI. Guy can't catch a break.

Wang really needs to get through the 9th easily. Proctor, Farnsworth AND Mo can't pitch today.

Was Torre just straight up not paying attention when he brought Rivera in to the 8th inning (....for the second day in a row...) with the pitcher's spot due up 3rd in the top of the 9th. Really, who else was there to pitch? Farnsworth can't, and Villones been overworked.

    World Cup 2006 in Germany

Ahh that sucked. US is pretty much dominating until that one goal. I'm not a big soccer fan but to me Eddie Pope blows.

Can we not get on the Yankees about hitting people? That had to be done. I'm sick of Giambi and Jeter and Damon getting injured every fucking day because teams throw at them inside.

6-3 and we've hit the Indians bullpen in the 7th, not so meaningless yet.

Todd Hollonsworth!?!?! just hit a 3 run HRer into the black seats in Yankee Stadium. I'm not suprised, Mussina had a rough patch coming after the amazing start he had this year.

Robinson Cano continues to suprise me. Yes I did bash him last week, but hes picked up the power a bit lately, and continues to hit and and hit and hit. He had 3 more hits tonight and his average is up to about .330.

HAHAHA, A-Rod sucking ass is really starting to become enjoyable, which is sad coming from a Yankee fan.

Atleast Damon and Cabrera aren't injured, right?

    TWIB: June 5-11

I'm not blaming Prctor at all I just can't find any logic in Torre taking out Villone.
  24. mike546

    TWIB: June 5-11

Why IN THE WORLD did Torre take the lefty Villone and his 2 ERA out, to bring in the righty, overworked, Scott Prctor whos been killed by EVERYONE latley to face TWO LEFTIES IN A ROW!?
