And they get nothing. UGH.

HOW WAS THAT NOT A BALK!?

I am getting sick of watching Robinson Cano ground out to 2nd every damn AB. His .300 average is the emptiest .300 average I've ever seen.
-
Mike Rouse!?!? christ.
-
I had that written in before he flied out, I'm shocked that he didn't.
-
I had to listen to that game on the radio, I still remember Charlie Steiner's "ITS A TRIPLE PLAY!" call, and the ensuing 5 minute disccusion between him and Sterling to figure out why it wasn't.
-
Yep, that game was freaking ridiculous, I still get chills when I watch it. It must have been an aboslute GUT PUNCH to Sox fans, lossing the game on back to back to back hits by Sierra, Cairo, and JOHN FLATHERY win two outs to lose the game. Plus, Jetes play, plus the "ITS A TRIPLE PLAY!!", that actually wasn't, plus Halsley/Pedro, plus Cairos leadoff triple and the amount of glove switching that the Sox did, plus Nomar sitting on the bench like a little bitch, and plus just the incredible stuff that happened in that game.

Brad Halsey is pitching. Brad Halsey. Has anyone ever had a more stressful start to his career? Three starts back to back to back on national TV against the Dodgers, Mets, and Red Sox pitching for the Yankees? I'll always be thankful for that last start.
-
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He's done. getting killed by a lineup without Crosby or Chavez!?!? And even with those two, this lineup still sucks.
-
Bobby Kielty!?!? ANYONIO PEREZ!?!? Even Kay thought that was pathetic.
-
That obviously doesn't effect the uneffectiveness of Randy Johnson.
-
Actually, I do. I remember a discussion about it with someone making a list of the amount of times Jeter came up with the tying run on base or him up as the tying run in the 9th inning.
-
Look, if he was clutch, like Jeter whos batting something like .400 with RISP this year, I wouldn't say anything. its just fairly obvious this guy can't do anything when we need him. i.e, him making an error to give the sox the lead.
-
I'll bet anyone a dollar A-Rod drives in a meaningless RBi in the 9th.
-
Jesus christ, I have never seen such a bigger choker in big situations, whether it be hitting or fielding, than A-Rod. unreal.
-
Jarret Wright shouldn't even come out for the 6th inning anymore. He just pathetically is exhausted and uncapable of getting outs after the 5th inning.

MELKY MUTHERFUCKING CABRERA!!!!!!

Anything Bernie doess well gets a curtain call.
-
Lets see him get through five first, alright?
-
The game isn't on YES if your trying to watch it on that channel. Its on the local UPN channel in NY.

Josh (NYC): Joe- Since you know a thing or two about playing 2B, what are your thoughts on Cano? Can he make the all-star team this year? Joe Morgan: I don't see him nearly enough. I will see him Wed.-Thu. this week. What I have seen I really like. The ball jumps off his bat. I've never seen him make a mental mistake in the field. I like him but I still think he has some things to learn on defense. But he will be a great player. I've never taken Joe Morgan seriously but does he even WATCH baseball!? Cano's like biggest problem so far as a MLBer has been his lack of concentration in the field and the fact hes prone to make mental mistakes.

What was the Yankees 96 roation? Pettite ( Mussina equivilent now), Cone, Jimmy Key, and Kenny Rogers? I think the rotation is better now but of course with Wettland and Rivera it was basically a 6 inning game if we were winning that year.

Question to basically everyone. The Yankees without Sheff and Matsui obviously lose power and everything else those two bring to the table. But is there anyway that the Yanks are actually BETTER off with Cabrera and Phillips and Cairo who are younger and have speed and can still hit. The addition of these guys have made the Yanks a lot less one dimensional when it comes to scoring. I'm really wondering if this is all just an abreviation and the loss of Matsui and Sheff are going to start killing this team or is is really true the Yanks are better off without them?

HORCOFF ROBBED AGAIN! Wow, what a fucking game.

MELKY FUCKING CABRERA!
