After he fucking threw 6 shutout innings against the Mets with an RBI in his first ever start.
-
Unless the deal is for a young cheap, great hitter, and a young, cheap, great pitcher, or basically a no brainer absolute ownage trade, Hughes isn't going anywhere.
-
Hey Aaron Small, thanks for last year, but you officially SUCK again.
-
The relivers suck because they are all over worked because the starters don't pitch deep into games.
-
All these injuries have actually helped in a way, as this team is a LOT less relient on HRs, and more on singles and doubles and moving runners over. I'm not saying they are a "small ball" team, their just a lot less relient on HRs.
-
Please Farnsworth. Don't suck.
-
Jeter = clutch. Hes batting around .400 with RISP by now.
-
Please Farnsworth. Please. Three out, no runs, please.
-
Oh, heres another one. Who the hell is Darrell Ranser?
-
But most of those players are injured too. Damon's playing wih a broken toe, Posada with a torn tendon in his knee, Giambi with his assortment of injuries, and Jeter with his hand. This team is a walking bandaid.

While trying to tie his shoe! Yet somehow, this team keeps winning with the Phillips, Cabreras, Ericksons, Cairos ect .. being a part of the daily day lineup and pitching.

The best team in baseball is the Tigers? Hmmm.

OK under that criteria, the Charles Smith Memorial Game killed any chance the Knicks ever had of beating the Jordan Bulls, and I think they would have easily won the NBA title that year. That or John Starks being allowed to go 2 for 18, 0 for 11 from 3 game against the Rockets. Riley's reluctance to pull him ended the championship run because '99 was just an aberration. Or Ewing's missed layup against the Pacers.

While he hasn't shown HR power yet, Melky Caberea is doing an incredible job so far. I don't care if hes not hitting HRs yet, hes patient at the plate, doesn't strike out a lot, is improving in the outfield, went 4-6 tonight, and is now batting .328, with OBP around .400. Plus, Mariano goes 3 innings tonight for I'm guessing the first time since the 03 ALCS game 7.

Vernon Wells has EIGHT HRs in TEN games vs the Red Sox this year. wow.
-
Ehh, Pudge needed to make a perfect play to get him, that was a fine risk trying to steal a run.
-
Oh my god, another injury. Now its Cano. edit: Kyle Farnsworth = nutcase.
-
Oh well, atleast the Sox didn't get him.
-
Wade's super human 360 reverse layup thingy was UNREAL.
-
Yea, Marcus can't play defense for shit. His D literally almost caused UConn to be the victims of the biggest upset in college basketball history. Fortunatley, his passing and scoring skills are great.
-
Lets see him get his ERA below 5 first, shall we?
-
Slid into 2nd base and did something to his hand I think.

ESPN Classic is just a total waste of space. I am absolutley sick of watching 1930s boxing everyday for half the day, followed by old poker for the rest of the day. I just like wish they'd used recent classics once in awhile, or any like classic game. That channel is so frustrating because it has so much potential.
