The Rangers are going to be swept if Lundvist or Kaspar don't come back for the playoffs. They just suck right now. Atleast during the six game losing streak they just couldn't score but now they can't do anything right.

I'm not overreacting because Kaspar (really does have a huge huge impact on the D), Ruchinsky, Rucchin (no matter how mad he is hes still a 2nd line center whos better than Immomen or Moore) and Henrik have been out most of these games. The big difference between Lundvist and Weekes, beside the fact one is amazing and one sucks is that Lundvist doesn't allow rebounds, and when he does, he always is deflecting them to the corners. Hes basically like glue. Weekes on the otherhand is a wall with pucks coming off him right in front for easy rebound goals, which is because our D struggles most right in front of t5he net.

While I will admit to some bias as well (I am now, and always will be, a Thornton mark) ... but look at SJ's record before they traded for Thornton (8-12-4) and after they picked him up (34-14-7). Spearheading a 180-degree turnaround to a team's season is pretty much how I'd define having a Hart-calibre season. Yeah, Jagr has led the new-look NYR, but Nylander & Lundqvist are helping out a lot, too ... the people on SJ that are helping their turnaround are BECAUSE of Thornton, not just alongside him. I'm sorry, but Jagr is basically entirley responsible for the career seasons for Straka, Nylander and Prucha. It's all him. Rangers have also brought up Marc Staal from juniors, I think hes going to play tonight. edit: or not. He's have immagration peoblems from canada.

Just got home from school and noticed RJ went only 5 innings and threw only 87 pitches. Was he injured?

That pissed me off but honestly they were fucking awful tonight and just didn't show up for the first two periods. They made a shitty shitty Isles team look like a good regular NHL team. This reminded of the old days when the Rangers would be playing for the playoffs every night but STILL wouldn't show up. Now that last game in Philly is freaking GIGANTIC, when a win tonight basically clinches the division. A Islander win tomorrow, they beat us and bam were in the 5th seed.

I can't even complain about a loss tonight when we've got 3 rookies in the lineup, Ozo (whos basically worse in the D zone than any of the rookies), and Strudwick who's nothing better than a 7th Dman. These "supposed" injuries better be a ploy by Renny to get people rest or were fucked.

Just got back from the game it was really a blast. Wang looked great through four innings with nine groundball outs and just collapsed after that. Crowd LOVED Bernie until he made got caught in "Bernie land" and got caught off 2nd with the bases loaded. Then he got the hit in the 8th, Jeter hit the Hrer, the crowd went nuts and Mo closed it down. Sturtze is gonna be released soon I think, he just looked horrific out there.
