    Scoring the MLB Offseason

That's because most of the wins he pitched in were blowouts or blowouts that he fucked up and made into close games. He wasn't the worst though. The Wayne Frankylin, Tim Redding, Darrell May, and Felix Rodriguez's(Thanks for him Al) of the world were.

    This week in the NBA

I might have read your post wrong, but I'd say that Knick fans are the most realistic and smart fans when it comes to being a sports fan in NYC. To me, the Knicks could go either way. If Curry and Frye mature, then this team could get really really good. People can say this team can't win with Marbury, but it's not true. Give Marbury an actual "team" around him, and he'll make it work. Lee and Robinson aren't going to be superstars, but their going to be good role players. If Brown can get Crawford to play a complete game, which hes done somewhat, and all those other things happen, this will be a good team. If Frye and Curry stay average, this team is fucked beyond words with a payroll above the cap until forever, and with no chance at a lottery pick for the next two years. for now, I'll continue to not really care about winning, and just enjoy watching the rookies bring a shitload of energy, and a shitload of hope for the future.

Iggy's College Hoops Rankings for 01/16/05

UConn drops three spots without a loss? Nova doesn't drop below them even with a loss to a good team?

Comments that don't warrant a thread

How the hell did ANTHONY MASON lead the Knicks in win shares when Patrick Ewing and John Starts were in their prime in 96?

The loss of Kasapritas during warmups has killed the Rangers so far. Multiple times theres been multiple shots on Henrik in front of the net due to having only 5 dman dressed.

    College Hoops: 1/2/2006 - 1/15/2006

The MVP of the UConn team this year has been Hilton Armstrong. Everyone thinks Boone is a 1st round pick, and he still might be. But Armstrong is a really good defensive player too, and has a better offensive upside.

    This week in the NBA

Knicks win their 6th straight. I'm not sure if this winning streak is the team learning to play Larry's way, or Larry just letting the Knicks go out and play.

Center Ice has a free preview for the next week or so. And Jagr scores the game winning goal in OT on Messier night.

While I love the things that Straka and Ruchinsky and the czches have done for the Rangers, their pansy ass attempts at a power play are pathetic. SHOOT THE GOD DAMN PUCK!

Didn't he say he tried it once, but felt guilty and stopped? Or something like that.

I'm not going to try to convince you he doesn't deserve the Pearson....but I could be playing for the Senators instead of Alfredson and they'd still be the best team in the NorthEast. Jagr for Hart if the Rangers make the playoffs. You really need to have seen last night's game to see the impact he has on the team. They'd lost three of four when he was out, all against borderline or non-playoff teams, the power play stunk, no one was scoring...and then he comes back, puts up four points, they score seven times, the power play clicks again for three goals. It was like night and day. Alfredsson is the one player they cannot afford to lose this year -- with him, they're the odds-on favourite to win the Cup; without him, they're just another team in the top half of the league. While I agree with how important he is to Ottowa, the Sens are still a good team without him. Jagr has literaly (with Prucha) been carrying this team on his back for the entire season. Even when he's not scoring, he's setting everyone up and getting teamates scoring chances. Without Jagr playing at the level he is, no way in hell are the Rangers even at .500.

Knicks have won four in a row, and lead the Mavs by 14 after one quarter. Who are these guys?!?

Jagr. The Rangers are nothing without him. Nothing.

Drats was having a terrible year, and didn't look ready. I'm not sure about this trade. Drats could devlop into a good player, but the Rangers are stacked with good D prospects. Hopefully Sykora (another czech) can improve the scoring.

    NFL Playoffs

I think they obviously will at some point in the draft, but at this point, I'd think they use their first round pick on a CB.

    NFL Playoffs

They need help at CB and WR more.

    NFL Playoffs

I'm not angry at the D. I'm just saying it's hard to win games when arguabley 2/3rds of your D is either a replacement or sucks. Eli has sucked majorly. But it's not completley his fault. He's gotten no protection, and the recievers aren't getting open. edit: FFMS, the Giants have great rush d when healthy. Pierce, Emmons and Torbor were playing awesome, hell, even Chase Blackburn did a great job until getting injured. Thee three LBs starting today are Kevin Lewis (released in training camp, just signed two weeks ago), Alonzo Jackson (signed off Eagles practice squad I think), and Jay Foreman (signed last week off practice squad).

    NFL Playoffs

I really should have expected this. A team without its top 5 LBs, without its best corner, with sucky replacements, and a 2nd year QB in his first playoff start.

    NFL Playoffs

Way to choke, Eli. Wow has he blown up quickly.

And I think that'll end it. Thanks for showing up, Eli.
