Have fun with Millwoods arm problems for 4 or 5 years.

If the Yankees win a WS in 06 and/or 07, I doubt Yankee fans will care that much hes the next Bernie Williams in 08.

Where is this quality pitching coming from? Please, I'd like to know. Damon can catch the ball. The Yankees won 95 games with Bernie Williams and his pathetic fielding in CF. Damon has a lot more range than Bernie Williams. With Damon AND Jeter at the top of the lineup, they are going to score a shitload of runs.

He batted .167 in 18 ABs against Lieber, .250 in 44 ABs against Pettite, .241 in 87 ABs against Mussina, and a .118 average against RJ last year. I'd think its a coincidence, especailly for the fact he hits the ball to the opposite field a lot with the huge gaps at the Stadium.

I heard Arroyo for Jeremy Reed.

Yankees lose two draft picks though. What happened to rebuilding the farm system?

I'm still not sure what I think about this. He's 32, hes never been injury prone, but hes always playing hurt. He has no arm, but pretty good range in center. He'll be 36 at the end of this deal. Hmm.

Wow. I honestly thought they were just trying to make the Sox pay him more.

While tommy john surgery works for a lot of pitchers, it did basically kill any effectivness Steve Karsay had for the Yankees. Hopefully Dotel is different.

And the Ranger downfall begins. They just can't score at all anymore.

Yanks tendered Chacon and Small, but thats not suprising.

Honestly, is Jacque Jones that much better than Corey Patterson?

Yanks are close to signing Dotel to a 1 year deal. This worked with Lieber, and I hope it does again. I'm predicting hes setting up Mo by August.

Game winning TD. But still, KENT GRAHAM? God did the Giants have suck ass QBs in the 90s until Kerry Collins came to NY.

I was at that game actually. How in the hell did KENT GRAHAM beat a 13-0 Denver team?

My memory isn't that great, but wasn't the main reason for the US getting a silver in the last olympics was because Richter was standing on his head in goal?

I'll punch myself in the face if Graffanino has anywhere close to the year he had last year with the Sox again this year.

Even though Boller had a good game, how in the hell did he get drafted with that short arm follow through?

No, I mean, didn't Tkachuck just get injured?

Why is Tkachuk on the roster?

    NFL Week XV

I find the Panthers way overrated. No running game, one amazing reciever, and an inconsistent QB. And a good D, but not on the level of the Bears where they'll win you a game.

    NFL Week XV

The Giants morph into the Patriots continues. A week after signing Terrel Buckley (hopefully learned the playbook by now), they signed Roman Phifer with all the LB injuries.

I'm still not confident in Feeley. He's made six in a row, but all six have *just* made it.

Eli carried the team the first half of the season. The Giants have a ton of talent, but are really really inconsistent. If their playing well, I think they could definitley beat the Bears, or Seahawks.
