No, I think everyone knew the Yankees pitching sucked.
-
Why wouldn't you want Gibbons? Hes 29, cheap, and while his OBP isn't very good, hes good for 25+ HRs every year, and 80+ RBIs every year. Add Bedard to a rotation that is decent at best, I don't think its a stupid trade. But thats just me. edit: The hell? Why is everyone in the AL East turning into the Yankees? I still find it odd they haven't done anything, George usually goes nuts when hes sees the Mets running the back pages.

You can say Javy was an allstar for half the season, so its a push.
-
Thats it? How about Kenny Lofton, Denny Neagle, Mark Wholers, Tony Womack, the list goes on.
-
And I thought the Yankees sucked at FA pickups lately.
-
The Giants don't score much on the road.
-
what the fuck? Weren't the Yankees trying to get this guy?
-
So Pavano, Javy, Wright, A-Rod were all veterans? I'm simply stating that the Sox have switched to the Yankee view of win now, and win always. Yankees payroll is in the the mid 1502 right now actually, I think.
-
Of course, the Red Sox aren't turning into the Yankees.
-
Whats the 2nd tiebreaker for division leaders? edit: nevermind, its division record.
-
But there's no way you can come away from this game saying the Giants can't win on the road, because they can. First off, they did beat the Niners, whho ALMOST came back and beat the Seahaks last week. Irs not like the Giants got slaughtered. They arguably outplayed the Seahawks for most of the game.

Are you fucking kidding me? The team did everything in their power to try and win that game. They can and SHOULD have won that game.
-
Anglesault would have asked for a certain amount of players to be fired. I didn't do that.
-
All the penatlies were on the O line. Every one. Regardless, he still missed THREE GOD MOTHERFUCKING FIELD GOALS. THREE.
-
HOW IS HE NOT THE FUCKING SCAPEGOAT? HE MISSED THREE FUCKING GAMEWINNING FIELD GOALS. End of story.
-
THEY didn't fuck it up. One man fucked that game up. The prick had 3 chances to win and the last one was disgusting. You don't get enough leg on a damn 42 yard attempt??!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you fucking serious? The team didn't fuck it up? I guess you forgot about the 16 penalties for 114 yards. Sure Jay Feely choked big time, and he'll probably be crucified upon return to New York, but how about not being able to move the ball within the last two minutes of regulation? The playcalling was a bit strange as well, it's odd that they didn't try to get in better field goal range by running the ball with Tiki a bit more after he busted out the 41-yarder. Instead they went for the endzone with Eli, which was stupid. Well put. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yeah definitely. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 4/5 of the penatlies were on the O line for false starts and holding. Tiki ran once more after the 41 yard run, then came out because he was tired. They ran with Ward, and he lost 4 yards, and they tried to pick up a couple yards on a pass. The team was fucking amazing today, and it was totally a one man choke job. Now were gonna have to deal with his shitty emotional state for the rest of the year.

Mentally? FUCK THAT. Hes a professional, he should be able to kick a god damned FG. The last two were low 40 something FGs, if they went wide left or right, I wouldn't be as angry. BUT THEY WERE FUCKING SHORT.
-
I basically saw game 7 coming with Brown. I didn't expect our godsend kicker to miss THREE FUCKING FIELD GOALS in overtime. ... kill me.
-
Heartbroken. I just cannot believe this. .... This might be worse than the 04 ALCS. ....
-
Please make this Feeley, PLEASE.

Everybody on this Giant team beside the O line and Feeley has totally impressed me today. I cannot believe the D has stood tall this long.
