Psh. A pitcher with his talent and age could be inconsistent for a year or two in Boston, and still get a AJ Burnett like contract, probably even more.

The seahawks aren't dominating this game. Its been pretty even beside the Giants idiotic O-Line

Bernies contract was bad, but I honestly think the production he put up in the first five years of his contract made the contract worthwhile. And thank god we gave him that contract, we almost got Albert Bell.

Kareem McKenzie had ONE penalty on him the entire last year. Of course he comes to the Giants and has one every week. Thank god for our D. edit:ANOTHER FUCKING DROPPED PASS. ARE YOU JOKING?

    NFL Week Twelve

What is it with the Giants and dropping passes on crossing routes over the middle? I swear, every single week, atleast five dropped passes.

Alexander is doing nothing so far. Unfortuantley, Corey Webster is being eaten alive by former Giant Joe Jerivicious.

Thats BS. The Yanks signed Small, Chacon, Sturtze, Sanchez, Crosby, Cairo, Lofton ect .. The reason the yanks have such a big payroll is due to backloaded contracts. Bernie, Brown are off the blocks, and the Yanks payroll right now, without a quarter of a bullpen and a CF is 142 million. The Sox are just as bad as the Yankees, and if the Yanks had done the trade offered from the Marlins (Pierre, Castillo, Lowell and Beckett for Cano, Wang, Ducan, and someone else) we would have gotten slaughtered. The Sox give up the future A-Rod, but its a good trade.

Were in round TEN of shootouts in NY. edit: Round 11. edit: Round 12, wow. edit: Round 14. edit: ROUND 15! And Marek Malik, without a goal this year, pulls off an incredible circus shot to win the game. His whole reaction was actually better than the shot. As soon as he scored, he got this smug look on his face like " Psh, I've done that a million times bitches"

ya, but if there's no West Coast teams interested in trading for him yet some other team does then he'll have to decide how much he really wants to leave. Player's Association can't force a West Coast team to take him. I wouldn't mind seeing him go to the Mets for Beltran straight up and then the Red Sox signing Reggie Sanders for one year to play LF. Carlos Lee is a FA after this season and I'd love to see him in Boston. Who knows, maybe Milwaukee will even make him available at the trade deadline if they're out of contention (which they most likely will be). That just leaves Boston needing a leadoff hitter really and with all OF spots taken there would be no room for Damon. Maybe go back to Florida for Luis Castillo? I've read in the Herald and Globe several times that feelings amongst the front office people is that they want Pedroia in Triple A for at least one more full season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why don't the Red Sox sign the WHOLE FUCKING WORLD? Now I know why people hate the Yankees.

I have a question for long time hockey fans. I went to game 7, eastern conference finals Rangers vs Devils in 94, but I was five at the time, so I didn't really know anything. Anyway, they were just showing highlights of the 94 finals, and everything looked more wide open. Once sequence in a game had 5 straight point blank shots on Richter, lots of breakways and 2 on 1s and just a lot more crazyness. Was it two teams with explosive offences, or was hockey THAT different back then?

    This week in the NBA

The rookies come up big again as the Knicks win. Frye goes for 21 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists. And Nate Robinson has the best game of his career, 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and the buzzer beating 3 pointer to win the game in overtime.

Marlins officially declare they are seeking...

New Jersey fans in general suck. I'm a diehard Giants fan, but I'll even admit that fans at the game are quiet and pathetic.

Rangers luck out as Weekes injury isn't serious, and hes just day to day. Ruckinsky's knee is almost healed, he might play thursday thankfully. The 2nd line has one nothing since hes gone. Most of the scoring is either from the 1st line, or some combination of the Ward/Betts/Prucha line.

Wahat are you talking about? The Mets, without Traschel for basically the entire season, were 3rd in ERA in the NL, and 8th in the MLB.

    College Hoops: November

The thing is, UConn is still missing its best point guard in Marcus Williams. Once he gets back, they'll get even better. I'm actually shocked they won with the Maui tourney with Austrie at PG, and Gay struggling like he did in the last two games. But both Denham Brown and Hilton Armstrong stepped up.

Is this how it feels to be a team with a low payroll? Watching every good FA get signed away, while your team does nothing?

Texas hasn't faced any good offensive teams, and as Glove said, Texas KNEW A&M was going to run, and they still couldn't stop the run.
