The Yankees have 9 outs to score on the Rays bullpen, and their still going to lose. Just watch.
-
You sure about Foulke? He looked terrible the last two days, from what I saw.
-
Mantei and Halama aren't far behind. Myers is ok, Timlins been amazing, and Foulke still looks crappy from what I've seen the last two days.

WEEI and a San Fran radio station says the Sox and Giants are disscusing a deal for Jason Schmit. Seeing as hes back on track, if this DID happen, Yankees and Os can wish the division goodbye.
-
Gammons says Beane wants both Duncan and Hughes. Duncan isn't really an issue with A-Rod and Giambi here forever, but Hughes is somebody we cannot trade.
-
Watched the rest of the Sox game, and Foulke still looks bad. Double in the 8th, warning track shot in the 9th, and Hafner bombed one foul.

Wasn't that Anglesault who hated the WC?

The thing is, Pavano has shown me nothing, nothing at all that shows me his recent struggles aren't just the way he is. He's mastered his pattern already. He'll breeze through three, then gets murdered from then on. His stats are horrible. Maybe its torre's fault. Sturtze is our 7th inng guy, Pavano had nothing left, USE HIM JOE!
-
Carl Pavano gives up two HRers, now SIXTEEN on the season. This guy SUCKS. edit: Sierra strikes out with the tieing runners on base. I can't believe we HAVE to win the last game of a series to SALVAGE it against the DEVIL RAYS, AT HOME! *sigh* Yankees lose. Unbelievable.
-
George Steinbrenner? Didn't know you posted here. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yanks don't have any off days leading into the series, it was announced Henn was staying in the rotation, then you just go day by day with the order of the rotation by looking at the schedule. common sense.
-
We have Pavano, Wang and Moose in the Os series. Who do you guys have?
-
RJ needs to give the Yankees Offesnse a big fucking THANK YOU. Ouch. Travis Harper must be crying. JESUS. ANOTHER ONE. JESUS MOTHER OF GOD!
-
It seems like the Yankees hit rock bottom once every week.
-
So much for RJs resurgence.
-
Don't you get bored watching Yankeeography and Yankee classics Al? I mean, they have that round table thing with Berra, Clemens and a couple others sometimes, but besides that, its those two shows, Yankee Magazine, Yesnetwork magazine, ULTIMATE ROAD TRIP~!, Running, Center Stage, or History of the Yankees.
-
I never doubt Joe Torre, but hes going against the laws of common sense and is batting Womack 2nd AGAIN tonight. BENCH HIM.
-
His ability to hit a fastball already makes him more qualified to play on the Yankees than Tony Womack. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good point. But Womack makes 4 million dollars more.
-
The frustrating thing is, he didn't even get knocked around! Four walks, an infield hit, and an error equals 3 runs. From the postgame though, I don't think he'll be starting Saturday. Most likeley someone else.

Andy Phillips is the same good reserve player he always is, and really deserves a permanent place on the Yankees. Otherwise, the hitting talent is entirely forgettable. Alex Graman pitched, and has some decent stuff, although he pitched himself into a couple of jams he was lucky to escape from. It is criminal that Colter Bean is still plying his trade at AAA. Colter Bean now has an 11.6 K/9 ratio in his minor league career. I don't care if a player is a soft-tosser, or a sidearmed thrower. You do not accumulate that kind of strikeout capability without some kind of real ability. Bean could help the Yankees right NOW. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From what I've seen, Andy Phillips cannot hit anything but a fastball.

Anything you noticed about players in Columbus?
-
Sox win, but to think Mo was struggling at the beginning of the year, Foulke is a ton worse.
-
Yankees are 2-5 against the Rays, 2-8 against the Rays and Royals combined, and contributed to 2 of the Rays 6 road wins.
-
The inconsistencey of this team boggles my mind. This team is the EXACT opposite of the team from last week, who took pitches, worked counts, went the opposite way, did the little things. Their swinging at every pitch, no effort. GAH.
-
I hate rookie pitchers. I wouldn't mind if Henn got killed. I wouldn't mind if he gave up 8 hits in one inning. But atleast let them freaking hit the ball.
