Not trade him to get an old veteran pitcher. He'd be included in a deal to get an outfielder. They already have one rookie in the rotation.

Sean Henn goes tonight for the Yanks, and I'm guessing that if any Yankee so called prospect is being traded at the deadline, its him. Olney, Gammons, ect .. all say Hughes is un tradeable, Cano and Wang I wouldn't think so. So, if hes impressive enough, Henn seems like the one to go.

NO FOUL!? He was basically HUGGING the guy!
-
This whole "call timeout to see how the D is set up" thing is fucking annoying.
-
Jesus Christ. Thats MJ level clutchness.
-
The guy who called the game with Morgan tonight was horrific. He thought a freaking GROUND RULE double got caught. And whats worse. Morgan rambling on about how Moneyball doesn't work, or Morgan rambling on the awesomeness of smartball?

I figured I would pass this along. David Bell is now the current active leader in bases loaded at bats without a grand slam, with 118. Here is the leaderboard... David Bell, Phi (118) Jason Varitek, Bos (115) Jose Vizcaino, Hou (110) Alex Gonzalez, TB (109) Eric Young, SD (108) Orlando Cabrera, LAA (93) Sean Casey, Cin (80) Desi Relaford, Col (64) Considering Sean Casey is one of the few players who truly seems to come through in the clutch every time, I am surprised to see him on this list. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought its impossible to determine clutchness? Oh come on, you brought that upon yourself.

Its amazing the Yankees even lasted 7 games in 01. Beside tieing the games in four and five in the 9th, didn't they hit like .189 as a team in that series? Sure RJ and Schilling had a combined 5 starts, but .189 BA is still pathetic.
-
I always thought 01 was the best WS ever. And wait, your telling me NO ONE out of NYC cared about the 200 WS?

You said: "Meanwhile, some Yankee fan would say" So you were talking in general about Yankee fans. I don't think I'm always right. But I DO know that if Manny hits a HRer of Pavano, I'm ranting on Pavano, not saying how easy it was for Manny to hit the HRer.
-
Kim cannot stop a rally, can he? Looks fine through 3 and a third, then just BLOWS up.
-
Buck: "GRAND SLAM MANNY RAMIREZ" and meanwhile some Yankee fan would say "It's just CARL PAVANO, it's not a big deal!" it's feels like a hippocrat is in this thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, no. The posts would be similar to the ones last night, as in, ranting on Pavano.

The guy had 33 saves before injury. He cannot be THAT bad.
-
I *think* its Varitek. If I'm right, you remember stuff like that after YES shows THE GRAPHIC~! everytime Jeter comes to the plate with the bases loaded.
-
After watching those highlights, If I were Al, I'd be happy I wasn't watching the game.
-
He'd only thrown 85 pitches, he shouldn't have been that tired.
-
Good win, but its still crappy the way Pavano pitched. Even though we were up 4-0, you just knew the 2nd time through the order he was in trouble. I mean, he wasn't getting hit hard I guess, and I suppose Florida infielders gets that base hit in the 5th, and reaches the two run single in the 6th. Still, the way Pavano pitches gives me no confidence for him in October.
-
Jeffery Mayer the 2nd?
-
How can you defend his extreme unability to pitch?
-
who gives up a hit to HENRY BLANCO? Who goes to a 3-2 count on Henry Blanco TWICE, and ENRIQUIE WILSON once? HONESTLY~!? When will the Yankees learn that NL pitchers do NOT WORK in the AL, especailly if their control pitcers? *bangs head into desk*
-
Which Pavano shows up tonight? Will It Be Carl "19-8" Pavano Or Carlvier Pavquez, the nickname given to him by asshole Yankee fan.
-
I've gotten one. The 98 season, Hideki Irabu (has to be worth something~!) pitching, Rusty Greer fouled it back, and I got it.
-
RJ has found his slider. Nasty tonight.
