Rey looked great. It seems like he isn't able to do as many of the crazy lucha moves he's done on the past but he looked like he was on the same level as all the other guys in the Chamber tonight. He wasn't this "against all odds" small guy just hanging on. He was aggressive, taking the fight to anyone and everyone. I don't know if it was the intention, but in my opinion he looked the strongest coming out of the RAW EC match tonight. I also like how Edge has evolved into "the opportunist". and whenever he is on the card, it usually means something interesting is going to happen. He didn't exactly look weak kicking out of multiple pin attempts and surviving Cena, Rey, and Jericho inside the EC without any outside interference. Cena looked most like a chump, coming in last, doing a silly ass 5 knuckle shuffle, and getting triple rump-fucked. Hip hop your ass on outta here Marine!! It was beautiful. I wonder if it was the beginning of another push to the championship somewhere down the road for Rey. Maybe as winner of MITB?

Wow. Good stuff.
-
That was beautiful.

The reversal wasn't even convincing. Jericho basically lets go of the walls and stands there while Cena rolls over and applies the STF. At least make it LOOK good. He's worked enough with Jericho to have come up with something better than that.

I think our Mayor would like to change her name right about now, just so she could skip town. She has so much heat on her, even the Ravens don't want her anywhere around. I think all the projections are wrong. I think both teams are gonna score 20+ points in this one. Ravens winning of course.

I wouldn't be surprised if that house ended up on on of those Ghost Hunter shows down the road.

WWE To Now Exclusively Call Their Talent "Entertainers"
cheetoe replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Just to stir the pot a little... would re-classifying the WWE as touring entertainers have any effect on the ability of state athletic commissions to test WWE's so called "entertainers" for performance enhancing drugs? I want to believe that the in house testing is legit, but every time I look at the 40 year old Batista, among others, I have a hard time convincing myself... Are the taxes the state athletic commissions charge for local sporting events really that much? -
I wish that would have went longer. I thought the ending was fine. It wouldn't make sense for Jericho to lose the title so soon. Punk looked like a threat to win.

Santino and Beth, the Brad and Angelina of the WWE. All they need to do is adopt Primo Colon.

Then I guess Joey Styles isn't doing his job, from wwe.com: http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/results/7442496/ This is why smart people ask questions.

Calm down, dude. Hey it's Adamle speaking. I'm not always sure what i'm hearing when he opens his mouth so I figure it's better to ask.

So... will everyone who snags a pinfall during that championship scramble match get credit for a title win? I understand the winner is the Champ, but in theory you could have someone get 5 pinfalls while another wrestler gets one at the end of the match and wins the title? And does the guy who get's 5 pins actually get credit for 5 title wins? The whole concept really sounds flawed. I don't get it.

I have a feeling this is gonna lead to HHH vs Taker at WM. If HHH ends the streak I think I will puke.

PUNK WILL BLEED FOR THIS!

Here are some with a little more detail. Got them from Rajah.com Dark Match: * Ron Killings b. Kenny Dykstra - Killings (with the crowd behind him) gets the win with an axe kick in 5:00. SmackDown: * Jim Ross is out with Tazz to commentate. * A video package of Edge & Foley from last week is shown. * Maryse, Victoria, & Natalya b. Michelle McCool, Cherry, & Maria - All six are dressed for Olympic events. Maria taps to Natalya's sharpshooter at 2:33. * Backstage, La Familia finds Bam Neely laid out with a black rose on top of him. They're confused. * Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder b. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore - Moore gets pinned after a double DDT at 4:19. * Jeff Hardy vs. MVP is announced for SummerSlam. * Lena Yada interviews MVP backstage about Jeff Hardy. * Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin - The crowd is really into this match. Shelton works hard on Jeff's left knee dominating most of the match. Jeff turns things around. He continues to work Shelton over and hits Twist of Fate followed by a Swanton Bomb. Jeff goes for the pin and MVP comes running in and lays him out with a boot forcing the match to end in DQ at 15:49. * Indian Broken Glass Arm-Wrestling Contest: Khali w/Ranjin Singh b. Triple H - Singh translates for Khali. Hunter makes fun of him and then says he'll break Khali's legs at SummerSlam. They start the contest... Khali gets the early advantage. Triple H comes back. Khali then headbutts Triple H and goes for the two hand chokeslam. Triple H reverses and goes for the pedigree. Khali locks on the Vice Grip. Triple H tries to fight but goes down. Khali stands tall. Two refs come out and help Hunter to the back. * Backstage, Curt Hawkins is shown laid out in the locker room with a black rose on him. * A Ron Killings vignette is shown. * Chavo Guerrero and Vickie think that Edge may be responsible for laying people out tonight backstage. At some point Zack Ryder was also knocked out. * Vladimir Kozlov b. Jesse w/Festus - After a short promo in Russian, Kozlov pins Jessee in about a minute after blocking his crossbody. * The Guerreros do more talking in the office. Vickie crushes a black rose in her hand. * Brian Kendrick w/Ezekiel b. Super Crazy - Kendrick pins Super Crazy after hitting The Kendrick at 4:32. Ezekiel put Super Crazy in a torture rack after the match. * Edge joins the Guerreros in the office. Vickie is pissed. Edge sucks up to her and calls for unity. * Edge, Chavo, and Vickie all come out to the ring to call out The Undertaker. Both Edge and Chavo have chairs. Edge turns on Chavo and gives him a one man con–chair–to as Vickie watches from her wheelchair. Edge then shoves Vickie out of her chair. As she screams he cries out that he will take Undertaker and La Familia to hell with him. SmackDown goes off the air. Dark Main Event: * Edge (in street clothes) vs. Triple H for the WWE Championship. - Edge substitutes himself for Vladimir Kozlov. Triple H destroys him with a pedigree after a couple of minutes. Edge, now shirtless, attacks Hunter as soon as he gets the pin and the title match starts. * Triple H b. Edge - Edge dominates early on. Triple H comes back as Kozlov is still in the ring lifeless. They continue to fight back and forth. Edge eventually goes to the back and gets counted out. Kozlov is pedigreed a second time.

If they are serious about Punk as a top guy and they do go with a Punk/Jericho fued for the title down the line , Jericho could make Punk. This new character is pretty awesome, and the stuff with HBK has been really good . I think Punk needs to work with a guy more his size and a guy who is a true heel. He looks like he belongs in the matches with Batista, but it's become obvious he isn't gonna get a pinfall... and if he isn't getting one against Batista, he sure as hell isn't getting one over Cena. Jericho or Orton would be the perfect catalyst for him to be taken seriously as champion. Also it might not sound like much but in the RoH clips i've seen Punk had a look that was identifiable with the long shorts and the hoodie... and give the guy some fucking pyro. Maybe we could bring back the Anaconda Vice as well? He is the champ after all. On a side note, fuck who is trying to kill Vince. The smartmarks "who is noah fentz" storyline is much more intriguing. WWE wishes it could come up with stuff this good.

Could be played that he took a stiff shit-kicking and still came out on top. I wish I had that much faith in their booking...oh look at that Punk ends up laid out yet again Has there ever been a champion that has been laid out this many times in succesive shows? Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio was tossed around by hosses and lost almost every match except title matches. On the other hand, has Punk lost a single match since becoming champion? I dunno... It's not so much the results to me as it is the feel of it. I am happy to see Punk with the title and performing well in the ring. I just wish that they would put him "all the way" over. Last week was the perfect opportunity...

Until they tear the arena down for the three year reconstruct. Yes, that's gonna suck. It's too bad that the place is beyond a really good face lift. uh oh...
