When should John Cena Drop the Belt?

Kennedy does suck in many ways... and I even like the guy. Orton seems like money due to the added edge they gave him of a guy who just wants to give people concussions. Plus, Orton is one of the most over guys no matter where they go. He has the teen girl demographic, which is very important since they give the best reactions, and will usually buy any merchandise you put out. A lot of guys around my age and in their mid 20s also like him, since he's "cool". The older crowd is give or take. I don't know what he brings to the table as far as ratings go. He's been consistently good since that match with Edge where his spot was supposedly threatened due to one of his many fuck ups. Honestly, it wouldn't be bad for him to have a run with the belt...

    Vince mad at low ratings

Christ, don't tell me McMahon is going to start a stupid feud now that Smackdown is getting better rating than RAW. Hey old man, they're both your shows!

Vince replaced his inexplicable love for Sabu with Sandman.

    More comes from tonights tapings.....

He should just stick with that, as it pretty much doubles what he makes from wrestling.

Yeah, you guys are out of your minds if you think McMahon thought nothing of Tazz.

Why did they have to let Cena cut the "Will Smith Fresh Prince of Bel Air" promo tonight? All they had to do was the hardsell at the end, and the little scuffle. Seriously... who thought it would be a good idea for Cena to open the promo like that? It killed a lot of the aura this match had, that was luckily saved a bit at the end.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released

Looking back on how this broke out, and how everything has been handled... it's sad that Victoria can release a better statement in a myspace blog, than the entire PR department of the WWE.

    Rush Hour 3

Supposedly he demands anywhere from $18-27 million per picture now.

You know, I've enjoyed ECW now that they're building the shows based around the championship.

    Rush Hour 3

I thought it was no one willing to pay the amount of money he thinks he's worth... which is the only reason he gets the Rush Hour films now.

Bobby Lashley - Is he underrated?

He has potential to be Mike Awesome like with all of his athletic ability. I call for more planchas

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released

Haha. Maybe not now, but he was pretty jacked when he came up to Smackdown. Didn't he have a couple typically-steroid-related injuries while on SD? Kennedy was considered one of the most jacked up guys back in his old indy fed.

It is if you want to get over with the easily impressionable. Yea, appealing to the lowest common denominator. The uninformed masses would be better served to hear from someone who might not be a great talker, but knows what the fuck they're talking about (Meltzer). But then you run into the problem of those people not hearing what they don't want to hear. That the wrestling business they're such huge marks for is seriously flawed and in need of an overhaul. Or that the wrestlers they're infatuated with are greatly flawed, licentious human beings. These people are recalcitrant to the truth, and instead, give credence to the word of a guy solely because he can cut a quality wrestling promo! It truly is a perfect example of people elevating the celebrities they see on TV on a pedestal, where their word is gold and where they can do no wrong. It's so hilariously lacking in any sort of reason or wisdom. No need to go all Matt Striker on us...

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

I find that hard to believe considering he often gets the least amount of pop when another face is around....matter of fact he often doesn't get much pop at all. Some yes but nothing special. I'd have to see some decent proof to believe that over a long period of time. The lashley/mcmahon fued could have had more to do with mcmahon and not lashley. Likewise with the constant talk of steroids these last few weeks, its hard for me to believe that a program that is centered around the most roided up guy on the roster who shows little charisma, ring skills, and his horrible on the mic, would not see some negative feedback. If he does somehow draw....man that is just fucking depressing. You have to remember that pops with live audience don't mean anything when it comes to TV. The guys who are usually the most over... established acts (Taker, HHH, HBK, etc.) usually lose ratings... they don't lost that many people to where it's a big dent. Fans like Lashley when he gets a good heel to work with and no other factors (McMahons) bringing down the match. And it's amazing that when Lashley debuted, he was bigger than he is right now.

Lashley is actually drawing fans in the same way Cena does thanks to that push. Anywhere from 200,000 to a million a segment.
