So, MarvinisaLunatic is gone
The Niggardly King replied to JangoFett4Hire's topic in No Holds Barred
Marvin's really a guy with a family and makes a ton of money being vice president of some company. He's just really bored and wanted to kill time with creating this bad image of himself. That picture he posted is a photoshop. He really has dark brown hair, fashioned in a Kurt Russell way, and a Rollie Fingers like stache. The only thing of truth is his love for the HDTV, which he has 3 of them around his two story house. Right now, he's probably off reading Sports Illustrated , while his wife is tucking the kids in for bed. -
I gotta know the ratings for this one, as it's probably now the new best show of the season (Justice at #2). Good to see Franklyn from Scrubs ruling it as Hiro. Will Sendhil Ramamurthy have any powers, or is he just going to be reasearching this, and helping the others understand their powers better.

I'm liking the WCW sort of push they're giving to Cade & Murdoch... they're still jobbing... just higher up the card. Should last another month or so.

I shall have the new oasis created by Friday.

Candice is the one who seems to have the most potential... she actually gives a damn, and will try to do something new in each one of her matches lately.

OAO "Holy shit, Kurt Angle is in TNA now" thread...
The Niggardly King replied to Downhome's topic in TNA Wrestling
I still don't like this hiring... and just when I was starting to watch TNA again. -
He was a midcarder who didn't draw a dime to that point. He was also on the brink of being released before a few people stepped in for him. Let's get serious here. PUH-LEASE. How old were you in February/March of 1997? That "Die Rocky Die" phase was about 3 or 4 months into Rocky's career. 3 or 4 months, from the time he debuted at the 1996 Survivor Series. You think they were going to release him 3 months into his contract? A THIRD GENERATION WRESTLER? Just look at all the CHANCES upon CHANCES a SECOND Generation turd like Randy Orton has gotten. Not only that, but do you actually expect a wrestler who is three months into his contract, let alone one who made his WRESTLING DEBUT (read: a rookie) three months ago, from that time period, actually expected to ALREADY make money? Stop before you embarass yourself. Actually, pretty much everyone had given up on The Rock, and even Mick Foley said to Vince that he should just cut his losses with him. Bret Hart is truly the only one around that time to go to Vince and say that he thinks if they show more confidence and stick with him... that he could end up being the greatest WWF superstar of all time. I think Mick Foley even talks about this in one of his books. Because it might potentially hurt the demographic that he brings to the table. Plus, he's always doing promotional work, might be the company's best full time spokesman, and they consider him to be the hardest worker outside of the ring with his schedule since Bret Hart. Turning him heel might ruin those appearances that he gets outside of the ring and all the other stuff with merchandise. They are very afraid of that happening.

That makes perfect sense. I only liked the prospect of keeping in touch with old friends from high school. That's about it.

The Things That Anger You Thread.
The Niggardly King replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
I don't like people coming up to me and talking to me in another language... like I know that shit. The only thing I do know is ASL (American Sign Language). It really sucks, as I've helped a few deaf people out, and they can really be pricks because some of them think I shouldn't know their language because my hearing is perfectly fine, and they'll feel offended by it. -
The last episode finish #1 or #2 in the 18-34 male demographic.

The Niggardly King replied to Downhome's topic in TNA Wrestling
Does the voice over guy call him "Kirk"? Holy shit... it really does sound like he called him Kirk Angle. -
Looks like I was right about the future Kurt Angle: The Self-Destruction of an Olympic Hero DVD

OAO "Holy shit, Kurt Angle is in TNA now" thread...
The Niggardly King replied to Downhome's topic in TNA Wrestling
"Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love.” I don't know why, but this kinda creeps me out. Thank you TNA for saving my life? Hopefully that quote won't be used to define irony later on down the road. -
OAO "Holy shit, Kurt Angle is in TNA now" thread...
The Niggardly King replied to Downhome's topic in TNA Wrestling
I can't really see the good in any of this really... should stay away from wrestling for a while. This whole lighter schedule thing isn't really going to be that helpful to him, since it's Kurt FUCKING Angle, and he'll want to go balls to walls every freaking match in TNA. TNA going to this new time is also kind of shitty in a way. They lose the TUF lead-in, they're against all five networks, and they're in the middle of the Grey's / CSI war. If they get above 1.2, I'll be stunned, and that still doesn't help their PPV buyrates. -
WWE to counter in head-to-head with Ortiz vs. Shamrock III...
The Niggardly King replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
They're gonna stip Vito... aren't they? -
Yes, that's how the Cena hate began.

I just find it funny that the two members chosen to have the great push of being Evolution members have been shitted on so much this year.
-
I'm digging the new breed of wrestlers who are saving their money and finding other things they enjoy doing or want to try, instead of spending it almost as fast as they make it, and not finding really anything else to do.

I wept... twice.
-
I liked him, and the fact he was able to do more with his career when given the opportunity at a main event run. It did bad business, but he grew into his role quite well.
-
From what I've seen a few years ago... he's a good chubby dick heel in NOAH.

I gotta check this out...
