All I can say about this is that if I was a wrestler riding around in the indies scraping together gas money and rent and someone offered me a chance on TV in WWE on any of their shows, my first words would be "where do I sign?". If the guy can get a year out of this gimmick, no matter how bad it may seem, he is still gonna be pulling a fair amount of money from it. Harry Smith said the exact same thing in an interview when asked what his reaction would be if they asked him to do gobbledygooker 2.0. My guitar I love this thing, fits me pretty much perfectly and plays nice. Got it for a steal aswell which helps. that's the only equipment in my possession right now, however my brother owns a fairly low end peavy amp that is worn out and makes a beautifully grim metal noise when the knobs are on 10. He also has a 9 piece drum kit that is basically no name brand with brutalized old heads that I don't remember the name of right now. There's a pedal i should describe cuz it's very boss in terms of effects and usefullness but I also don't know the name or product number of that one right now either.

I guess I could be glad/disqualified from this thread since I don't set out to write poetry. Nor, to my recollection, have I ever. Nowhere in this thread have I seen a required skill/experience level post. Noone here is under any obligation to post work that conforms to someone elses classification of quality or usefullness. As far as saying "well why don't you just prove me wrong with your own work" goes, that's a fairly juvenile response. Especially since I don't foresee anyone posting any work and having 15 posters immediately follow up saying "OMG thanks 4 sharing". In the sense of proper techniques, yes it can. As a means of expression, no it can't. But I fear this could simply end up as a matter of opinions on what is and isn't poetry. Then again, I could be off base on that since I know very little about it to be honest. Just one humble lyricist's opinion I suppose.
