ditto me on this. I woke up super early in the morning(like 6:30am) because I was so fucking excited at the prospect of seeing the first true Match Of The Decade Candidate from WWE. God bless 'em for trying so hard, with a buildup that is obviously not the WWE norm, and the opportunity for just those two to settle it. Best match we're ever gonna get out of the "WWE Style"

I'm just suprised that this match was so much less than it should have been. 2 legit "true" wrestlers 60 minutes to do their thing without interruption Part of the country that understands wrestling so they should have the crowd with them. Add to that, neither man blew a spot that I remember. Wrestling is my porn and watching this didn't make me whack it... This is the best SD that I have ever seen though, simply for the fact that it was all wrestling, the crap was kept to an absolute minimum, and it had a special aura around it. Yeah the iron man wasn't the shit, but I say thanks anyway for giving it to me. "In the spirit of competition". The closest we're ever gonna get from Stamford

That's what got the bulk of the ***1/4 from me. I can not say (in a match like this where opinions can reasonably go either way) that I strongly disagree with your rating.

The stalling at the start was a good idea, but using that to set up the beginning of the match could have been done in 3 minutes instead of 6.

I'm suprised that nobody has mentioned the very spotty selling of the leg attacks by Brock. Now it's there and now it's not kinda thing. Kurt looked like gold through this whole match, which helps Brock look great(although Brock seemed to have troubles at times in the match). He looked ready to go another 30 easy. Props to Brock for being a 300 pound man going 60. I really enjoyed the last 10 minutes of the match but overall I was quite disappointed in it. ***1/4

I have heard that it was put together quite well, but who knows as far as tv goes i guess. I'm still hyped since this show looks like it's going all "spirit of competition", like during the SD6 era.
