This guy took some head injuries and scars in order to (quite possibly) save this woman's life. Given the reaction of the asshole when the guy confronted him, I'd say it's a good bet that the woman would have ended up in some serious straits had the situation escalated any further. The coworker is irrelevant at this point, and the woman came forward. Just because you couldn't be bothered to help someone in this situation (scared to take a few knocks maybe?), doesn't mean that this guy is a fool for doing so.

Besides, Soulseek is way way way way way better and you're less likely to get jacked up by virused and cut songs. Other than that you should be able to fill in any holes with irc or dc++. But you'll surely get what you're looking for out of soulseek. If you were running Kazaa previously, run AdAware and SpyBot like yesterday.
