The whole basis of the rivalry was that the Red Sox couldn't beat the Yankees. They did. And it's still a rivalry. Just a basic one. Well, then it wasn't ever a rivalry. If one team comes out on top all of the time, then there is no basis for the rivalry. When I played soccer in high school, our biggest rival was a team that we beat, then they beat us. You can't have a rival against a team that always beats you. It isn't a true rivalry then.

From what I am getting from this is that since the Yankees didn't win, then it isn't a rivarly anymore? That doesn't make any sense. Even though the BoSox beat the Yankees, I hate them just as much as I used to. This has to be the dumbest thing you have ever said AS. This makes ZERO sense.

What? How is the rivalry dead? Soo, when the BoSox have their home opener against the Yanks, and the Yanks get to watch the BoSox get their rings, that won't mean anything? If anything, this will make the rivalry bigger.

They're filming a movie that revolves around their characters' love for the Sox. Anyway, congrats to the Sox. They wanted it and they got it. I believe after the BoSox did so well in the postseason, the Farrelly Brothers re-shot the ending to go along with the BoSox WS victory. And yes, this is amazing. I believe a tear might have fallen.

Is that the goofy kid from "Real World Back to New York"? Yes. Actually, that would be a good thing for WWE. RW/RR challenges, which he has been on 4 of, are a big ratings draw for MTV. It wouldn't hurt WWE if he is one of the top guys and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins it. I'm not sure if that'll translate into drawing power, since on the "REal World" he was on, he was pretty much portrayed as a dumb rube who constantly got his ass handed to him by Coral and her magnificent breasts. That was the last season of the show I could stand. But that 2.6 rating doesn't hurt.

Umm, well for the time being I don't have Angel season 1 or Buffy season 4 till I get my job rolling. I owe my friend $20 and he has those two DVD sets. I told him if I don't give him the money, he could keep them. That was dumb. But I NEEEDEDDDDDD that 20.

There is noooo way this PPV did anything near a good buyrate. With BoSox/Yankees playing, I can't see very many people buying this one. But I am just stating the obvious.
