I was thinking about going to see Vengeance at the Hartford Civic Center, but I can't really afford it right now. If I happen to get some money soon, I can still get a good seat. I just looked it up online for best seating they have, I got: Section: 3 Row: E Which is pretty good, but not for $200 when it is Raw PPV.

I believe his hype. He is 290 lbs and runs the 40 in 4.7 seconds. Not too many men his size are that fast.

Official "I saw Fahrenheit 9/11" thread......

They didn't? Looks to me that NoCal was dicussing the movie there. -
I would. That would be beyond massive! I'm guessing around 112-115 but no higher than that. Any higher and I'll be stunned. Plus "F 9/11" will hurt Spiderman out of the gate, believe it or not. Either that or it'll look like Moore's movie was pushed into more theaters and suffered one of the biggest sales drops in recorded history. F 9/11 won't affect Spidey 2 period. Hell, it'll have as long a run at #1 in the box office as "You Got Served". -=Mike ...Expects to see a rather impressive drop in business for Moore's opus... A drop? Of course it will drop down in business, because that is what most movies do. However, it will only drop about 10-15% which isn't that bad for a second week. If it gets about 200 more theaters, it might actually do better business. If Spidey is sold out, F911 might be their second choice. It would be my second choice.

I can't wait for the film; I'll be seeing it on Wednesday night. If none of my friends want to go, I'll see it by myself.

Weekend or Wednesday->Sunday? As for me, I'll be seeing the movie Wednesday and maybe a couple times over the weekend. I love Spider-Man. From Wed-Sun.

Spiderman made $114,844,116 in its opening weekend in 3,615 theaters, which is an all-time record for a weekend opening. Spiderman 2 is set to open in over 4,000 theaters and they are promoting the SHIT out of the movie. I'm calling it right here; SP2 to make over $150 million.

Don't have to see it. The things I mentioned are mentioned by EVERYBODY who saw the film, so it's safe to say that they're in there. -=Mike What? You can't have a true opinion about something unless you see it. -
The way I saw it at first was Willow and Tara were soul mates. It showed that true love had no bounds, that sex didn't matter....but then they went and made Willow a full blown lesbo which killed that, especially when they hooked her up with Kennedy, bleh. Joss and crew wanted to stress that Willow and Tara fell in love first, rather than saying that Willow turned gay.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Spiderman get more than $150 million next week.

Have you seen it Mike? -
Aicha Words can't describe how funny this is.

I hate mini-commentaries. Why don't they do full ones?

Those two right there will make the movie for me.

I'm a little annoyed right now. I lent my Buffy season 2 to this kid Dustin. I decided to drop out of summer session at school, so I went to get it back from him and the fucker went to Texas. Plus I can't find the Angel VCD I bought on eBay. Grrr, I am in the mood to watch Angelus fuck with Buffy right now.
-
I said the same exact thing. What is even more amazing is that it was only released in 868 theaters.
-
If you noticed, the First wasn't the smartest evil in the world. The damn thing didn't even know how to open a seal. But whatever anyone says about season 7, you'll spin it into something negative. Unless it is about Andrew, because he is sooo funny....
-
Sure they can. "Not very" seems like a pretty good explanation of how funny this site is. Nothing on the whole site is funny? If you can't find ONE thing on the site that is funny, then you don't have a sense of humor.

The thing about Smallville is that it has about 15 or so writers. Plus the fact that Miles Millar hasn't written an episode since season 1 and Alfred Gough hasn't written an episode since season 2 (the first episode), who are both the creators. I find it odd that both creators don't write episodes anymore, unless they left the show and I didn't know about it.

<---------------MoleSerenity And an April release? That is earlier than I thought it was; I thought it would be a Summer release.
-
The thing is that Jasmine's plan was planned out from the beginning of time, while the First just decided out of the blue to fuck with Buffy. And the timeline works out; I figured it out one time. If memory serves me correct, once Willow goes to LA, the stories connect. If you think about it, things happen quicker when Faith arrives than before hand.
-
Now that would be something, but I only got 3 and half hours of sleep so I can't think of a clever convo between the two.

One good thing about her Cordy's death was that her story was told. She "came back" for "You're Welcome" to put Angel back on the right track; work for the PTB and do the right thing.

A few things: 1) If the script is as good as everyone says, then the critics will like it and that always helps. 2) If the script is as good as everyone says it is, and Joss does his magic, that always helps. 3) This is Joss' baby, he is going to put more effort than needed to make sure this is a good film. 4) When was the last time a sci-fi film was loved by the critics?
-
I watched "You're Welcome" again today and I noticed a few things. 1) When Angel and Wes go to see Cordy in the hospital, there is a shot of a person in bed. My guess is that person is Cordy, still in the coma. However, the PTB used their powers so Cordy could give Angel one last message. 2) The fact that Angel and Wes were the ones to see Cordy is sweet because it goes back to the beginning of the series of just those three. 3) When Wes is doing the spell so Lindsey's tattoos come off, Fred looks at him in "that way." It is the first time, that I can remember, that she looked at him like that in a long time, if ever. 4) I loved the way Charisma played Cordy because it is a mix of the bitch Cordy and "champion" Cordy. If she were to have stayed for season 5, and played that way, she would have gotten on my good side again. 5) The episode isn't as good as I remember. Still good, but not GREAT like I orginally stated.
