Need a QB? Kurt Warner's Available

Bah, Warner is the most overrated QB in the league. The man had three good seasons and everyone calls him the man. Then he gets a wee little thumb injury and he sucks, big time. For those three years, he was a good QB, a damn good QB. But, he was a three-year wonder in the NFL. He will be 33 next year and ever since his thumb injury, he can't throw the ball like he used to. Farve hurts his thumb, and he still gets a 90.4 rating. I SO FUCKIN HOPE that the Niners don't pick him up. I will be so pissed off because that would be such a waste. Rattay is a damn fine QB; he threw for 856 yards, 7 TDs, 2 INTS and had a 96.6 rating this past season.

If you died today, what song....

Phish - "Down With Disease" Mostly for the chorus. Down with disease Three weeks in my bed Trying to stop these demons that keep dancing in my head Down with disease Up before the dawn A thousand barefoot children outside dancing on my lawn, and I keep Waiting for the time when I can finally say That this has all been wonderful but now I'm on my way But when I think it's time to leave it all behind I try to find a way but there's nothing I can say to make it stop Down with disease and the jungles in my mind They're climbing up my waterfalls and swingin' on my vines So I try to hear the music but I'm always losing time 'Cause they're stepping on my rhythm and they're stealin' all my lines Stealin' all my lines and I keep Waiting for the time when I can finally say That this has all been wonderful but now I'm on my way But when I think it's time to leave it all behind I try to find a way but there's nothing I can say to make it stop

The One And Only 24 Season 3 Thread

I actually thought that she was the one who got shot. And I was screaming at the TV "The guy in the red isn't the guy looking after Saunder's daughter!" Just like last week, I knew that Chase wasn't in the right place looking for Saunders. I think things are getting too predictable.
  5. Damn, beat me too it. Angel Season 4 too.

If I want to see HD-DVD in its TRUE FORM, don't I need a HD-TV?

    Hair Style...

I am not sure if this has been posted before, if it is has, just ignore this then. How and why do you have your hair styled/cut? I have mine in a crew-cut. At first, I cut it at 1/2 an inch, but it didn't look good enough. Then I cut it at 1/4 inch, but I had to cut it about everyweek because it started looking bad. I just did it at a 1/8 inch and it looks the best that way. I have it like this because it is very easy to keep and it looks good. Well, people tell me that and I think so too.

So where does RAW go from here?

This is the first Raw I won't miss pre-WM. I mostly want to see how the Calgary fans treat HBK.

    Spoilers...

This might sound like a stupid question, but I don't know that much about HTML and how it works. How come the spoiler tag work in beginning of threads? For example, Angel Thread Page 2 the second post down, the spoilers are working. I know they fixed the thread a while back and the spoiler tags were working then. However, if they fixed the board, wouldn't they have fixed the pages that took place before the change?

    What do you look like...

Actually, I'll look just like my dad. I'll scan the picture later of him, but I'll look like that in 39 years.
  16. Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone is the third highest grossing movie of all time worldwide ($968,600,000). Other high ranking family films are Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets ($866,300,000 - #7), Finding Nemo ($853,200,000 - #9), the Lion King ($783,400,000 - #13), and ET ($756,700,000 - #14). That makes 5 family films in the top 15 grossing movies of all time. Looks pretty good. Only the fantasy genre in general, helped by three LOTR movies in the top ten (#2, #5 & #8) , the two Harry Potter films (#3 & #7), two Star Wars films (#4 & #12), Spider-Man (#11) and arguably the Matrix Reloaded (#15) did better. Three things here: 1) I was doing domestic numbers because Choken was saying how 13 Going on 30 was going to make more money than Kill Bill, in domestic numbers next week. By the stats, action does better than family movies, even though 13 Going on 30 is a romantic comedy. (Choken said it was a family movie.) 2) I didn't include cartoons. 3) You used worldwide numbers. We are both right, but I should have used WW numbers.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

The Spike turn would be a GREAT swerve, but so stupid at the same time. Spike has his soul, so he wouldn't turn.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

Which sucks? The fact you won't read the spoilers or what happens in the finale?
  20. Actually, Lohan has a pretty decent box-office numbers. Parent Trap - $66 million Freaky Friday - $110 million Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen - $28 million I think Mean Girls will do well for three reasons. 1) Young girls will want to see her. 2) Tina Fey wrote it and she has a following from SNL. (Just ask Bob Barron) 3) Lindsay = HOT, which might draw the male crowd. I could see the movie making around $60 million, but no more than that. This spring is crowded with big movies, so that might hurt it. Granted it is a different audience, but it still might hurt it. And next week's predictions: 1) Kill Bill Vol. 2 2) 13 Going on 30 3) Man on Fire 4) Johnson Family Vacation 5) The Punisher

    Regarding Name Changes

I have no problem with giving props to Joss. But the way you did it reminds me of when grade school girls would write their first name on their notebook with a boy they have a crush on's last name. Crap, the secret is out. Once Angel ends, I'm going to change it again. Probably to MoleFireFly.

The One And Only 24 Season 3 Thread

This season has picked up a lot of steam. In the beginning of the year, the season didn't have much going for it. Once the virus was released in the hotel, BAM, shit is lit. Even though we had to wait longer for this episode, we only have to wait 2 days for the next episode. And that looks sweet too.

    What do you look like...

Umm we have the same eyes and both with facial hair. That is about it. Besides, he is much uglier than me.
  24. Well, I hate to break it to you but "Family" movies aren't big box office movies. They have smaller budgets so they will make more money, but they aren't breaking many records. Here are the top family films and their rank for all time (domestic). The non-cartoons are in bold. 4. ET - $435 million 10. Finding Nemo - $340 million 12. Lion King - $328 million 13. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - $318 million 21. Home Alone - $286 million 23. Shrek - $268 million 24. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - $262 million 25. How the Grinch Stole Christmas - $260 million 27. Monsters Inc. - $256 million 30. Toy Story 2 - $246 million 44. Aladdin - $217 million 49. Back to the Future - $211 million 54. Gone With the Wind - $199 million 57. Toy Story - $192 million 59. Grease - $188 million 61. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - $185 million 77. Ice Age - $176 million 80. Home Alone 2 - $173 million 85. Beauty and the Beast - $171 million 86. Tarzan - $170 million 96. A Bug's Life - $163 million 99. The Sound of Music - $159 million Cartoons are a different kind of family film because they can draw more people. For example, I'll see any Pixar movie because they are all so damn good. But you would never catch me paying to see 13 Going on 30. My point is that I'm not counting cartoons in my calculations, but I put them in the top 100 anyway. Only 10 of the films in the Top 100 are family films, that aren't cartoons. Family films aren't the biggest draws; action movies are. 41 action movies are in the Top 100, which is the majority. Besides, 13 Going on 30 is actually a romantic comedy. There are only 5 romantic comedies that are in the Top 100 and 5 romantic comedies from 101-200. There are 30 action movies from 101-200. Kill Bill Vol. 2 is a action movie. 13 Going on 30 is a romantic comedy. If you go by the numbers, Kill Bill Vol. 2 has a "bigger market" than 13 Going on 30.
