The Las Vegas episode was okay at best, but the stuff with Angel talking about being here in the past was great. Angel has had some life.

That was the only part of the movie that people clapped.

I just shaved my beard during Thanksgiving break, but I just kept my van dyke. I haven't shaved in a few days, if that counts.

And where are the trailers...? I saw the trailer for Riddick at LoTR, and it didn't do anything for me.

I just got back from seeing it, and it was worth driving 45 minutes to see it. For those who haven't seen it, I defiently recommend seeing the film. It gets **** from me, I'm not quite sure if it is Picture of the Year though. Best trilogy ever though. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I've never read any of the books before, so I don't know what wasn't featured or anything like that. Plus, I didn't know for a fact if Frodo was going to destroy the ring, even though I was about 99% sure. Since I didn't read the books, everything was built up perfectly. At first, it seemed the movie was moving a little too slow. It felt like it was just being blah, blah blah. Then out of nowhere, it picked up steam and never stopped. The battle at Gondor(sp?) was amazing. The fight told a perfect story; the heels were winning at first, then faces, then heels, then faces come out at top. Legolas' deal with the elephant like animals was gansta. There wasn't enough of Gimli though. He was always one of my favorite characters, plus he brought most of the laughs. The whole story about Frodo was told great. In each film, you could tell he was getting drawn into the ring every time. And in RotK, it was no different. You could tell the spider scene was supposed to be in TT because Frodo wasn't fucked up as much, but whatever. The ending with Frodo not throwing the ring made perfect sense though. I knew that was coming, but I thought Frodo would actually jump into the lava with the ring. Sam's story was great too. He was one of my favorite characters because of the bravery he had. If it weren't for Sam, then Frodo wouldn't have gotten that far. The ending went on a little too bit for me, but they did have to close everything. The fact that Aragorn bowed down to all of the Hobbits was right because the journey was mainly about them. Granted everyone in the Fellowship had a big role in the journey, but the Hobbits played the biggest part, IMO. Not the best review, but it is 4:48 and I am a bit tired right now.

I don't blame them. Even though I own all of those episodes, I would still get the sets just for the fuck of it. They know how hardcore Buffy fans are.

Damn, this episode is pretty phat. My comments after I get back from LoTR.

Aww shit, here comes Chase.

The Willow collection should have "Wrecked."
-
No way, it will make more than that. Critics gave it lots of hype.

I'm going to the midnight showing, but it is 45 mins away.

She might've meant that they were fooling around behind the scenes, not on-camera. Any such fooling around would most likely be in Season 2, in which both Spike and Harmony are around all the time, which would put McNab's age right at her stated 17. Nope, she meant on camera.

Blah, from Buffy.nu THIS BITES: Here’s some "TV News" scoop from the new issue of TV Guide magazine (on sale now): Sarah Michelle Gellar won’t be back as Buffy this season after all. The erstwhile Slayer - who was in talks to do a two-episode arc on Buffy spinoff Angel during May sweeps - has opted against picking up stakes again. Says Joss Whedon, creator of both series: "She feels it’s not the right time." Gellar’s rep declined to comment. In related news, the Scooby-Doo thesp has signed on to star in the horror film The Grudge, an English-language remake of the Japanese thriller Ju-On. If there is a sixth season, which there FUCKIN BETTER BE, then she'll show up for that.

My theory is that the media is the one that helps wrestling become popular. During the two boom periods, wrestling was all over the media. Granted ratings were high during those times, but it helped because of wrestling all over magazines and TV shows. One of the reasons the media doesn't care for wrestling is because it sucks right now. There aren't any new characters that are getting the media's attention to actually talk about wrestling. Plus the fact that the storylines suck. It is just a theory though.

Fight Club, The Usual Suspects and The Princess Bride are the only movies that I'd get from that.

indeed it is , but only because of Sam Jackson... and J'lo didn't screw Ben...BEN screwed Ben. in fact, Ben can go screw himself... No no. Ben did just as well as Sammy did.

I am studying Communication Broadcasting. I wanted to do film, but the film major also has theater and I hate theater. My school isn't a very good with communications. They are only offering 5 classes next semester; I took 3 of them, 1 I am going to take and you have to be a senior to take the other one. Next year it will be. The one class I want to take the most is a Documentary because I'd love to direct documentaries. I found out it is being offered this semester and I didn't even know that. I'll take it in the fall, my senior year, and it will be a Cops type show, but a mock one towards Public Safety.

That would be Vince Russo actually. I think he was actually quoted to that comment.

BAHAHAHA. I just read the Mercedes McNab article in FHM, and there is a mistake that I know I'm nippicking with. McNab said that she didn't know Masters was 41 when they first were fooling around on the show, and she was 17. When Spike and Harmony fooled around for the first time, it was in season 4. McNab was 19 and Marsters just turned 39 at the time. I had to look up the ages and the first time they fooled around, yes I am bored but I can't sleep at 3:50.

Any EA sport game was better on Genesis.

The fun is I can skip "Slouching Toward Bethlehem" which is a very boring episode. And I get to see Wes wipping out the shotgun right away.
