You asked for it, you got it. The Smartmarks

Right, I fixed it again. -
Full screen? Bah, it doesn't look good at all. That's why you need to get it on DVD from Ebay....

Since I read potential spoilers, I won't read it. However I am psyched for this movie, so I will be seeing it on Sunday night, my new movie night.

TSM Poster Tournament II: THE FINAL~!
Mole replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in Poster Tournament
Ingrate. Jeez Zack, starting to show some sour grapes now dude.. It was meant as a joke, since I can't shake this Buffy squad. I love SMG, but I never got into the show. As Rant said, it is a circle jerk of love. -
Is Spike back to his slick hair, or does he have the all over the place hair from early season 6?

I always thought it was a horror movie. Discount that then. I'll edit it now. -

I disagree, Scream is a horror movie. The Others Silver Bullet Texas Chainsaw Massacre -
Plus Dames was a big part of the thread, and he does own TSM.

I didn't watch Buffy back then, but I remember reading about it in Entertainment Weekly. EW always had a hard on for Buffy, and wrote about them a lot. EW basically said that WB was dumb, and they should of kept the show. UPN treated it like any old show, while WB advertised it as a flagship show, which it was. I remember seeing them advertise Buffy when I watched Dawson's Creek, and they made it as if it were a big show. I remember them talking about Angel moving to UPN too, but that didn't happen obviously. All I gotta say is UPN sucks, and without Smackdown they would be gone.
-
Okay, I missed the point then. WB should just keep Angel, it is their 3rd best show.
-
True, but Angel's a BRAND taht carries an audience around with it, somewhat. What does UPN have? The Mullets? Right now, Angel is doing just as well as Buffy did last season. Lets face it, WB doesn't get shit for ratings. WB averaged a 3.0 last week, Angel got a 3.8. From what I could find, only "7th Heaven" with a 4.7 and "Smallville" with a 4.3, did better than Angel. Being the 3rd best show on the network, it looks pretty good for the show. If WB cancels Angel, it would make little sense to me.
-
You would be correct. I looked ahead on the TNT schedule, and when I checked last week it looks like they're just going to be showing season 4 eps once a week in this slot...not bad at all. Or you can just own season 4 on DVD, like me. If the Buffy convention was anywhere near the Northeast, I'd go. Damn Nashville.

The budget includes everything that costs to make a movie. A actor's salary is a cost to make a movie, so it counts in the budget. The promotion isn't in the budget -- all of that happens after the movie is made.

Season 4 was mostly about the difference between science and magic.

I was watching CNN and they showed a clip of him and the tiger from a regular show. I didn't realize how fuckin huge the tiger was compared to Roy, I am suprised he just bit his neck. The tiger could of easily just bit his head off now problem, poor guy will be the ugliest human being on earth now.

A defintion of classic: a. Belonging to the highest rank or class. b. Serving as the established model or standard: a classic example of colonial architecture. c. Having lasting significance or worth; enduring. The Buffy thread fits all three of those defintions, well maybe not the first one so much. It was one of the few topics on this board that stayed on topic, and it did it for 141 pages. I'd say that is a pretty impressive amount of time. Most people who crap on the show have never really seen it before. I used to make fun of the show all the time, and I never saw one episode of it. My brother used to tell me to check it out, but I just told him he was gay and I would never watch it. When I went to my freshman year of college in 2001, the girl that eventually became my girlfriend for the better part of the year, love Buffy. Being the nice boyfriend that I was, I would check it out for her. I put a little interest into it, but it never really got me fully into it. It probably was because I never saw any episodes before it, and was a tad be lost. Then for her birthday, I bought her the first season on DVD. Before I gave it to her, I watched it -- and I was hooked. Bam, I had a new favorite show, and I watched the rest of season 6. I got season 2 as soon as possible, and watched that right away too. Basically, I had found my new favorite show and loved it. Angel eventually spun from that, and it is my favorite show that is on primetime television right now. This year, I was telling people that it was my favorite show. This one girl was like, you're into that 'sci-fi/fantasy' stuff? I was like, nope not at all, I just happen to like those two shows. I don't like Star Trek, I've tried watching it and thought it was really lame. Basically if anyone just gave the show a shot, then you might like it. I did and it is my new favorite obsession. Hell if anything the fight scenes are one of the best parts of the show. Buffy is gansta.
-
I'm not sure about that. I got those numbers from BuffyGuide.com, and they don't have anything about season 6 yet. I'll actually look it up in a few minutes, or atleast try to.
-
All I have to say is that Dave sucks, big time.
-
Atleast Trey got some love.
-
If I was at tonights game, I would of had the best time. There is nothing better than going to a show live. Even if the show sucks big time, it always seems better live. You just get into it more, and I love that. When I went to see Smackdown at Mohegan Sun a while back, I had the best seat. I sat in a single row, all by myself. I got to put my feet up, and didn't have to deal with people around me. I was on the second level, so I had a great view. I didn't bring my signs with me because I was dumb, but I wish I had my Mole sign so I would of been on TV no problem. It was one of the best times at a wrestling event by myself.

Ha, this is turning into another Buffy thread! I don't think BondGuy(boy is too mean) meant to do this.

How bout the fact that NO ONE REALLY CARES about Kane "dieing"?
-
I am sure that if a TV deal was close to happening, Meltzer would of said something by now.
