There is NO way why BC should be ahead of UConn. They tied for the Big East regular season title and UConn got farther in the tourney.

There is NOOO WAY Syracuse is going to get a #2 seed. If they get a #1 seed, then there is something wrong with the system. But I see what you are saying CC, I was just in a bad mood because UConn lost. And since they lost, they won't get a good seed. Syracuse will probably get a 3 seed, which will make me happy. Even though I HATE them, it makes the Big East look better.

They performed well in the regular season. The season is more important than the conference tourney. No, the conference tourney does matter. If a team wins it, they get an automatic bid. So the conference tourney means something for some teams, but not others? That doesn't make any sense. They look at your season as a whole when considering seeding. Conference tournaments can only impact that if you get a lot of high-profile wins or one truly horrendous loss. NC State isn't near a bad enough team to impact Wake a whole lot. What about those teams that did well in the season, Arizona, but weren't as good as UNC/WF. Then they do well in their conference tourney, which UNC/WF didn't. They then should get the #1 seed, not WF. It is just the way I look at it.

But why does UNC get a #1 seed no matter what? That has never made sense to me. If they don't perform well in the ACC tourney, which they didn't, then they shouldn't get a #1 seed. Simple as that.

The FCC (right now, anyway) only can influence network TV. They can't touch cable stations. Why do you think shows like The Shield, Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck are able to air? They are able to do so because they come on later at night. I wouldnt expect A show on Disney ( a Cable operated station) to say "shit" on a show that comes on late at night. Like what Bob and King said, the FCC can't do anything about cable. I remember seeing something on CNN that the FCC is really pushing to regulate cable, which would really suck. I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I got this at 411. That is complete bullshit because WWE, even though ratings have been down from the past, is in the top 15 for cable every week. Hell, the week of 2/28 - 3/6 "Raw" and "Raw Zone" were the top two shows. Any advertiser would be all over a top 15 show, so I call their bluff. And they want to have more scripted shows and LESS reality shows? First off, wrestling isn't reality, it is scripted. Second off, Spike TV has TONS of reality type shows. Carpocalypse, MXC, The Ultimate Fighter, Boom!, and Untold. 5 of their 7 shows, that air at night, are "reality based." If they want to move away from reality TV, they need to do up their whole lineup, again. SpikeTV is just upset because they don't have wrestling anymore.

If conference tourney's mean as much as they seem too, Wake and maybe UNC shouldn't get a #1 seed. They didn't even make it to the finals, let alone win the whole thing. Wake lost to NCST, which was a horrible team this year. There is no way the should get a #1 seed. This is how the seeds should go: Illinois, if they win the Big Ten or not. Arizona, only if they win the Pac-10. If they don't win, then I could see Duke getting it if they win the ACC. Kansas, but there tourney win doesn't count since it's after the seeds have been picked. Kentucky, if they win the SEC or not. If they loose, then that is the only way UNC will get a #1 seed. Those seeds only really work if the conference tourney's mean as much as they should. Since a team gets an automatic bid if they win their respected conference, then not doing well in your conference tourney should effect your seeding. For example, if UConn won the Big East, then they would have gotten a solid #2 seed. Hell, they could have gotten lucky and scored a #1. But since they didn't even get to the finals, they are going to drop to a 4 seed or even a 5. The same thing should be the case for Wake.

Looks like Nintendo is actually doing the right thing with Revolution.
