    Rated PG Superstar?

I'm sorry, but Kennedy isn't good on the mic. The dude just screams his name twice, and whenever he tries cutting a 10 minute promo, he's boring as hell.

    Discussion: Possible DC Universe Movies

I think that Flash got cancelled didn't it? David Goyer wrote the script, and Ryan Reynolds was going to star. I'm not sure what happened there, maybe WB thinks that besides Batman and Superman, no one cares about DC? I too remember those rumors about The Green Lantern being a comedy starring Jack Black, but that has the chance of a snowball in hell now. Of course they probably considered doing that around the time that the awful Catwoman movie came out.

    The Dark Knight

HaHa! I saw that same scene the other day on TV, and I started laughing really hard. Gary Oldman is awesome. Most movie villains though are still in control of what they are doing. Some are either not insane, or if they are, they still have morals they follow. The Joker pretty much had no morals in TDK. He simply wanted to cause anarchy just for the fun of it. There also was no real way to defeat him either. You hit him, he laughs, you kill him, he laughs and welcomes it. Even though Batman caught him at the end, I don't think Batman ended up winning.

    Rated PG Superstar?

I would say WWE since 2002 has been PG-13. Its like a watered down Attitude Era. They have similar angles and such, but its not as hard edged. I never think wrestling should try to appeal to kids. I mean when has wrestling drew anything when it tries to go for kids? You could say the 80's, but I think that tried to appeal to everybody.

By the way, what has happened with the development for Sin City 2?

    The Dark Knight

Thanks When I said the Joker was the best villain I've seen in movies, that is simply just my opinion. You can choose whoever you want. I've just never seen any villains in movies that were as sick and twisted, but also as fun as the Joker in this. I want to see A Clockwork Orange, since Ledger said that Alex from that was an influence on his Joker. Also, has anyone seen Moviefone's list of the best movie villains? Ledger's Joker probably should be #1 on that. The only other villain that is close to being as sick and twisted is Hannibal, but he has manners though.

    The Dark Knight

The Spider-Man villains are shit compared to the Joker in this movie. I think the Joker was the best movie villain ever in this movie.

    The Dark Knight

I have never understood the popularity of Bane, and why people want to see him again in a movie. Sure, he's a smart villain, and defeated Batman, but the guy's a fucking coward. The dude realized he couldn't beat Batman in a real fight, so he released the asylum on Batman, so then he would be tired both mentally and physically. Meanwhile, look at the Joker in TDK. He enjoyed pain, and wasn't afraid at all of dying. In fact, he thought both were funny. You won't see Bane stand out in the street and yell, "COME ON, HIT ME!"

    The Spirit is coming

I saw the new trailer for this before the Dark Knight, and I thought it looked stupid. It was one of those trailers that made me think WTF afterwards.

Was Brian Gerwitz fired? If so then, It should have happened after Katie Vick.

    The Dark Knight

I agree with everything bps said. Two-Face wouldn't have been interesting at all if he was in the next movie. I found the hospital scene with him and the Joker to be one of the best scenes ever in a movie. It was just powerful. To show you what I mean about Two-Face, is that he was a very interesting character in the Long Halloween, and he only showed up in the last chapter, and turns himself in to Batman and Gordon, and gets locked up at Arkham. Now the sequel Dark Victory, pretty much sucked ass, and Two-Face was in that whole entire book!

I'm counting the guys that WWE put in the face faction called "ECW Originals". Was I the only one who thought the New Breed faction was beyond terrible?

    ECW on Sci-Fi (7/22/2008)

I thought the new belt looked very nice, then again, I've always been a mark for silver. Especially a silver/blue color scheme. I too was puzzled and laughed my ass off at this. I've been puzzled ever since his return to TV back in June. I mean, why is this guy still employed? Didn't he get caught with steriods too a few months back?

    Smackdown Spoilers for 7/25

I got a bad feeling that the WWE will keep trying to turn one of them face every week, but it won't get over. So then the fans are stuck with a heel vs. heel feud, and they both fall out of the spotlight, since the feud didn't get over with the fans at all.

    The Dark Knight

I can understand the Two-Face/Venom comparisions, but Two-Face's character actually had substance. He was in the last 40 mins. of the movie, and they told everything you needed to know. Now look at Venom, he simply shows up at the end of the movie, is passed off as Spider-Man's evil twin and nothing more. Venom is a very complex character that could have spread through 2 other movies, one where he is a bad guy, the other where he is good. Yet, Sony decided to put him in the end of Spider-Man 3 just to make a quick buck, and now they have nothing interesting to do for a sequel, the director and cast don't want to do any more, and they need to find a writer. I think the Spider-Man series is at a dead end now.

    The Dark Knight

Yes, but I don't know how many other actors could just disappear into the role. Thats what I think is mind blowing about Ledger's performance, you can't even recognize him. You really feel like you are watching THE JOKER. Thats what I loved the most about The Dark Knight, that the actors just disappeared into their roles. Oldman IS Gordon, Eckhart IS Dent, Bale IS Batman. Rachel Dawes was the only character that felt like someone acting, but then again, I don't think that character is that good anyway.

I think its really funny that he still has that Kaz name from that Serintonin group. Anyone still remember that?

    Smackdown Spoilers for 7/25

This is the same thing I thought once I saw Raw put belts on Punk and Kofi. I worried that Smackdown would become what Raw used to be, and thats exactly whats happening, a boring show that has no direction. It makes it worst that they went with the dreaded Vickie face turn, and doing the thing I hate, where the Taker comes back as a puppet.

    The Dark Knight

I wouldn't recast the Joker either, since I think they did everything interesting about him in this movie, but if they do recast, they need to find someone similar to Ledger, someone who takes acting seriously. Thats why I think Johnny Depp would be good, since I can't think of a bad performance he's had.

    The Dark Knight

Actually, I was thinking since , and also it fits well with the theme of Batman inspired villains. She can be a love interest too as Selina Kyle, and be a villain thats not really all bad, and helps Batman at times. She would fit well into Nolan's complexity of the series. As for the main villain? I go with the Riddler's current character in the comics. It fits well with the ending of The Dark Knight, and he also could be a bad guy who does good. As for my casting choice, I pick Hugo Weaving.
  22. DarKnight

    The Dark Knight

I too, think Depp is the only way to go, but if the Joker didn't have that big of a part in the next movie, then why not just write him out. We know he's at Arkham, so its not like they forgot about him. Oh and also, Back to the Lizard analysis. I know the first Spider-Man mentions him, and he's actually a character in the next 2 movies, they never hint at all that he's going to transform into the Lizard. I think its a good call that he will appear as that in the next movie though. In The Dark Knight, they actually set up Catwoman for the next movie. Plus I think Warner Bros. would want us to forget about that 2004 fiasco, so they might want Nolan to have her in the next movie. Does anyone else think its funny that the god-awful Catwoman movie came out the year before Batman Begins? I mean they basically tried to kill one character's popularity, and then revive another.
  23. DarKnight

    The Dark Knight

Catwoman should be a lock to be in the next movie since It would be the most logical choice.

    Sandman arrested

Dreamer is pretty much the last guy left that was labeled an ECW original. RVD (caught with weed, leaves the next year), Sabu (shows up late to a show and doesn't care if he's fired), Sandman (gone), Balls Mahoney (gone, and also jobs to the Miz every week!), so Dreamer is pretty much the only guy left employed, plus I think he may have an office job too doesn't he? Unless I'm forgeting anyone else, I'm pretty sure he's the only guy left.

    WWE Raw (7/21/2008)

I don't think an EC match is happening at SS either. Although, didn't WWE get rid of the New Year's Revolution PPV? So I don't know when else to pull it out.
