On the other hand you have the blind Jarrett hater, who can't back up his arguements. I can admit i am biased for Jarrett, but i also can admit when i'm wrong. You instantly hate anyone who doesn't share your opinion, yet you banned MikeSC for the same thing. Now back on Topic. Like I said Jarrett need to drop the belt badly, but Monty is the move they need to make. I'm not with whoever thinks AJ can't be a long term champion. I think he would be a fine champion. Just not now...he could win it from brown, cuz the last thing TNA needs, is Jarrett right back in the hunt for it after he loses it. That's good one. Seriously. I'm busting a gut. Stop. My sides can't take anymore. Not even close. I disagree with numerous posters, but I don't hate any of them. Life's too short. Do you even know what you're talking about here ? Check out Site Feedback for why Mike got banned. AJ would mike a fine long term champion, because the live crowds to TNA's free tapings and PPV's go nuts for him time after time, and his match quality, and quality PPV matches in general, are what get the bulk of the buys for their PPV's, which TNA's own research has shown. And the last thing TNA needs surely is Jeff being right back in the title hunt. For obvious reasons, I don't see that ever happening.

Is anyone else bored with the Jarrett mark yet ?
-
Jeff wants only one long term champion; himself. He doesn't want to put AJ over for the belt, and is doing so very reluctantly. Neither he or Jerry Jarrett want him to drop the belt, and they're both trying to find a way to get full control back so Jeff doesn't have to lose the belt at all. That's why they're arguing for Monty to be the one Jeff should lose to, because the time it'll need to be bult up might give them the time to wrest control of TNA, and so the job can then get cancelled.

Cornette Given Leave of Absence by WWE
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to Zack Malibu's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't care if Cornette called him a cumsucking gutterslut. Problems between talent should be sorted between the talent, with mangement only being involved as a last possible resort. Unless Cornette came at Bubba with a .45 Magnum, Bubba should just have gone to Cornette in private and sorted it out like that. By moaning to Lauranitis, he showed himself to be a total pussy. -
Of the specific names listed, the choice is obvious.

I'll have to get back to you on that last one. I'm still trying to figure out how someone can be themselves, and yet be acting, when them being themselves precludes acting.

Cornette Given Leave of Absence by WWE
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to Zack Malibu's topic in The WWE Folder
Bubba is one heck of a baby. If I'm getting paid a downside of $250,000 a year and I'm still in the middle of a long ass holiday, Cornette can shout and yell at me all day if he wants to. -
If they're being themselves, how can they be acting ? If a person is being themselves, they aren't acting.
-
No, Terry Bollea IS Hulk Hogan. It's just an exagerrated version. Same thing with Austin. Austin was not a great actor during his hot run. He was just good at being himself in front of a crowd. There's a difference. The best personalities in wrestling are like that. They aren't acting, they're just being themselves, but with more volume. Sadly, it's a point that gets lost on a lot of people.
-
The trouble with that theory is that the people don't look at wrestling like it's a genuine acting performance. If people want to see good acting, they're going to watch a drama. People want characters and personalities they believe in, and the truly great personalities don't act; they just be themselves, and turn the volume up. And that isn't acting, because they're not pretending to be what they're not.

Mike got banned, and a bunch of people went nuts over it in Site Feedback. Somewhere in all the complaining, INXS got banned, but nobody cared, because people were too busy complaining about Mike getting banned The Current Events folder. It's a lot like Hitler. That's the thread with all the drama. Mike gets banned halfway down page 2.

Steve Austin and The Undertaker v Kane and Mankind saw Kane and Mankind come out, Austin come out, but with no Undertaker. Bearer locked himself in the cage while Kane and Mankind brawled with Austin. Undertaker then came up from beneath the ring, and beat Bearer up, with Bearer blading. It was an angle, and not an actual match.

This Raw depresses me, if only because of badly Jericho had his legs cut off. That crowd went absolutely apeshit for his win over Triple H, but whatever good came of it was snuffed out when he lost clean later that night. Were Bradshaw or Farrooq really that important that they couldn't have been the ones to do the job ?
-
Cawthon's site and WIA both list Steve Austin and The Undertaker v Kane and Mankind has an official match, with a no-contest finish.

Hogan has said similar things about Andre dying in previous interviews, with Andre dying anywhere from three years later to later that year to, as in this case, just days later. He's never corrected himself over any of those interviews. I doubt Hogan really thinks Andre died days later, but I'd say Hogan thinks it makes a nice story, and telling a story, especially one that his total fiction, is something he's made a career of. It's the same with any interview he gives. He likes to tell what the thinks makes a good story, regardless of whether what he's saying is true or not.

"I love what you do to babies"
-
Instead of thinking of ways to get cute but totally useless interviewers over, why not spend time on trying to get wrestlers over, seeing as they are the ones who actually draw the money.
-
That's what makes his banning so funny. He wouldn't have been banned at all if he had just kept calm, and not thrown a temper tantrum.
-
I don't think Hogan is capable of telling the truth anymore. He's so used to working, ie: lying, that he can't help but lie, even when there is zero reason to do so, and even when he knows full well that people will easily find out that he's lying. He can't help himself.
-
Once the audience have decided you suck, it's really hard to change that perception. Whether Chris Masters gets really good in 4 years time or not doesn't matter, because he's getting pushed in the here and now, and in the here and now he sucks, and it's that sucky wrestler who people are seeing and judging, and not the peformer he might or might not become in 4-6 years.
-
I'll see his ass, and raise you a torso and a three fingers.
-
Just for the record, I was going let him back in in about 24 hours, and he may have been let back in before that if another Mod felt like it.
-
Maybe it's because I actually respect wrestlers, but I don't think it's too much to ask that people don't dick around in a thread announcing the guy's retirement, and where he talks honestly and emotively about leaving the business. If people really find it that important to be a dick, make a thread elsewhere.
-
If I got my jollies out of suspending people, I'd have suspended more people than just you. And if you have such a low opinion of the WWE folder, then why are you throwing a temper tantrum over not being able to post there ?
-
I guess it might have been the fact that nobody in wrestling who talked about Rico had a bad word to say about the guy, and that whenever his name was brought in various interviews, people had nothing but praise for him. Speak for yourself.
