Why on earth would it be anything other than a complete work ? If it happens, it will be a horrible match that will probably obliterate the negative star scale, and when all is said and done it'll mean nothing.

It doesn't stop being different, but being different alone isn't always enough to be a draw. It has to be special as well, and it being done so often makes it less special and less of a draw. Sure, it's still different, but it's also not special anymore.

Gorilla was pretty good up until around 89-90. I think his best work was in the early 80's.

If a sepcial is done all the time, it stops being special or different, and that damages its drawing power.

While that idea looks bad on paper, it did have a certain logic to it. NOAH fans, like All Japan fans, weren't popping for anything in the top matches until the 15:00 minute mark, because they 'knew' it wasn't going to end yet. Therefore, what better way to educate them to not taking anything for granted by having a GHC Title match end in less than 5 minutes ? Sure, it might have hurt the GHC Title a little, but if fans see the top title changing in sub-5 minute matches, it better educates them to other top matches possibly ending at any time.
