Well, that baby looks scared, but that might be because you look a little like Feinstein.

NOAH 3/5 Results - Kobashi vs Rikio

That is why the GHC Title is probably the most credible major title in wrestling. Challengers are built up well, and the matches are all usually good to great, with clean finishes. Nothing stupid happens with the title, and fans take it seriously, which is why title matches draw so well.

It's been suggested it might be a work, and some in WWE think it is a work. We'll know if it's a work if they do something on Raw.

    Suck 'n' Cum wrestling, maybe.

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

Instead of dropping the WWF Title to Sid at the Thursday Raw special before the Feb 1997 IYH, Shawn vacted the belt instead, claimg to have 'lost his smile', and wanting to take a break from wrestling to recharge. It was just his way of avoiding another job.

Someone just called into WOL about it. Dave doesn't know what managament thinks. Dave thinks if they do something about this, they'd have to do something to a lot of the rest of the roster too. He thinks Matt will likely to go to Smackdown. Dave also thinks that if it is an angle, then we'll know tomorrow. Dave doesn't think it's an angle, but people in the company think it is one. If anything does happen to anyone over it, it'll be hypocritical, because they are not reacting to what was done, but what went public.

Do you think it was over Bret's declining mental state and depression post-Montreal and being misused by WCW? Plus Julie didn't seem like the nicest person in Wrestling w/ Shadows It might have been over Montreal. I know in the days and weeks after it, Bret felt very betrayed at what happened. I thought Julie was probably the sanest person in Wrestling With Shadows.

Didn't Bret end up getting divorced over it? His wife must have believed it enough to start suspecting him. I don't know the specifics of Bret and Julie divorcing, but I've never heard anything about it relating to Sunny. I don't think there has been any credible talk about a Bret-Sunny affair.

I guarantee that Vince will capitalize on this if he can. He loves to fan the flames of any animosity that wrestlers or staff have; he gets kicks out of riling JR up from time to time, and also egged on Shawn and Bret's animosity. As for "Bret fucking Candido's wife", I don't beleive that has ever been confirmed by anyone, and was only ever alluded to by Shawn one time on Raw. Certainly Sunny and Chris have always denied it as far as I know.

Could you trust them to work together, though? -=Mike Given the right push, all involved would make a ton of money, and that's all you to ensure trust, given that neither man has anywhere else to go if they get fired.

Put them in a program, with Matt coming out on top. It'll be the hottest thing on Raw, and I guarantee the interviews would be off the charts intense.

What's so hard about not getting into a long-term relationship if you don't feel you can be faithful? Why intentionally fuck over somebody who obviously cares for you like that? Unfortunately, a lot of people can overestimate their ability to handle the road, and even those that can handle it can see it wear them down over the years. Infidelity is wrong, and I would never deny that. It's just a sad fact that the wrestling lifestyle can make it extremely hard, if not virtually impossible, to remain faithful.

You are confusing understanding for defending. Once again, and I'll make it clear as day so there is doubt, I do not defend what happened between Edge and Lita, but I can understand why it happened. If anyone else around here has been in that situation they can understand why it happened. They'll not defend it, but they'll understand it.

I'm not defending what Edge did and said so at the end of my post. If you saw my statement as defending what he did, when I clearly said that I didn't, then that's your problem. I just wanted to try and get across that point that infedility in the wrestling business is not as black and white an issue as people seem to think it is. The wives are just as lonely at home without their husbands, and while they have more ways to distract from the loneliness that don't involve cheating, trying to claim that 99% are faithful is absurd. Nice idea in theory, but it doesn't work like that in the real world. I don't doubt that most married men try and put their days of womanising, but a lot of them fall off the wagon. In an ideal world, once a man got married, he'd never have eyes for another woman again, but it doesn't work like that most of the time.

Ditto. They do get SOME time to go home during the week, so "loneliness" doesn't really work as a valid excuse. While the wrestlers do get some time off, it's not always on a set schedule, so it's still not easy planning time with a spouse or significant other. And loneliness is a very valid excuse, because your not just away from home while on the road. There is also the stresses and troubles of everything else on the road, like getting up at 6 in the morning, so you can pay for a taxi or hire car to get to the airport so you can drag your shit through customs for the first flight out, so you can sit in a cramped seat and not catch up on any of the sleep you lost the night before so you can arrive at the next town, drag your shit through customs, pay for a taxi or hire a car to take you to the next hotel so you can then try and find a decent meal or something approaching a gym that you can work out in before you going to the arena, wait around for hours on end before wrestling a 15-20 minute match, before you get your shit together and make your way back to the hotel at midnight, so you can try and get to sleep before you have to wake up at 6 the next morning to start the whole routine over again. That takes a toll on a person, both mentally and physically, and with the best will in the world not a lot of people can go through that without reaching for some kind of comfort, whether it's through pills, drink or a woman. Add to that the strains of trying to keep a relationship together while spending 250+ days on the road, and even when you do get home you've still got all the stuff to do that you couldn't do while on the road which means even less time to spend with your significant other, and I can easily understand why someone, even a devoted married man, would eventually crumble and seek refuge in the arms of someone he spends more time with than his own family. "The road will own you" is a phrase quite common among the old time wrestlers, and in this case it "owned" two people who have to go suffer a physical and emotional toll that few people here can ever understand because they've never gone through it. I don't condone what Edge or Lita have done, but I can absolutely understand why it happened, and if anyone here had the first clue about what those two put themselves through to entertain people, then I doubt they'd be so quick to judge and condemn them. To summarise its ok to cheat when you have a rough schedule. Congratulations on missing the point entirely.

Yeah, Vince is really going to punish Edge for having an affair with Lita(!) Vince: Edge, it was out of order to have an affair, so I'm gonna have to relegate you to Heat: Edge: Rita Chatterton says hi Vince: So is winning the World's Title in the main event at Wrestlemania 22 good for you ? About the only thing that would get a wrestler punished in WWE is doing something that harms either their business or their reputation, and since this hasn't done either yet, nothing will happen.

    Mid South thoughts

The strangest part about Watts' promo after the flag angle, at least if you watch it today, is he talks about 'poor Afghanistan', as they'd just been invaded by the Soviet Union. Say what you want about his booking in WCW, but in Mid-South Bill Watts was a genius in booking. Angles made sense, nothing nonsensical happened, and it was awesome stuff.

Edge's may have told his wife out of guilt, or fear that someone else would tell her. And the other wrestlers probably knew before she did, but didn't say anything because they felt it wasn't their place to.
