Jesse hasn't aged too well, but he can still cut it on the mic. -
Time shaving. A lot of '20 minute draws' were really only fifteen minutes because they cut time.

Shane's a part-time worker, and even that is a stretch. It looks silly for him to wrestle a few times a year and stand up to, and hold his own against, stars. Whether he's trained or not, he's still seen as a non-wrestler, and he shouldn't be able to look competitive against the top names in the company. It makes other wrestlers look weak if they can't hold their own against people that a non-wrestler, who gets in the ring a few times a year, and can look competitive against. -

Yeah, it'll be on the PPV. It'll be on DVD eventually, I would think, just not until after it airs on PPV. -

They're all trained wrestlers who have years of experience. Just because Shane is a 'decent sized guy', doesn't mean he should go toe-to-toe with anyone. If Shane can just don a tracksuit and t-shirt and start hanging in there with people like Lashley, it makes it look like anyone can do it. -

The Danielson/McGuinness match will not be on the DVD of 6/9, which isn't going down too well over in ROH-land. -
Only if Johnny Ace can be the 'producer' for his matches again. Sid's time has long passed. He'll get a big nostalgia pop should he return, and then he'll get less and less of a reaction as people start to realize he's even worse than he used to be and the reality doesn't match the fantasy.

Apart from the aforementioned Joe match, I thought his match with Senshi at BFG last year was good.

I think Bradley has either left the business or fallen off the radar to where he may as well have. Waterman went back to MMA, where he's had a 8-4-1 record since returning. Bradley had terrible luck, as he never got that break his talents seemed to warrant. Waterman had his age going against him; he was 35 when he signed his developmental deal. He was compared, physically, to Scott Steiner, as they bore a strong, if superficial, resemblance.

Keep on hoping. No way the people here will be able to resist calling in and either talking about the board or ripping into someone here. I don't see myself being the subject of the first board related call. If anyone is, it'll be Leena.

There was a short-lived 'TSM Radio', that saw Dangerous A tape a show which he would then upload.

Because if any match should be thrown out there with no hype or build it's the Raw champion vs. the Smackdown champion. -

That could work. We'd probably have to raise the total number of picks, maybe to ten.

Steve-O versus Shane McMahon. -
Ratings wise, yes, but the UFC name has so much more credibility while being incredibly successful, which I'm sure Spike are happy to be associated with. I think Spike are more than happy with their choice of programming.

It's one thing for the Jackass guys to laugh on their own show, but within the context of a wrestling show, for these guys to laugh as they're getting beaten up makes the wrestlers look bad, because they're actually selling the beating. What does it say when the Jackass guys laugh off getting the crap beaten out of them, while someone like Batista or John Cena has to actually sell the beating they're taking? Why do something that breaks the illusion in the middle of the show? Sure, people laughing through a beating might happen in real life, but this isn't real. Have you told them not to order the PPV if they're expecting to see some Jackass-level insanity? That's the one big problem of this whole deal. Anyone buying this expecting to see the Jackass crew do Jackass-level stunts is going to be disappointed. -

If they're bringing in Jackass, presumably they want them to be like they are on Jackass. What could they possibly be allowed to do in WWE that could come anywhere close what they do their show? You've got to think that anyone who tunes in to see Summerslam because of the Jackass guys is going to expect something of incredible insanity out of them, and I don't think Vince is going to let that happen, no matter what Ms Hammer says. Whatever happens, this whole deal is sure to make for some interesting politics over the next two and half months. -

That much is true, but my point is that you can only do the celebrity deal sparingly for it to mean as much as you think it can. I think it's a little too soon to try and go back down the celebrity route. -

And yes, in theory bringing in the 'celebrities' of Jackass will gain attention, but WWE have just done the celebrity deal with Donald Trump. It's a little soon to be going back to that well for it to mean the most that it could. -

A really shitty movie with a devoted core of fans can still make money. Doesn't mean the movie is any good. It just means that their core fans will see the movie, repeatedly. Assuming the Jackass angle even makes it to Summerslam, which would be an achievement in itself, I will be stunned if it ends up meaning anything or if anyone cares about them when the matches take place. -

Yes. Three or four years ago when they meant something, people gave a shit about them. Now, they're just circus freaks doing stupid stunts that nobody outside of their core fans give a crap about. There's no buzz around them now.
