Glad to see El Presidente's top priorities for his last year in office: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...8010201493.html I know, I know, it's a cliche, but fuck Bush.

McCain today:

Either one of those sons would make a right dandy avatar.

It's funny that 9iu11iani was my top R, considering I think he would be the absolute worst of all the Republicans. Quote from today, RE: Iowa: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2...k_campaign.html

Top 3 Obama 18 Edwards 18 Clinton 17 Bottom 3 Hunter 4 Thompson 4 Romney 5 Top Republicans Giuliani 10 Paul 9

Is that photoshopped? *shiver*

Gravel is out too... Pretty sure Obama's offered him the VP spot to withdraw. Most likely. -New Republic blog I wanna see a Chuck vs. Chuck debate (Barkley vs. Norris).

I like the unified theory.

Biden & Dodd dropped out.

I thought John Edwards' speech was awesome. btw, I nailed the D side on the predickshuns, not so much the R.

good: marriage, made new friends, did a better job at teaching, put in good work on Kentucky elections (and won), ran second best 5K time ever, got a pretty awesome place to live bad: working in a job I'm not crazy about Seems good overall.

I disagree.

I will be happy with either an Edwards or Obama win. I'm still undecided, although I have donated to Obama by going to a rally (not that it really matters who I vote for, since I live in a late primary state).

Giuliani? What are you smoking?

Any Iowa predictions? I say: D 1. Obama 2. Edwards 3. Clinton R 1. Romney 2. Huckabee 3. McCain 4. Paul Let's see how wrong I am tomorrow.

Agree with Czech and Ripper on Boyz II Men. I've been listening to Dropkick Murphys and The Clash lately. I'm not sure what kind of kick that is.

Milky, my deceased Grandaddy Smith made Old Crow almost his entire life. He actually walked several miles everyday to the distillery. The distillery is closed down now, and it's kind of creepy. Sometimes I run or bike out there.

It's called a negative externality. People aren't paying the "real" cost for a gallon of gasoline now. Especially considering all of the tax breaks and other assorted goodies Congress handed out to oil companies in the last energy bill. (I actually think cap and trade is probably going to be the way the nation goes on this issue, rather than a carbon tax.)

Dandy (EHME) pretty much hit the nail on the head. I've been a competitive runner for several years now. One of the biggest things I've noticed is strength (even upper body strength) has made me a better runner. I am probably a better runner at a fairly strong 157 lbs. than I was at a bony 145 lbs. Also, don't over train. I realized that there was a threshold where I was just running too much and just making myself exhausted all the time rather than actually improving my running.

Don't do it! Reconsider! Read some liter- ture on the subject..

Well, the War on Christmas failed again. I guess it's back to the barricades.

Are you getting a second dog to make up for how ugly the original dog is? -
France was right.
