I sent the fat Republican teacher a link to the CNN site debunking the madrasa story. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I can cure her stupid.

Last year someone used our building email to spread the old "Oliver North/Al Gore/Osama bin Laden" myth. I did an all-building reply with a hyperlink to the Snopes page that debunked it, and the guy later apologized. I don't know that myth. Could you link to it here?

Hey, that article that you posted was actually kind of interesting Czech. It was kind of sad about how the thing where you sponsor children is pretty much a big fraud, according to the guy being interviewed there.

One of my students told me he wasn't voting for Richardson because he's a Spaniard. *sigh* And that's in my honors class.

Don't get me wrong, Czech is my nucka for life. But he is constantly ragging on nocal when nocal, the lovable oaf, is probably just as knowledgeable about the topics discussed as he is, if not more. I think Byron the Bulb is becoming a "posts-a-lot-but-somehow-remains-too-cool-for-TSM" bot, if that's possible. Or maybe he's Spoontoaster. That guy was great.

Yeah, like when he posted that pertinent article from the LA Times about Somalia & Czech gave him shit for it. Czech would make a good TV pundit or op-ed columnist--pretending to know a lot about politics, etc. but actually being extremely superficial & not knowing what he's talking about most of the time.

Funny how all of these Rs up for reelection in 08 keep coming out against the surge. I think Elizabeth Dole just made some noise recently, too.
