Take that back. Tesh's NBA theme was awesome.

It is rare, though. Especially among established democracies.

I'm voting for a Republican for magistrate.

So? Self-inflicted suffering just to help the Democratic Party? He's done ads for pro-stem cell research Republicans too, FYI.

Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's, & the gout all have a noted liberal bias.

Is that Marvin as Xerxes?

Fox wouldn't have a chance. No way, it's hard to hit someone who won't stay still. Bob & weave!

How the fuck do you beat shop class? I can't even beat shop I. Every time I push a button the kids slams his hand in the bike.

You have to go through the boxing training. It makes your punches more powerful. Man, I can't even pass the 1st class in Shop. I keep screwing up the controller commands somehow. And I'm stuck in English 4. I guess I could just write down the letters & figure out a bunch of words in advance.

O.J Simpson to write book that details murders

Wait, this isn't what happened? -
I just got this yesterday. It's really fun so far. Just got into Chapter 2. I've passed all of the gym & chemistry classes, but I failed my last tries in English, shop, & art.

O.J Simpson to write book that details murders

Double Jeopardy will never be done away. It eliminates the whole "Right to a fair trial" thing if they can keep going after you again and again until they find a jury that says "Guilty". Obviously, if it was repealed, measures would have to be taken to assure you don't have someone being put on trial 3 or 4 times. And it could only be used in exceptional circumstances. It was repealed in the UK to convict a man that murdered a young woman, so it's not unthinkable to say it could happen in the US. Especially if OJ is out bragging about how he's a murderer and can't be tried again. Um, I don't think the 5th Amendment is getting repealed anytime soon, guy. -
Remind me not to attempt rational discussion with Spicy again.

Mexico has been introducing a universal health care system gradually. The results thus far: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=51433 via American Prospect Tapped weblog

A Harvard phD, a staff infection, & a harelip.

I would argue that you're being an ideologue here, Spicy. I showed how the universal system that Mexico is transitioning to is improving a great deal of health indicators there. Well, by most health indicators (infant mortality, life expectancy, other measures mentioned in the article I posted, etc.) countries with universal care are healthier than those without. Couple that with the fact that administrative costs are significantly lower in single payer systems, and practicality (coupled with your purported compassion) would call for universal health care. Convince me that practicality, not ideology, is fueling your argument. I'm all about results. I take the liberal position on most issues, but that's because, based on my observations/readings, the liberal position is more practical. For instance, on the issue of gun control, I have seen that it doesn't work (in England, for example) so I have taken the anti-gun control position.

I will join your message board for dental insurance, 9 sick days a year, and 3 month maternity leave. And a rimjob.

Close this thread. Czech and Inc just made it Classics worthy.

should've explained further. i am preparing to go to school to be a history teacher. need money so... right now i work as a teacher assistant in grade 5. its an eye opener to the politics in working in a school system. it pays well enough to pay for school next year and it allows me to get a position in the system when i'm finished. i've decided that i am willing to pass on working in secondary school for elementary. it has really grown on me. Think about it long and hard. Teaching is a pretty hard job, at least from my experience so far. Having nice long breaks is cool, though. And sometimes kids actually learn stuff. That's okay, too.
