Don West has gotten SO much better at color commetary than he was in the beganing. I mean I HATED him with his "OMG this is the greatest wrestling I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!" commetating, but he is getting alot better. I think thats why he is easy to tolorate to me now, because he was SO bad back in the day.

Well, you suggested that these people do not deserve charity because a: Local goverment fucked things up and should have done a better job b: They were too stupid to leave when they got the warning. You gradually stopped blaming the people without the ability to leave, so what does that leave? A. And you were arguring reasons NOT to give carity to the people...now if you reasoning behind that is the goverment fucked up...well....there you go.

Not many people have talked about the New Jersey Nets recently. Funny considering that they are the last Eastern Conference team that has shown they can consistantly beat the Pistons. Aside from a healthy Kidd and Richard Jefferson, they got Carter, Added Marc Jackson who I believe will be a monster number guy with Kidd on the court, and have Kristc as a up and coming big man in the middle. Add in Lamond Murry, Scott Padgent, Jeff McGinnis to back up Kidd, and a around player like Clifford Robinson...they are going to have a hell of a team if everyone stays healthy.

Because dying people are going to care what the reasoning was behind a person getting them food? Who gives a fuck why anyone is giving. That is a waste of time. The fact of the matter is that the city is going to have to be rebuilt and i don't care if a person is doing it because they believe that it bring JFK back from the dead, the important thing is that itis getting done. And the WTC comparison ends with there was NOTHING that the people could do themselves to prevent what happend to them. As fesible as taking a family of kids hundreds of miles away with supplies strapped to your back on a BIKE might seem to you, that is not even a slightly realistic option for, oh say, 99% of the people stuck there. So you admit that it was alot of the goverment's fault then you ask why should you help these people? The goverment screwed them, so fuckem, let them die...that will show the government. Sticking it to local government and discovering people true motivation for giving is not more important than human lives.

Yeah, I was just surfin the net and stumbled upon nationalvanguard.org. It happens to alot of us.

well thats just shoddy reporting. How do you talk about Scott Baio and not mention Charles in Charge or him directing the Parkers. Shoddy shoddy reporting.

Vicks teams have gotten futher than Culpepper's teams ever have. If Vick isn't proven, the Dante definatley isn't. Vick has lost 2 close games in the playoffs while being a starter only for 2 full seasons. I personally think that the Falcons are the team to beat in their Division, but Carolina has such a cupcake schedule while the Falcons have a schedule of a team that went 11-5. Its going to be tough.
-
So...they have a game....that you just....Run.... ... that shit really better be free.
-
Hopefully the Falcons put the beat down on so Skip Bayless will shut the fuck up. I was just reading his article on ESPN about how he thinks Vick puts his running above winning, when he is, what, 24-11 as a starter and 2-2 in the playoffs. Anyone want to throw Peytons Playoff record in there?

Nope, I am saying it was the best place. If he started talking about social security, then fine, complain all day. But he was talking about the subject at hand. The teleprompter was probably the same ol "Millions of homes have been lost. Thousands of lives have been lost. please help these people." stuff that was said a thousand times, but at the same time this was contridicting ALOT of the coverage that the same channels were doing of the hurricane. I don't watch the news to hear reporters talk about how the people look like animals. I don't watch it to hear "How can they expect people to help them if they are acting like this". I don't want to hear at a press conference about helping the people in New Orleansabout how military was sent in that "know how to kill and will" when it pertains to the "looting" of grocery stores. Where are the people taking them to task for their off the cuff, unscripted comments? One person who DID take them to task was Kanye when he was given the opportunity. Like I said, in essense, he defended the people that were getting a bad rap all day, then all of a sudden they were the subject of a relief fund. He dubunked the images that were across the screen most of the day by stating that the media was misrepresnting the victims. If he hadn't topped it off with the Bush comment, I don't think many people could argue with what did.
-
Why would he? Leno isn't shown on 8-10 channels at once. The largest audience that he would be able to speak to at one time, short of runningout on the field right before Superbowl kickoff, was right there. For some reason, I think if he went off script and said "people need to lay off the critisizm of the media and of George Bush, they are only doing their jobs and to the best of their ability" people wouldn't have been bitching about him needing to keep his mouth shut.
-
Yet I am not the only one that agreed that what he said was right and others in this thread have agreed that he should have said it. But I am the PR for black people and they can do no wrong. Just continue being the guy too stupid to actually add to a conversation and just throw in a stupid, non-funny one liner so you can imagine people going "Oh, that Rant" and leave the discussing of the matter to people with a brain.
-
Because me saying it was wrong of him to say that about bush in noway is saying he is wrong. Ripper- Can read.
-
You are a fucking idiot. 26% of the WORKING population there didn't have cars. The average income amoung the blacks was 11,000 dollars a goddamn year. The bus stations closed the saturday before the storm. What the fuck were they supposed to do? Walk? They had no money. Before anyone says that stupid "Pawn some stuff" bullshit, WHAT PAWN SHOP WOULD BE OPEN BEFORE A HURRICANE? No one expects you to feel guilty but I do expect you to not be fucking retarded and use common sense. The state said "Pack up your stuff get in your cars and evacuate" to a bunch of people without cars. They had just as much chance to get away as the people in the WTC had to get away from the planes coming. They simply COULDN'T go anywhere. If you don't want to contribute to the relief, then fine, but trying to bust on someone for doing so is your mother smoking crack, diped in crystal meth and vodka and sumo wrestling while pregnant with you stupid.
-
No, he would have gotten heat for having the nerve to call a press conference about it while there were people in New Orleans suffering. Everything he said prior to Bush Doesn't Care about Black people pertained directly to what was going on in New Orleans at the time, and the channels showing the telethon for the people there were the same media that were portraying the survivors as lawless, looting animals that were too stupid to leave when the disastor was coming. Even if you don't want to see it this way, Kanye basically defended the people that they were there to get the money for. As soon as that telethon went off, the news networks went right back to showing why the people didn't need the money because they were busy stealing TV's as if it wasn't INCREDIBLY easy to move the camera over 3 feet to watch a mother trying to get diapers for her baby. Basically he called out the networks for their hypocracy, and he did it at the right time. he could have kept the Bush comment to himself, but everything else was alot more useful than the same ol crap everyone was reading off the teleprompter that was basically the same 3 lines over and over and over.
-
I think that if you actually believe in what he was saying, you are a bit of a coward and a hypocrite for not using that time, when you are on a show that is being shown on all the major networks at the same time, to tell what you believe is happening. Once again, George Bush doesn't care about Black people is a big bomb, but everything he said prior to that was pretty much true and necessary.
-
I have read it as Queef too. Never would have known that it was Quiff if someone hadn't mentioned it in this thread.
-
You know....I don't...really...know. I just know he is fucking powerful....and can stretch....and...well....he is fucking powerful....
-
Well, John Derbyshire did write it. That makes it irrelevant.
-
He didn't think anyone would actually read the article.
-
I expect you people to figure it out on your own.... ... okay, I forgot to put the guys name.... Cole Magner. He was a receiver from Bowling Green that looked REALLY good in the preseason, but apparently he hurt his ankle and missed the last couple of Atlanta preseason games and they cut him.

I was just going to say that. When the match is praised as unbelieveable, you come in, through no fault of your own, looking for flaws. Its human nature. When you come in with a blank slate, you can see it for what its worth. That say, Joe/Sabin was a damn fine match to me and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

On "Roses" I just look forward to Kanye finishing his pretty much garbage rap in that song for the great production and singing. I love Gone for Consequence's incredible verse, and Really Doe's hook on We Major. The whole album is incredibly strong though.

Thats one of those things that wasn't funny the first time, but might get a chuckle through repetition.
