    Ripper punches people

He was implying that I was trying to mug the three of them and that video camera boy was there with me. Of course this makes no sense as, why would I mug three people and call the cops? He was also trying to imply that because I was a black guy I was the criminal. He kept saying "Look at this guy and look at my son...I think you know who attacked who." Honestly, it looked like the cop wanted to punch him then. And apparently they had a report of someone doing something like this to a lady close to the area at the bus station (the Bus station is down the street from the movies) so it was probably them that did it to her and who knows how many times they did it and the people just didn't report it.

John Legizamo(sp) will be reason enough to watch this movie acting wise. Asia Argento for the visuals. SO it all works out.

The funniest part was the two cowboys that really hit the SHIT out of the big guy. And their huge belt buckles were shimmering in the moonlight like superheros. The basically pulled a Total Elimination on the guy only with tackles instead of the usual combination.

    a confused Lakers fan

Then you aren't a Laker fan, you are a player fan. I don't care if Karl malone, Bruce Bowen, Kobe Bryant, Alonzo Mourning and Derek Fisher all got traded to the Suns (theyare my all nba "I don't like these guys" first team) I would still route for the suns like a mutha fucka.

So the Knicks are so going to cut Allan Houston, because if they don't use the time to do it now, they are retarded. There are talks that the Mavs might cut Michael Finley.

Well, I love that fucking trade. A guy like Thomas that can bring some toughness up front, hit the midrange jumper, crash the boards....goood. And with the trade of richardson, I guess that shows they are going to throw some cash in the direction of Joe Johnson, so I am happy. Its amazing. A guy who I absolutly hated on my teamfor years is pretty much the key to their success now. Good first offseason move for the suns.

The Top 50 NBA Players of My Generation

I think that you can build a championship around a dominant big man with a bunch of role players around Him. All they have to do is be able to shoot, rebound or play D and the fact that there is a dominant big man that demands a double, they just need to do the fundamentals. Guards, for the most part are tough to double, which is why everyone played Jordan one on one. Don't get me wrong, its tough as it has probably only happend around that time of the Rockets, but alot of teams got close (Knicks, Spurs come to mind). And Rendclaw I wouldn't say no doubt about Jordan being the best in history.

Its a team sport though. Being a great player means absolute shit. Since 84, its been 7 teams(i think) that have won the championship. You can't legitimately say that every other player in the leauge that didn't play for one of 7 teams weren't great players. That is just ridiculous.

The Top 50 NBA Players of My Generation

The list isn't whose career you would take, its who was the better player. And no one here is going to argue that Robert Horry is a better player than Karl Malone. And I don't think you can seriously argue that there have been 30-40 players better than Scottie Pippen since 1984. Charles Barkley was on a horrible team in Philly and they were losing, but he was still a GREAT player and one of the best in the league. If this was a list of best teams since 84, then I could see the Championship argument, but if you are argueing best individual players, then championships are kinda a moot point. Because only a few teams have won championships. That doesn't mean everyone else in the league sucked.

    NBA Finals

I saw Horry do that three times in game 5. To me undercutting is just as bad as roll blocking in football. Even if he was going for the ball he still hit him in the face man. I don't get why you're okay with that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because that shit will happen while swinging at the ball. I mean, its like when a guy gets bumped, and they call the foul and he gets fouled again on the continuation. Alot of time the second foul is harder/worse, but you don't call the second guy for a foul too. A dead play is a dead play and shit like that happens all the time. I can understand a wack to the face while trying to go for the ball. I can not accept trying to take out a guys legs on a jump shot. There is a reason so many sprained ankles happen to the guys that Bowen plays D on. Its just dirty Basketball and someone needs to punch him in the fucking face one time.

Bah...he was going for the ball. I don't even like Bruce Bowen and and that was the case. I do hate how he keeps undercutting jump shooters forcing them to try and avoid landing on him and getting injured. that has got to be a called as a foul the same way face guarding is, as while there is no contact, it is a dangerous tactic. Hell, he ended one of Vince Carters seasons like that.

They can't call a foul on a dead play. I mean if they were calling a flagrant then yeah, they can call that, but they can't call a foul.

The Top 50 NBA Players of My Generation

Jordan sucked against dudes that weren't known as offensive threats. We are talking Rod Strickland, Calbert Cheney, Mookie Blaylock type of players. Hell Mark Price used to look like GOD playing the bulls. Dan Marlie( will never be able to spell his name correctly, get over it) jeff Hornecek, John Stockton...these are guys that are supposed tobe droping 20+ on a great defender. And I would never call Karl Malone or Charles Barkley great defenders. Good maybe.

The Top 50 NBA Players of My Generation

I am so sick of the Jordan was a great defender bullshit. Jordan played passing lanes well, but he was eaten alive by every player that lined up across from him. There was a reason they put Scottie on the more important perimeter players. Everyone from Stockton, to Tim Hardaway, to...hell...anyone put up huge numbers against Mike because he was sucky on D. Great team defender, shitty one on one defender. and the call against the bulls. The Bulls led 86-85 and the Knicks had the ball in Hubert Davis’ hands with under 10 seconds to play. Pippen, defended Davis perfectly and eventually, Davis was forced to fire up a prayer from the top of the key. But well after the ball was off, Hue Hollins whistled Pippen for a foul. Even though replays clearly indicated there was no foul on the shot and even though the NBA has long had a philosophy of not calling fouls in last-second situation unless incredibly blatant, and even though the whistle came long after the ball was shot, Davis went to the free throw line with 2.1 seconds to play, buried both free throws, and the Knicks won 87-86.

So why wasn't scottie allowed to get old too? While Jordan was taking seasons off to rest up, Scottie was playing all the way through them. His body went south before jordans did. And he was still a important part to a playoff team. everyone uses the "jordan was old" excuse for these last few years in Washington. That iddn't stop him from taking every fucking shot did it?

The Top 50 NBA Players of My Generation

Neither could Jordan. And are you arguing that Pete Myers was worth a shit? Cause Pippen made him look damn good. He won 55 games with a team of scrubs and was one HISTORICALLY univerally accepted bad call away from Eastern Conference finals. Hell, he was in the top 3 of MVP voting that year. 23 points, 9 rebounds, 6 or 7 assist, 3 steals? That is what he did without Jordan. They swept the Cavs without Jordan. They SHOULD have beaten the Knicks.

By the same token, what did Kevin Garnett and Allen Iverson win? You argued that Pippen does not rank with those two, when they do not have superior championship credentials. So what makes them better than Pippen? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're clearly missing my point. Pippen played with Jordan. In my opinion, that's the only reason he won a damn thing. I'm not saying he wasn't GOOD, just not GREAT. He was a good player who's career was MADE by playing alongside one of, if not THE best player of all time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But the other point is that Jordan wouldn't have won SHIT without Scottie Pippen. Thats right. I will say it. Pippen was the guy that would fuck up the other teams offense and shut down their big time player. If it weren't for scottie shutting down Mark Jackson, the Pacers would have spanked the Bulls a couple of those years. Same thing with the Knicks, and when they finally took the Pistons. It was Scottie that did what was necessary. When the Blazers were blowing the Bulls out in game 6 of the finals, it was scottie and a bunch of reserves that got the game tied with Mike on the bench, ending it there(cause they did not want to fuck with Portland in a game 7 in portland). The guy did the dirty work, the clean work and everything else in between while Mike scored alot of points. Pippen kept that offense going

How does history show that? I think if you look at his post Jordan history, he was averaging around 45-50 wins per season. Plus seriously, 55 wins out of a Bulls team with Pete Fucking MYERS being part of the big three major offensive threats. Stop and think about that for a second. Pete FUCKING MYERS. If not for that bullshit call against the Knicks the Bulls would have went on to get destroyed by the Rockets in the Finals instead of the knicks. Like it has been said. Look at his points, steals, blocks, assist, what he did to opposing players...dude really is top 15 since 1984. And if it is peoples whos entire career was from 1984, then okay. No Tom Chambers. But damn...Steve Smith did alot more for Atlanta than Mookie Blaylock. Mookie just had a name that stood out.(actually I like mookie...he just was no Smity)

The fact that anyone is even trying to argue that pippen isn't in the top 15 of the players of this generation is ridiculous. Is is one of the best on the ball defenders of all time. he could score, he could run the point, he could rebound, he could block shots. All excedingly well. And dude...really...I am an Atlanta fan and I got to say Kevin Willis and Mookie Blaylock being on the list while Steve Smith and a GOD of a man like Tom Chambers not being on there is a crime. I know its your opinion and all, but seriously....Tom fucking Chambers.
