The latest twist in the Schiavo case.......

    NO, starvation killed her.

    This week in the NBA

I like both of these guys. They were both in situations where their management was content and said "fuck this winning shit....its not really necessary" Why WOULDN'T Jason Kidd be upset that the team traded away or lost its (at the time) second best player, the starting 2 guard and defensive stopper and their sixth man and got NOTHING in return. NOTHING. They significantly downgraded the team for no other reason but to save money. The same thing constantly happened in Toronto. I understand. A lot of credit went to Kobe and Yes Shaq, but outside of those two and Derek Fishers occasional great night, who else do they have? They're very thin, and Shaq is slow on defense. Would you call that Lakers team that walked through the league that year and almost went untouched through the playoffs overrated. Cause they are pretty much the same thing....only I think that Miami is deeper than that team, with damon Jones, Eddie Jones, and their PF by committee with Haslim, Latner, Mourning, Doleac. Ripper - Remembering when Detroits defense was being called "overrated" last year because they were playing Eastern conference foes.

The latest twist in the Schiavo case.......

Don't believe the hype. There was nothing left there, no matter what some quack "Nobel prize nominated doctor" tells you. I'm not going to discuss it anymore but read the rest of this thread or any of the actual evidence on this case and you'll see that your tough talk about "finding out the truth" is really, really silly. But the undenyable truth of the whole matter is that she didn't brain damage to death. The reason that her life ceased was because she didn't recieve food. No way to dance around it, she starved to death. lack of food and hydration caused her to no longer breath. That is killing someone. Like it or not, that what happend. And dumbass internet folk are finding it cool to call her a bitch and a cunt because she took up so much oh so valuable TV time when they could have...you know....turned the goddamn channel.

My impression of the people who post in Kotz's

Well, now I can refer to her as "that dead, skinny, retarded cunt" from now on. Any better? Yeah cause that disproves my point about internet bravery. Much better. I absolutely would've called her that to her face. If I could have expected a response other than drool, I mean. No you wouldn't have, because family and friends would have pummeled you. But hey, I guess it would have been worth it to tell that bitchy cunt about herself. Damn her for...um...being...um...something or other.

It wouldn't be anything truely connected with the NBA if they didn't fuck over Dominique Wilkins at least one more time. I mean seriously, there is no reason the guy shouldn't have been inducted, but he eventually will I guess. Just dispictable. They constantly act like the guy was nothing or that he was just dunker and not the amazing all around player that he was. Shit, Dominique could probably still put up 15-16 a game. And sadly, Charles Barkley seems to be the only person to ever speak about the BS shoveled on Dominique Wilkins. And I have to repeat this AGAIN. The Hawks did not suck after Dominique was traded, although I still think they were title contenders until he was. The Hawks were a good team until the management decided that trading Steve Smith for JR Ryder would be a good idea, and getting rid of Mookie Blaylock for Bimbo Coles would be a good idea. They were always in the second round of the playoffs but couldn't get over the Bulls hump.

    Will Smith disses Eminem

Cause god knows both of their careers are in the shitter, you know with Eminem just releasing another multiplatnium album and Will Smith's movie "Hitch" making boat loads of money. They are one step from the welfare line.

    Mitch Hedberg is dead?

"I was walking down the street with my friend and he said "I hear music" As though there's another way you can take it in. Your not special. That's how I recieve it too. I tried to taste it, but it did not work." Dude always told jokes that I would tell if I was a comedian. Loved his sense of humor.

    This week in the NBA

Well except for me Ripper. Don't forget about Kristic- he's really stepped up his game in the past few months and has been averaging double figures. He just needs to step up his free throw shooting and stop getting so many fouls. Yeah, but thats the thing. He can't defend physcially aggresive bigs. He is a beast when he is the physically aggresive big, but when you throw another at him, he is going to foul the SHIT out of them and do it often. The Nets next year with Kid, Carter, Jefferson MAYBE a health Scalabrine(don't correct my spelling bob...you know who the fuck I mean) and Kristic...thats a pretty interesting team. And I still have confidence that Planinic is going to be a player sometimes soon and that Ron Mercer will be a contributor.

I don't get how the team is overrated. They have the best center in the League, one of the best guards in the league a point guard that hits big threes, a couple of PF's that do nothing but rebound but can hit the perimeter shot, a decent SF that will get you 14-15 points a night. ... Basically, they are the Lakers from the past few years.

I know that there shouldn't be anyone in the East wanting New Jersey to get in. If they get to that 7 spot(which is possible with the Pacers having so many injuries and the Sixers and Orlando being inconsistant) I think they would whip up on the Pistons. Yeah, they are a two man team, but goddamn look at what those two men are doing. I don't see saying anyone would definately beat them, although Miami would be a challenge. In the West, I think if the Suns don't have to play Memphis in the first round, they could probably make it the whole way. Timmay's ankle is going to be tender for the rest of this year, even when he comes back. All those little tweeks are still going to eat him up. Duncan at 100% would probably (and I stress the probably) take teh suns in a 7 game series but with Tim limping, I give the edge to the Suns. Memphis...those goddamn grizzlies could take the suns for some reason though. Fucking Mike Fratello.

    Did anybody get a PSP?

I think the debate is over with that offering. And in NBA Jam TE, I would always get either Philly because shawn bradly was the fucking man. I mean he could goal tend all freaking day, his dunk rating was at 9 and when on fire, he was always open from 3 because he was so big. Clarence Weatherspoon was just there to shove people around. On the first NBA jam....Air Dog muthafuckas.

    Johnnie Cochran dead at 67

I can assure you, speaking as someone who may potentially be licensed to practice law as early as this year, that THIS is the funniest line this thread will ever produce. If you have any goals towards being a defense attorney, then this is a very true statement. You know Johnnie was the fucking MAN.

    M. Night Shyamalan

So yeah, I saw the Village yesterday, and I have to say this movie kicked alot of ass, but I remember it taking a shit kicking from the critics and everyone for it being "stupid" or "not scary". Then I remembered the same shit storm over Unbreakable(which I also thought kicked ass) and Signs (which, once again, I think kicked ass only to a lesser degree). Basically I have liked/loved every film he has made since 1999 yet it seems everyone keeps waiting for that Sixth Sense ending or something. When I heard people say that the "suprise TWIST" at the end of Unbreakable was lame, I was a little puzzled by the end. There wasn't anything twisty about that ending. it was a climax to a movie. Then they talked about the TWIST ending in Signs, and once again...that wasn't a twist. It was a fucking ending. The Village, yeah, you can say that the ending was twisty, but it was a kick ass twist. I think his movies are judged off of what people think they should be (a Sixth Sense) clone instead of what they are. The Village was a romantic period piece that was pulled off very well in my eyes, and is very underrated. People fault it for not being a SUPER SCARY HORROR movie, and well to that I say...So what it wasn't scary. it was damn good movie.

Vita, how can you call Tracy overrated. He is averaging 25 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist, 2 steals, while shooting 43% from the field. Kobe is averaging 28 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist, 1 steal while shooting 43% from the field. Tracy is winning. Kobe is not. Who is overrated again?

    I hate my father

And if you don't want shit sold, don't use someone elses home as a storage area. I am not saying his dad should be asking for credit, but dude should be giving some instead of whining over some wrestling tapes he hasn't seen in years.

When did he show himself to be a good or a bad guy. He came off as a psycho the whole time.

    I hate my father

I bet there was this one time where you were a kid and your dad went to work and fed you and clothed you, and probably gave you the money to buy the goddamned collection that you are bitching about now when he could have spent the money on himself. So unless you paid for storage in their home, fuck you for thinking that they are suppesed to save space for you 3 years. Get off your ass, get your stuff out of their hose or quit your bitching. Personally, I would sell the rest of your shit, as you haven't touched it in 3 years. People telling their parents that they hate them over simplistic shit piss me off.

I say probably Lebron. He is a very underrated defender (as is Mcgrady, but I think he is a lil better) he is on par as a shooter as Tracy, a better passer...the guy is just amazing. People just don't really know how really good he is. But really, Lebron/Mcgrady. Whoever comes in second, still is amazing.

    M. Night Shyamalan

But really, how was the end of Unbreakable a "twist". And how was the ending of Signs of a "twist" I think people calling them a twist make them seem worse than they are. Unbreakable was, while not predictable, not a twist. The end of Village was a twist and Signs was twist. And by the way, i did like the kickassness of the Hitchcock throwback in The Village when you get halfway through the movie thinking that Jauquin's character was the main character he gets stabbed and its Ivy who was the main character all along

    Anger managment.

The difference maker in 90% of most fights is what you are willing to do. The dude willing to kill you will always beat the guy willing to kick your ass with anything he can get his hands on. The guy willing to kick your ass with anything he can get his hands on will pretty much always beat the shit out of the I am going to beat you up in a FAIR fight guy. Fair fight guy will probably beat a scared pussy.

added spoiler tags to give people a HINT that MAYBE theyshould use them. dues ex machina - An unexpected, artificial, or improbable character, device, or event introduced suddenly in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation or untangle a plot. In no way does this apply. from the start of the movie to the end Noah was never afraid of the creatures, not because he was crazy, but because he knew that they weren't real. he knew that it was people in suits. At some point before the movie, Noah found a suit, and wanted one too so he started to gut up the animals to make his on. The animals being killed were a point throughout the movie as was the fact that not even the elder knew who was doing it. Its not like ALL OF A SUDDEN Noah was wearing the suit. It was alluded to throughout.
