Yeah, that one came up too. Basically a friend of mine came with me to the barber shop when we were on the way out of town, and the guy that owns the barber shop I go to HATES white people. He is the most racist man I have ever met(despite being half white) but his workers can cut a damn good head so who am I to complain. So we are watching something on television and something about racism comes on, and the guy starts talking to my friend about how white people get away with racism all the time. So my friend starts picking at all the punkass stereotypes that white people have and says its our fault for not being more creative. Even the racist had to laugh at him. "I mean what, you call us honkies and crakers...What the fuck is a honky? And whats wrong with crackers...they are nutricious, delicious and make soup that much more enjoyable. "White people can't jump"...SO!! What the hell we need to jump for? The only one that comes close to hurting is the little dick issue and we got surgeries to fix that, so ya'll just have to come up with something good and then the world can be even."

It is a stand-up comedy "gem" that is in the same ranks as "Women be SHOPPIN", "Guys NEVER ask for directions, do they/we" and "What's the deal with airline food?". "White people have no rhythm" has long been another fall back joke that was probably funny in the mid 80's but comedians just have to let it go now.

If there were some real insulting stereotypes about white people that were available, then it would be even, but as it stands, white people get to sit back and laugh and mock every race with a free pass. I think my friend Cap put it best, "Its not our fault that black people haven't figured out a way to insult us yet that actually hurts. "White People can't dance" oooooohhhhhh...thats suppose to hurt?"

Hey black people go to porn shops. But I guess with "dick sukin hood hoes 43" in "Tame that Black Ass 14" there, you can't really claim to be insulted with anything. And Black people love pottery barn...well the women do. Yeah...thats why I was there...a woman... But a novelty place like Spencer Gifts, fine. People go in there knowing something is going to insult them. But if I go to Urban Outfitters to buy a "I'm Irish" T-Shirt, I shouldn't have to see this shit. It isn't like there is a short list of places that this could be sold and be in a acceptable environment.

I tried to figure it out, but then I just thought about how incredibly limited the show would be if he was TRUELY non corporial, so I just let them get away with it. I was more WTF when he was siting in the chair. Then while Iwas watching the rest of the scene I was like "If he rocks in that fucking chair, I'm writing a letter." I mean truely, he shouldn't be able to walk on the ground. But I guess he kinda really is there if the Neomancer can pull him as he wants. And he has a heat presense, so he is KINDA there.

Well, if that's your issue then, like I said earlier, the dollar will be the last to speak. If the games sell, they stay. If they draw worse money than a Triple H world tour, then they'll be gone. I don't care if it sells, the problem is that this should really be in a niche market if you choose to create something based on racism and not deemed okay to be sold in Malls across america like they are a t-shirt. When something appear acceptable, people assume that it is. When something is this openly readily available, then it will be deemed acceptable. If someone started selling "Jew ashes....Straight from the Holocaust" as a novelty item by the counter at Wal-mart and they started selling like hotcakes...do hotcakes really sell that much. I think porn sells alot more and quicker...and they started selling like porn, it doesn't make it cool. Its still distasteful. And I would be all for it being removed from THERE. This is America and you can make and sell what ever insulting shit you want. I'm sure their is a game or two called Whitey Killer out there. But the shit isn't in Happy Meals at McDonalds.

No, I know it's true. Like I said, I thought a lot of people knew people like that. Again, are you the type of person who actually believes that some stereotypes do not hold merit? I have nothing against you, and you know that. We've been cool the entire time we've known one another on TSM, at least that what I think. I'm just trying to understand this, and why you are apparently refusing to believe what I have said. No, making fun of entire races is fucking cheap and THAT is racism, hating someone because of their culture and the color of their skin, that's racism and in no way is cool. I just happen to believe that when you take a stereotype, take it to the extreme, and make fun of THAT, it's funny. It's nothing against races, it's all about making fun of the stereotypes that people have created. I laugh at this game, just as I would if someone made a redneck or southern game of the same kind. There is no difference to me. Hell, I laugh at this game, just like I laugh at certain music and laugh at certain movies. I can list plenty of films that are more extreme than this, but are perfectly accepted by most people, and laughed at. No, I believe that the sterotypes have to start somewhere (although a vast majority of black stereotypes are built from blaxploitation films and not the actual people) but I have a hard time believing that you know crack dealers that are "jakin rappers for their bling blings yo". And once again, I know it is hard to guage reaction over the internet, but don't think I'm all firey and pissed or anything. This just another discussion...and I have to say shit and fuck alot because this is NHB and it has standards. ... shit fuck poo.

My problem isn't even if you find it funny or that it exist. there are far more racist things out there to be purchased. But how many are deemed to be so okay that national clothing chains carry them. That is my problem with it all. That somehow blatant racism has gone from being the norm, to being shunned to being "cool".

I think he'll retire and just do movies as long as he can control his drug habit. I doubt Mase is coming back anytime soon with a gospel rap album. Most part Rappers always say they're going to retire: Too Short (has a new album coming out btw), Master P, Ja Rule, Rakim, and Jay-Z. The only way you can retire from the rap game if you're forgotten by the fans. I don't think Anthony Anderson has enough time to carry him through movies anymore. He can't act, and will never be anything more than a direct to video movie star. He will notice this soon.

But I really do know a bunch of people where quite a few of these stereotypes are real, I thought everyone did. Hell, I went to school with a BUNCH of people who share some of those stereotypes. Are you the sort that believes that shit like that isn't real? To know if it is true, you have to know the person. Do you know what someone is doing or assume it becaue the look like the stereotype you have formed in your mind. Minorities put up with this racist bullshit on a regular basis way to much for some asshole and a nation clothing outlet to be pushing this like there is nothing wrong with it. All this is funny and cool, but let some one on seriously run down prowrestling on the news tonight and all hell will be rose in the WWE folder. "Fuck insulting a race, that has nothing to do with me because I'm not apart of it, but don't fuck with wrestling." Whats even funnier is there will be a thread in the CE folder about "WHy are blacks always talking about racism. It doesn't hardly exist anymore" But you can go to Urban Outfitters and buy a game that is the equivilant to the "blacks are watermelon, chicken eater that aren't as smart as whites" portrayal from the 50's. But thats fine because making fun of other races is COOL.

Get the hell out of here with that "I know plenty myself" argument because it is complete and total bullshit. None of you know crack dealers that hooked their whole neighborhood on crack or say "yo, yo" after every sentence. You don't know guys that "saw some rapper flashin some Bling Blings and decided to jack da fool." You don't know anyone that owns a bunch of crackhouse or projects. Shit like this BUILDs the stereotypes and then people claim to know someone who is the embodiment of all of these stereotypes. The fact that their are blacks that aren't offended by this means absolutely shit to me, that doesn't change the fact that some racist guy made a racist game and it is a insulting piece of shit. When the logo for the game is a big lipped black guy holding a gun and some liquor, you are not going to sit here and tell me that its "just for fun, and isn't being racist". The game is being marketed to white customers as a way to poke fun at black people. the guy that made it knows this and you know it. All this "why can't we sit back and degrade other races...that not cool" anti-PC crap has just plain gotten ridiculous now.

Of course, everyone on the board is black, it has the cute little Malcum Luthor King and Malcum X characters. Then on the site, it has mock quotes from famous black people whose names have been butchered to say how much of the "shiznit" the game is.

Okay, there is one thing to think its funny, but their is no way that you cant see how this is racist. Come on now, thats just bullshit. The game pieces are crack, a basketball, a 40 ounce and other shit. The words are written in that bullshit ebonic crap that white people swear black people talk like. I swear, people just want to make everyone else look like oversensitve pussies when they "gasp" get offended when someone attempts to offend them. The purpose of this game is to be offensive. Through racist conotations and stereotypes, this game is being marketed to do what? Insult a certain race and I know you can't truely say you can't see that.

I keep watching this show dispite not liking it. This is the weirdest television experience that i have ever gone through. On one hand, they have decent writing...on the other, the acting is pure shite(except for the guys that play Lex and his father), its incredibly over the top with the drawmuh, and there is this weird homoerotic undertone to the Lex/Clark relationship that I can't put my finger on, but gives me plenty of ammo for jokes. Yet...I still watch. They have some cool visuals (the one of Clark stepping out of the bank he was robbing...gourgeous) and some cool one shot storylines. But I don't like it...yet I still watch. I guess the mark of a good(?) show. Oh yeah "the Deal" is going ot be interesting eventually.

Only after he comes out with 4 more games insulting black people...then he will insult southerners. OOOOOHHH.

I passionately hate this album honestly. The scary part is that Rappers NEVER retire (like wrestlers) and he will be back in 2 years. Remember when Too Short retired about 15 years ago. Or Jay-z retiring with...was in LITOSC vol. 3?

It isn't a question of money, it is a question of skill. It is a huge problem up here with hundreds of thousands of university graduates (usually $50000+ in debt by that point, so money isn't really an issue) heading to the US to work through legal channels. Our federal government pretty much ignores it exists, as it does any bad news. However, since these people provide something that the Americans want, they have no problem accepting them. I have several family members and friends who have found it easier to go and work in the US (legally) then it is to get a job up here in several fields (medical, for example). Quite sad, really. As for unskilled labour, why would the US accept some poor immigrant who will just end up working at McDonalds. The US has plenty of people like that already that can't find jobs, and is too overpopulated as it is. Not actually. You have plenty of skilled postions (alot of the illegals men(here at least) work in the construction area which requires knowledge of what they are working on) and you have unskilled (ie. Plenty of maid services here are kept in business through the work of illegals and legal immigrants). Then you have communities that have a large immigrant population. Bilingual employees are then necessary in these places and more places are built that fill in jobs for citizens and illegals alike. Like I said, there will never be a serious push to close the borders or get rid of illegals because of the huge boost to the economy that illegals give this country.

This game is racism through using stereotypes and if a black guy did it, it would still be racist game. I hate when people are amused by racism and then claim that it isn't racist so they can feel better. If you like racist jokes/games or whatever, you like racist jokes/games. It doesn't change what this game is about and how insulting and tasteless it is. I think this is just another case of people being so hard to be "cool" and anti-PC, that blatant racism is overlooked and those that are rightfully insulted by SOMEONE INSULTING THEM is being oversensitive.

I'd play "Kick the guy who made this games ass over and over again" day and night though. If this was Holocosoply or SeptemberEleventh-opoly, there would be out rage. But now he is just making tastless jokes about black people, so that's cool. Fuck him and fuck Urban Outfitters.

1: To respond to a earlier comment, Spike DID have a thing for Willow. He likes his skinney women. Harmony was the exception and you would be hard pressed to say that he liked her. 2: I liked the Ep. Marsters accent did fade from time to time, but hey, thats just nitpicking. I loved his and Angels interaction. And even though the scene at the graveyard was all part of the set up, I think there was a bit of sencerity in that "I'm glad you're the one that's doing it speech." 3: The end is what made the show. Knowing that Spike is probably going to hell(the reason that he didn't really want Angel to destroy the amulet I'm guessing) is really chilling and he played the emotions perfectly in his scene with Fred. 4: This was a Spike centric episode so he was most of the screen time. We know that they do different eps for different characters so the uselessness of Wes so far this season doesn't bother me...yet. I do argue with Gunn being unused. He was a major part of this weeks story, and his "I know the law" story is going to be big, and I think we all know it. 5: Harmony is a great addition to the cast. She is stupid, but isn't so over the top that its annoying. Good job. And she handles the plunging neck line now that Cordy is gone. 6: Freds legs remain on display for two weeks running. I'm going to start doing a leg count for the show. I'm sorry though...skinny girls legs do not make up for the non-lilahness. Lilah should just show up with the glasses again like last year. I'll be happy then.

That was exactly Kwame problem. It was nothing strange for Kwame to get off to a slow 1st quarter and not see the floor again to the 4th. Basically, they were acting like he should be incredibly consistant in his second year out of high school. If he came out strong, Doug (and Jordan) would allow him to play. A bad move on D or a bad shooting first quarter and he was benched. It was ridiculous and ever commentator, sports writer and fan was saying something about it. Then to top off the insult, the team would lose and Jordan and Collins would supply soundbites that would imply that if he had played harder(along with everyone else that wasn't Jordan) they would have won.
